Ok, so i had a Dild last night. The only problem was that when i realized that i was dreaming, my dream eyes happened to be closed, so when i went to open them, my real eyes opened. This has happened to me once before. I closed my dream eyes and then opened my real eyes. So my question is, do you have a problem with closing your eyes in dreams, and if you do, how do you fix it?

Instead of opening your eyes physically, you must imagine yourself opening your eyes. Imagine yourself, regaining your sight. Slowly, your dreamscape will fade-in in front of you

Thanks, I needed help with this too, I consider myself to be quite experienced with lucid dreams, but lately I have been waking up a lot from opening my eyes after spinning (I used to never have this problem) and it's really starting to annoy me. I was thinking of trying to just cover my eyes with my hands, but I will try this too.

I've read about this happening to a lot of people before. You just have to be careful.

This is a pretty good advice. This is what I did on my last lucid. A few warriors were jumping after me in slow motion, and hit me a couple of times (I let them to see if it would hurt at all, and it did), and then I closed my eyes. Before I opened them, I imagined something... I had my dream/spirit guide in mind. When I opened my eyes, I was in a dream scenery, somewhat like the one I had in mind.

yup, that's always been my problem especially doing FILD. Just wait for HI to appear, or try to open them slowly saying out loud "i'm dreaming" or you might lose lucidity.
