Thread: shouting in my dream :P

Ok so i had this non lucid dream and i was walking by this hospital -lol and i was carrying my laptop i heard this guy tell another guy that he was gonna snatch my laptop as i went by so i started walking quicker and quicker but he caught up with and tried to take the laptop from me so i held onto it and wouldnt let go, he tried to snatch it from me but i jumped up kicked him with both feet and did like a back flip thinghe fell over and looked quite hurt but he got up and i like did this massive growl thing and got really really mad like i was gonna kill him, but i punched him but he got up again so i just legged it but of course my legs wouldnt move so i started shouting for a Doctor to come and help me from this guy. I remember shouting Doctor really really loud over and over but when i think about shouting doctor in the dream it seams really funny
anyway this is the only dream that i remember shouting this loud in, and when i woke from the dream i had this really croaky voice and i could hardly talk, i asked my mum if she heard me shouting but she said no.so im just wondering if my dream had anything to do with my croaky voice lol

You may not have shouted out loud, but I suspect your breathing and heart rate were really elevated during the dream. Also, I am guessing you tried to tense your throat muscles as well. Was your mouth dry as well? This WOULD indicate increased breathing hrough your mouth.

Hmm.... everytime I try shouting in my dreams it sounds like I'm whispering. Also goes the same with punching and kicking. I can't kick or punch hard it's like I'm trying to touch them with my fist.

yeah, i often can't talk/yell in dreams. also sometimes when i try and run or walk it's like i'm underwater - really slow and restricted. not sure why...
