      Smile an old time dreamer

In my dreams i have found if i dont like something or if something terrifying or bad is about to happen. i change the whole dream, make something happen to the threat or wake myself up. I have learnt to confront everything in dreams from threats of harm to nudity. This is why i feel like an old dreamer. i have had far out dreams since i was a child and feel i have been through everything in my dreamworld. which means going to places, visiting people, speaking to the dead, having a battle, being stalked even seeing something that will happen in the future and that has happened in the past. Are there any other people who feel like this? I have even met people who have given me advice in a dream. I may not be that old but my dream self ffeels like an old soul

Are you lucid in these dreams or just in control? I have had at least one long fun interesting dream that I was fully immersed in (not a bystander or 3rd person or no plot) each night since I was young. I have answered some waking life questions with dream answers as well, but lucid dreaming is on a whole new level of awesome over the awesome conscious dreams you can get just from sleeping the right hours and expecting to.

It will be interesting to see some of your dream experience here, remember to post dreams in your DJ for all to see. Might not get many comments, but people do see it and might remark on it later during conversations around here.

yes i find i am quite lucid in most of them but some are i am good at controlling. I have experienced dreams as an observer although I feel what the person is feeling and sometimes the person of interest is myself. I have also had a dream within a dream. Another plus is I love music in my dreams the sound is extreme in a good way and always fits the plot of the dream and no I have no radio on around me.

You should work on trying to make dream time slower than real time if you're that advanced.

Sounds like what you're saying is you've done everything ever in a lucid dream? Imagine someone saying they've done everything in real life. You know it's just not possible. Now considering you can do so much more in dreams than you can in real life I just can't believe what you're saying.

Maybe there's more stuff out there that just hasn't crossed your mind yet. Or maybe you should take a break from lucid dreaming so you can remember how awesome it really is.

no i am not saying i have done everything in my dream life or my real life but i have experienced a lot in both worlds. i also believe that both are very closely connected and influence alot of what i do in sleep and waking life. since i have had vivid dreams since i was a kid, i feel my dream life has become part of me. i have made mistakes in dreams but i have learnt from them. as i got older my dreams changed and i also found i could change the outcome of dreams because i was aware of being asleep. i am very open to ppls dreams because i believe anything is possible.

I think I may understand what you mean. Do you make connections in real life to memories, but kind of include every dream you've ever had in those memories? Ex. situation irl reminds you of dream you had when you were even much much younger. Like you are always thinking about your dreamworld, maybe even more than the life you are living?
