I have never tried purposely to have a lucid dream before. It just happens for me. All my life I have had lucid dreams, although until about a year ago I never heard the term before.
Anyway, I read one some place here, you can appearantly do things like "rubbing your hands" or "spinning" in your dream to stay asleep. But I have a tendency to wake up shortly after gaining control of my dream. Occaisonally I have dreams where I don't realize i'm dreaming, I simply realize that I have dominion of the world around me etc. During these types of dreams I have very rarely been awaken prematurely.
Oh well, I just wanted to know if anyone has a link, or some info, on how to stay asleep longer.
As of the moment I have only three recourses:
1. rub your hands
2. spin.
3. Try to control everything using only thought, vs. trying to talk, or walk or run. (like think to myself, run, vs. actually trying to run.)
