      Dream Skills

Are there certain aspects of dream control that you excel at, and others that you don't?

I just had my second lucid dream, so I don't know for sure, but so far I seem to be best at flying and transforming. However, when I tried to run through a wall, I bounced off it, and I can't do scenery change at all.

I find, that phasing through walls and teleportation is quite easy.

I find flying quite easy, though sometimes it's more of a giant arc upwards, followed by a slow fall.

One thing I also find very easy is stopping a scene I don't like, and changing it... making people disappear, etc. I still having occassional difficulty making objects appear that I want, though.

control over myself isn't the problem, it's maintaining lucidity. But Flying i've been doing since before I learned about lucid dreaming

Flying is easy for me. I'm getting better at summoning. Before I began practicing lucid dreaming, I used to become lucid by phasing through glass. But as I become better at lucid dreaming, I'm finding it hard to do this. In a recent lucid, I tried going through glass and failed. I told mysefl that the glass isn't real; I should be able to go through. My hand thudded against the glass and I actually felt the pressure caused by it... Crazy.

I actually had success modifying my environment recently. It was too dark to see outside, so I clapped to turn the moon on. I continued clapping until the stars littered the sky and an vibrant orange ring of sunset embraced the horizon. I even made these pretty old-style lanterns light up on the sides of the street...

But I suck at teleportation, and I have no control over dream characters.
