Having trouble with leaving my house in dreams, and following the storyline.. etc.

Last night I had a pretty vivid lucid dream, with not too much clarity, though. But anyways, it resulted from an FA. I caught it, RCed, and was lucid. For some reason, I only stayed around my house in the dream. I just can't leave it seems. Also I seem to follow the storyline, and not go do other things, like goals of mine and stuff. Any tips? Plus, I'm trying to find my dream guide. I'm not sure shouting "Dream Guide?" Will do the trick lol. Thanks for the help

Shouting 'I'm looking for my dream guide' or asking DCs about him could help. You can also say it in your mantra as you falling asleep. Ask your mind to help you find him or talk to him, or ask him directly (in mantra) to teach you something. It helps, if you write down your goals and repeat them before falling asleep. Did you yell 'clarity now'? Happy dreams

Hey Sydney, sorry to hear you're having lucid house arrest You know, I was just talking to someone recently who had an idea if you're stuck in one place. He said to draw a door on the wall (kinda like in the movie Beetlejuice). So you draw the door, and tell yourself what will be on the other side. Another city, country, realm, whatever. Have a positive mind and believe something new will be on the other side. You'll be surprised! As for your DG, try the phone trick. I get alot of crazy stuff when I pick up a phone in an LD. Nothing wrong with knowing a few tricks. Good luck! And let us know how it goes. ~ophelia

omdz PORTAL GUN!!! I just remembered I used this one time, I went from the city to the suburbs. Next time your stuck remember the portal gun or use subspace.

what do you get from the phone in your LD? I tried hacking a phone and listening to the conversation but all I got was static.

I like the portal gun idea alot haha! The phone thing works best for me if I have a really strong desire to talk to or see the person in question. Then I just pick up a phone. And, usually without even knowing the correct number, or dialing anything, the person I want is already on the line. I love it.

You can try turning on the TV, and walking into it. That's something I used to try alot. Works great if you want your lucid to be in a cartoon . But for a more objective solution. Just lay down on the ground, and imagine your somewhere specific. Let it sink in for a bit, try to feel like your standing there, then just walk into it when you start to feel like your scene is coming alive. It usually takes too much effort for me, I tend to be lazy in dreams.
