Good job confronting it!Thats really brave of you.If that were me i would have been hella scared.Well since it told you that it was trying to protect you,and you confronted it,the dreams will probably stop. But really,i would go back to him next time your lucid and ask it what he is protecting you from. That would be closure for me. |

Do you have any worries about LD? Like some people get scared when reading about sleep paralysis. Often it is said, that a nightmare can represent repressed fears. Being scared is a survival mechanism, it is supposed to protect from getting hurt. It is not useful to just ignore the fear away, but instead one should have a look at the message and what one can learn from it. Then there is no reason to be afraid anymore. |

Good job confronting it and talking to it. You should try some dream control, knowing full well that this is YOUR dream. Try and tell it off, if need be, use force. I'm sorry if i missed alot more in the first thread because I haven't gone through it, but it seems like if it's occurring and you don't understand why, the best thing to do is to really confront it. |

Ninja just mentioned on one of your other threads that this could be an archetypal dream. And reading the OP above, this hunter just screams Shadow. It hides in darkness, lights go out wherever it goes, it's all black and in black clothing and has no face and ebony claws. |
