I don't know if this has been discussed before but, here's a technique I discovered and I want to see if it works. Okay so you can do 'anything' as long as you believe 100% right? Well, what I'm going to try is 'casting spells'. I want to make my sub conscious aware that during an LD, _______ WILL happen when I ________, if that makes sense. I will make a spell.. Okay lets say I want to turn off gravity when I snap 2 fingers at the same time. I will study that. Like read it 20 times. Make sure that I remember that and BELIEVE that I WILL turn off gravity once I snap 2 fingers at the same time. If you study it, it will get stored into your sub conscious like anything in real life. Like you know that 2 + 4 = 6. It's simple, you don't need to remember that, once you see a 2 and a 4 together you know it'll be 6, it's a no brainer. However in LD's I sometimes feel unsure whether a technique will actually work. If I study it enough it will be like simple addition to me. I'll believe it 100% all the time! Do you see where I'm coming from guys? It's like magic in Harry Potter or something. As long as you believe it will happen right? Is this a good technique? I came up with it after remembering some feelings I had from an LD I had last night, I remember feeling reallllly unsure whether or not spinning would teleport me. After doing it again and feeling that I WILL teleport no exceptions, it worked!
EDIT: I should have scrolled down the list of topics before I made this, haha, anyway instead of this being a description on my theory let this just be a tutorial on how to 'make' anything in your world happen. Also as BillyBob said you can make your own rules. Make sure you study them though because if you don't study them, you'll feel unsure that something will or will not happen, you have to believe! That's all I can say, it's really hard to describe if you haven't experienced an LD because the feeling of actually having one is so mindbogglingly awesome, it's easy to get lost in your world and forget what your goals are. As plenty of people say, another great thing to do is create a checklist with your goals, study them, make sure that when you go into an LD you know what you want to do because it's also very easy to run out of things to do if you don't have a very good imagination.. Anyway, I'm done rambling, I just thought I'd share some of these thoughts with you guys.. haha.
