How can I create large storylines in lucid dreams?

I haven't had a full controllable lucid dream yet but as preparation for what I really want to do, I'd like to know, how can I create a storyline in a lucid dream? Like the storyline from Hyu's Dream Journal. I don't just wanna run around and explore things, I'd REALLY enjoy having the ability to enter this private world where there's constant adventures and battles to be had, where I have a group of loyal friends who swear to fight by my side against any of the dark forces in my dreams. However I don't quite want to have to come up with my own story for it, maybe I'd like a general idea of how it would go to appear among it but I'd like it so that there is still suspense and action, so that I don't know EXACTLY what's coming next. Like a movie basically or a novel. Slowly unraveling as I progress through it at whatever pace I have the ability to conjure up (I would consider it like living out a fantasy novel as the main character) Is this even possible to do at will, or is it natural. Unfortunately, what I noticed in Hyu's DJ was that he seems to be a natural considering that he says he's been doing it since childhood and that it seems to come so easily to him. Anybody got any answers?

      Hello!
I would also love to do this. However I suck in stabilization.
If you have/buy LaBerge's EWOLD, you can read a chapter about it.
Some people have natural talents, others have to endeavor for a long time. GL!

      Don't do anything, Kvxdelta.

Instead, go with the flow of the dream you're in, letting your dreaming mind do all the complex creation work for you. Simply enjoy the dream you are in, and participate rather than try to take charge. If you're lucid, you'll notice that the dream tends to adjust itself to your expectations without your conscious help, because it (aka, You) knows what you really want. Think of it as expectation-driven creation, rather than the conscious creation you need if you choose to take over the entire dream.

You do run a modest risk of losing lucidity by going with the flow, but only because the dream might become too much fun to bother maintaining awareness, so who cares!

Thanks Sage, that was really helpful. I was a bit worried that it indeed WAS a "naturals-only" thing for a bit but you settled my mind at ease. I think I'll leave that til' I can get better stabilization and better control just so I have a backup plan if my dream goes resident evil 5 on me and I wanna change my situation. I recently had my first lucid dream but I didn't really have control, I couldn't access too much from my waking brain, and I didn't even make an effort to stabilize. As stated in my dream journal, I just jumped in the air like 20 feet high and then landed on the ground, which was made of cushioning and really soft mattresses. But I heavily enjoyed that.
