My personal ability in dreaming is manipulating how the dream has a script of exactly how it will play out. Every event will (attempt to) play out exactly how the script says.

One must know fact about my "playbooks": The playbook is not the events themselves. The playbook creates the personalities and motives so that the events unfold however it pleases. Let me give you an example: The playbook does not make you unable to open a door in a time of danger this one time. It alters the laws of dream-sics so that doors never open in danger.

The only thing that can stop the playbook is the one thing it cannot account for: dreamers. Even they begin in its will, but in a dream, it is possible to break free. Why does the playbook ignore us? I'm not sure myself, but I go with the logical answer that we are indistinguishable from DCs until we become lucid (our mind treats us as another character), which lends itself to why DCs are shocked at most dream control.

That's where my unique ability (we all have them) shines. As a dreamer, I can sense, through certain objects, what the playbook has planned, as parts of it are held inside objects (like the door). This comes with the stipulation being I have to find the right object or person first. I can usually stop it if I know what it wants, but it isn't always enough to know what it has planned. I might need to know how the playbook plans to achieve its goals. In other words, I need to know the playbook itself.

The problem is in how detailed the playbook is. The playbook contains every detail about how someone/something acts/reacts, and the more complex the detail, the more info I need. It will be a while before I've figured the ins and outs of a foe, because enemies can be very complex with their reflexes. It's another story when I do manage to know the playbook. I could extrapolate the who, what, when, where, why, how of everything anybody did/is doing/plans to do/will plan to do.

So now that that's out of the way, I ask you to post if you have your own "power" that relies on how your dreams work, like mine, or if you'd like to share any experiences where you felt the playbook in your dreams. Is it only me, or can you sometimes feel the playbook as well?
