Lucid dreaming since September 2011!!!
Lucid goals: Jumping out of a car going at high speed and crashing into an oncoming car, completely destroying the car, leaving me unharmed.[ ],
Visiting moon [x], Proper flying [x], Stabilizing an LD perfectly [x], Shoot lightning/lasers out of my fingers [x], Shapeshifting [ ], Fly a helicopter [ ], TOTY 2013 [ ], Change dreamscene [x].
Lucids: 16 crappy, 15 good, 5 awesome.
I have found that most people's dreams are simply based on what their mind can handle at the time. |

As soon as you have gotten lucid and stablized look for specific details that will force you to become vividly aware. Look for colors. Ask specifically if the colors look right and the color part of the dream will amplify. Next attempt to view something off in the distance, this will force your brain to create a backdrop like hills or buildings. If it still needs to be more vivid examine something close up to bring in some fine detail. |

Simple and to the point. I like it. |

I increase the vividness of my lucid dreams by saying out loud "increase resolution" or "turn up resolution". Another good technique is to examine an object close up - I find that seeing more detail in one aspect of my dream can increase the detail in the rest of it. |

Work on your recall and once you get lucid, activate your senses. If you focus on your eyesight during a lucid it will get better. It's amazing how realistic a LD can be. |

Previous Lucid Task: Flying [X]
Next Lucid Task: Telekinesis [ ]
2012 - LD's: 17 | Dreams: 24 - Updated every now and then...

One method you can use to trick your mind or brain is to try to get a false awakening and notice it. You can either do this by trying to wake up then just wait for a few seconds and get some strange sensations, because then you now you are back in the non-physical, or you can wait for it to happen automatically and notice it. This was I got my most vivid lucid dream ever so vivid that I at the time didn't consider it a dream but something real like a real OOBE or something. |
|
Mostly, I just think to myself "increase stabilization" or "increase lucidity". If I find myself rapidly beginning to lose the dream, I wig out and start shouting to myself. Stuff like, "Hey! Come on ME! We're still dreaming here pal!" |
|
If you want to stabilize your dream i did one trick to make me see someone in my dream clearer, by walking out of the room, and closing my eyes and coming back in and opening my eyes again, it actually worked. Or turning around and closing eyes and turning back to the specific thing you want to get clearer to see. |

IMO the easiest way to get vivid lucid dreams is to simply use techniques that involve a transition from waking life to dream scape without any lapse in conciousness. A DEILD or WILD tend to be the best dreams in terms of realism. The more aware you are in a dream the more real it seems. A DILD doesn't start as super realistic because you have to work your awareness up as soon as you become aware enough to get lucid where as a DEILD/WILD you already start off with full waking consciousness. |

I'm always vivid in every lucid dream. Is there such a thing as natural vividness? |

Good point NoxNoctis it rises the question, is the dream vivid because of a chemical in the brain (For example the so called DMT) or something else. |
