The other night I had a LD that was distinctly different from those I usually have. In most of my LDs I have to do a lot of stabilization and lucidity maintenance, like constantly reminding myself to stay lucid or continually rubbing my hands together, things like that. I also usually find that DCs make absolutely no sense whatsoever when I usually try to talk to them, typically responding with quotes that are totally irrelevant to my questions.

However, my LD the other night was nothing like this. For one, it was maximally vivid and clear right off the bat, I became lucid instantly at the very beginning, perhaps even started out lucid. Everything was as 'real' as waking life, I went around doing lots of cool things, including talking to DCs and having some actual sensible conversations and exchanges with them, and the strangest part to me was that I never once had to bother with any sort of stabilizing or maintaining lucidity. It was just perfect lucidity from beginning to end.

I get up to pee 3-4 times a night, so I'm wondering, did I possibly accidentally WILD or AP or something that night? I have little experience with either, as DILD has proven so reliable and straightforward that I haven't been able to muster the motivation to work towards those things, but it's strange that things were so distinctly different and concrete. Anyone else had similar experiences or could shed some light on this? Is it alternately possible that I'm just getting 'better' at LDing and so it's working more naturally?
