Ok I'm game. I'm not too good at inducing lucid dreams yet (still scared of SP but getting over that), and I think this might help, to already know what's going to happen |

I find my mind to be my canvas in my sleep, in a way as i would paint a picture, i paint my dreams. my eyes close, and i slip into my psyche, blackness, and i tell myself what i want to see, where i want to go, what i want to encounter, even as little as what colour shirt i want to wear, or how i want my hair.. |

|
I dont regulary do this, i just had this idea lastnight and thought i'd Post it./ Anyway to the dream!! |
|
This is a brilliant thing to do, may I ask how you actually control your dreams? I can only control my daydreams. |
|
well im Lucid in like most/all of my dreams, so i literally repeat what i want to my psyche and it shows up! its hard to explain lol. |

I've been interested in this topic for a while, and last night I actually had some form of success with this thing you call dream incubation. I performed a WBTB around 4:20 in the morning, before going to bed I told myself I will become lucid in my dream, then imagined a scenario of me sitting in my math class at school, realizing something is wrong with whats being taught and becoming lucid because of that. I indeed went on to have a lucid dream where I became lucid in that exact same scenario, and this happened before I read this thread even, which is why I'm so interested in this all of a sudden. |

Current goal: Learning pyrokinesis and FUS RO DAH
Im keen. Although, like MissLucy, Im not too good at it either (with my sporadic weekday work schedule, I can usually on induce on Saturday and sunday mornings) but no harm in trying. |

Spoiler for Current Lucid Goals:
Pretty cool if you can do this every night. Even most lucid dreamers don't have that much control over their dreams and incubation is a subject the we have not developed as well lucidity. Tonight I want take a vacation on a beach with a nice colorful sunset. It would be really tropical with a jungle behind the beach and no buildings or anything. Just sit back in the sand and enjoy it. |
|
I've only successfully incubated a dream once, but not fully. I wanted to (and still do) have a dream with a dragon. The exact dragon I pictured didn't make it's way into my dream, but dragons came up a few times. |
|
Dagnabbit, I've been thinking of the same person, visualising the same scenery and events with that person every night and NOTHING >_< |

MissLucy, Dont think, Talk to you're inner psyche, visualise before you pass out, meditate to sleep, this should help, let me know! |
|
I'm interested, This technique basically makes your non-lucids nearly as interesting as your lucids, is that right? Let's do this then |
|
well yes and no, you can make your non lucid dreams more interesting yes, but i do it when i am lucid, this makes it alot easier as you are pretty much awake in your dream, so you can tell your psyche to do what you want. |

'Psychality' is my new favourite word |

Always, no sometimes think it's me,
But you know I know when it's a dream
I think I know I mean a yes
But it's all wrong
That is I think I disagree

i didnt sleep last night, ill give it a go tonight, got arrested |

ahh, So sorry to hear you are having such great difficulties, i understand, try sleeping with a fan or some other sort of white noise, white noise is very natural and soothing to our ears and minds while sleeping, because as babies, we cant quite make out the noises we hear while in the womb, so it comes in as white noise. |
|
Okay Il give this a try. |
|
Today I will be happier than a bird with a french fry
I love how you say "my mind is my canvas". |
