Hey, guys, why nothing on "deepening" the dreams?
Alright, this is the first time I found this forum, but I was wondering why there was nothing on "deepening" the dream, going deeper in it, making it seem much more real? I know at least two ways to do it, which are as follows:
- Touching everything, trying to feel every little detail. In other words, concentration on every little things, be it through touching, or looking at something very closely. Can't look at a broad view, though, I found that kicks me out of the dream. Concentration and especially activity also helps me to remain much longer in the dream. If I don't start running around and engaging actively in something, I go to sleep, or wake up.
- Falling. In other words, forgetting about the dream and just falling in total darkness, best upside down. It's also a form of holding the dream, so you won't wake up if you do that.
I found that after you fall for a time, and you think about something (concentrate hard), you'll be somewhere that's associated with your thought, and it's going to be VERY real.
You can also shut your eyes, as long as you feel the fall. The vision isn't really all that important (in my point of view).
By the way, if you don't believe me, try it next time. Or the next several times, perferrably, there are always unforseen duds and problems.
Sometimes these things don't work, but when they do, everything becomes completely real, and even more real than actual reality (probably because the impulses originate in the brain and don't come from out eyes/legs/arms, thus happening faster).
I might just have missed the thread talking about all this, but I was genuinly surprised no one was talking about this...
