The concentration that I'm referring to is the type that disciplines the mind to a point where you can be free of thoughts for 10, 20 minutes at a time, a complete void of thought, I.E. the goal of meditation.
I practice regular exercises on training my mind, but I would like some input as to what the repercussions of doing such exercise would have in the dream world. Thanks!
If it has any effect, it would be a positive one. Being able to clear your mind and only focus on the task at hand might keep you from getting distracted and losing lucidity.Quote:

Dream control's more about "knowing" something will happen, and having confidence that it will happen. However, it's also good to be focused on what you're trying to do in the dream, without distraction or being bothered by other DCs (and whatever else there may be). Clearing your mind is one of the most important things in my opinion, when you are doing a WILD or WBTB. Since I started using the 'void' of meditation I went from one lucid to six in about a week.
