Thread: Dream eyes? help

for some reason when I'm in a dream where I have becomed lucid my eyes begin to close and when i try to open them i open my eyes in real life. WTF?

what can i do about it?

I had the same problem once. I tried to write something on my computer back in the real world by blinking in Morse Code patterns, but then blinked too hard and opened my real eyes.

You could try wearing a headband / blindfold over your eyes.

The first segment...maybe the 3rd segment applies as well. Also, sometimes when my dream is fading, it goes dark as if my dream eyes shut but I have always assumed it was just because it was fading and I also find myself waking up but usually keep my eyes closed and avoid moving in order to attempt a DEILD which is much easier in this scenario.

I often have eyesight problems in LD's and am gradually learning to not worry about it, it will come back. In one LD my right eye was clamped shut so I forced it open with my fingers only to see a void, so I let go and the eye clamped shut again. After a couple of minutes in the lucid with very basic eyesight, it just sort of came back.
