Thread: More Sweet Tips From A Super Sweet Guy

now, i feel its time for me to parcel out more of my grandmaster advice to ssome noobs. so:
my gift is advice, and this one is for u.
Alot of noobs go to the dream control section saying things like why cant i fly, or why cant i summon myself a ferrari and run it along a trail of clouds while the tire tracks turn every thing they touch into platinum. also i want there to be four supermodels in the car. who cares that a ferrari only seats two? im the god of my dreams and whatevah, i do what i want! well chitluns its not quite that simple... ur not going to be the ubergod the first lucid dream u have, and it will take a while to develop control.
but wait mountain! thats not fair i thought u had advice! ur just telling me what i cant do!
well hold your horses nooblets im getting there. the important thing is to start small, and build from there. i will give u the example of when i first started to develop control.
in one of my first lucid dreams, all i could think about was flying. i kept jumping up and down like an rtard trying to fly. i thought why cant i fly why dont i have control. suddenly i thought of the movie fight club (that guns not in your hand... it's in my hand. and i decided to do that. i looked up at a tree with the most beatiful pink leaves. i said in a calm voice, in the tone u might have when giving a command, "those leaves arent pink. theyre blue." but they were pink. but thats not what i wanted them to be. so they turned blue.
It's astonishing what kind of joy you can recieve just from the most beautiful light blue dr. suess leaf in the world. it was the most vibrant shade of light blue youve ever seen. and thats when i started to develop control. thats when i started to learn to fly. it all came easier after that. i hope you nooblets will try this, not necesarrily a leaf, but anything you see that is a color. just say in a command voice. "that firetruck isnt red. its purple. and it will be so. and everything will come easier after that.

or you could just screw comands and get yourself a god damn GOD REMOTE and you relabel everything like make the power button the fly button and the volume well thats a nice one to have anyways and the pause button and back and forward not to for get the channel.

hey knubis... can u keep the senseless banter in the senseless banter section? im trying to give reall advice to help people out... it might be better if u just didnt respond to anything i say or acknowledge me at all

Deal, you brought it on yourself. I don't mind you, but you piss many people off, as we know from the senseless banter vote.

Back on topic though, that is pretty good advice. It's been given out many times by many people, but it is true. The only problem is that being the hypocrite that I am, I talk about needing to stabilize, and start small, and the second I LD, I try to fly and wake up.

um see my post in the poll. i brought nothing upon myself. in fact... i cant remember ever posting anything relating to docknubis before he came around being a jerk to me. posting sensless banter in the senseless banter section is different then being a jerk to someone who is trying to help people who want advice in a forum for people trying to help people who want at advice.

Don't make me lock this thread. PM each other about this stuff if you want, but please refrain from posting in the public forum.

While I do agree with some of the things you try to get across, your advice gets buried in senseless insults and put downs. You'll get a better reaction out of your audience if you acted like you care.

Could you stop calling yourself a sweet guy? I know a sweet guy in real life, and he never has any pressing need to brag about it. You would be far more convincing if you stopped that.

Honestly, it would be much easier for people to take you seriously if you ceased that irritating charade. Try it next time and see what happens.
