Always stuck in the same place! :(

Whenever i seem to finally attain lucidity i always end up being back in the same old boring scenery... For example last night i realized i was dreaming when i was in this huge hall but as soon as i went lucid the dream morphed into my living room... and i also have a problem with dream characters harassing me and trying to make me lose my lucidity...

I've always had problems with trying to create a different and interesting new dream environment, any advice will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Sounds almost as if you are having a false awakening type of dream, once you become lucid. Can you just continue exploring the environment from your living room. Try to leave the room or use mirrors or a large TV to enter a new scene. Or you can try putting a VR helment and teleport to a different scene.
Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.

Once you achieve lucidity, it will sound nearly like a false awakening dream. There must be some way for you to keep investigating the world without leaving your couch. If you're having trouble escaping the room, try stepping into a mirror or a big TV. Consider donning a virtual reality headset and teleporting to an alternate setting.

Here's my strategy when entering a lucid dream: Scan the landscape for dream characters or anything interesting while retaining lucidity (reality checks, saying clarity now, etc.). *I am typically apprehensive and a little bit scared of encountering male dream characters but know it's important to expect positive results to avoid nightmares. If the situation becomes boring or predictable, you can teleport to a random location by spinning around (you will feel the motion of your body spinning slowly until the location activates) However, only do this to bail out of a nightmare or if the dream is not beneficial.
