Why are you so angry at that? Just take it as a lesson. You tried confronting him in anger and it didn't work. Now you know, that's probably not the way to go.

He could be just a dream character going about his business and you could try to avoid him and go about your business. Or he is a part of you that is violent and angry, and if you approach it with violence and anger, you get a fight. That's probably not a solution you are looking for.

Try to tell him that you love him anyway and see what happens. If he is a part of you that's violent and you don't like that about yourself and you try to push it away and forget about it - that will not work. It still is part of you, wheather you like it or not. Best course of action would be to acknowledge that you have it and make peace with it by saying that you love it and accept it.

Now I'm not saying that you are a violent person. But pretty much everybody has something that we don't like about ourselves and untill we make peace with it that we do have it, it will keep haunting us.

Robert Wagonner's book "Lucid dreaming - gateway to the inner self" talkes about issues like this.
