Please help!!

I am having some difficulty with dream control while lucid. Also maintaining lucidity. I notice that I had a lot more lucid dreams when I was younger, they were easier to control as well. This problem, comes from a repetitive dream of mine that I've had since I was a kid - so 30ish years In this dream my legs won't work. I will find myself on the ground and when I try to get up, my legs can't support me and they give out. So I sit there struggling trying to stand up and I never can. Most of the time there are people with me - old friends maybe or family. Usually when it happens I find myself slightly embarrassed but I try to hide it from them by pretending its not a big deal and nothing is wrong. What is bothering me is that the last few lucid dreams I've had, that dream has leaked into them, and I can't do certain things. Like fly. The other day I had this dream where I was in a large gymnasium - like room with a lot of other people. It was like we were being processed for something. There were some men in charge. I got the feeling they saw us as lesser people. Our spirits were broken and it was like we had all just given up. I felt like I had to do something that we weren't supposed to do. Then I became lucid and decided I would run from the crowd, do a couple flips and fly around the room. So off I went but instead of flips and flying, my entire body became weak and I just fell on the ground. I tried again, but my body was too weak. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and how I can fix it? I miss my dreams where I could fly wherever I want and do whatever I want. Its like something is broken. Please help! I am not broken anymore!! Last night I had control of my lucid dream in a way I have never experienced! It was amazing! I think writing it all down helped me remember what my problems with dream control were.
