Thread: Closet Teleportation

I've seen this method a lot before it's just a closed door teleportation method, people say it works well though.
There's a thread in dream control that tells you all about all of the different dream powers and how to accomplish them.

I mean just pick a storage room, like a closet and dedicate it as your portal to areas in a LD. Stick it in your mind that it is a portal that will take you where you wish and not just a door and hope that you get to where your going. The sign which after awhile will appear in dreams of being in your house will set you subconciouse into thinking it is a portal and increase the chances of it working.

Yes the using the door as a portal which is like a teleport works great for me.

I used to use a hand held button like below. It was an "emergency random teleport device" to me and came in handy when I was trapped a few times. I'd pull it out in a panic, press the button and would teleport to a random place.

Thats a great idea.

If you've had trouble using doors as teleportation before, then grounding the principle to just one specific door should work very well.

If you apply this principle to any door though, you certainly open your opportunities to be able to teleport from more places.

The thread is this one, it's under User articles Very helpful, tells you everything and more about every technique that is needed. Here's a quote from the thread it pretty much sums up this thread, you can use it for teleportation the same way.

Door Method:
This method is a commonly used method. To use this method, plan(intent!) that whatever you're summoning is on the other side of that door. When you open it, it'll be there. Easy.

I am just thinking that this would be a big help for people like me who almost always have lucids about there own house. Yes I think maybe I should use more doors for that. I might wind up going lucid in the basement.

The thing I always find creepy about door method is that i might find something evil like a rotting zombie.

You won't find a rotting zombie unless you think about rotting zombies, just close the door, think about your location, say it out aloud and then walk to it

I have had about 60% success rates with door teleportation. It has been the only form of portalling that works for me. The 40% that failed is times i have tried to dream share with my girlfriend, but that's not for this thread.

I too tried this to share a dream with my girlfriend and it didn't work. I'm definitely going to try it to teleport to different worlds though.

I just get scared. Ill face up to one if I do find one, I seem to be less scared in a LD then i do thinking of the situation before the LD>

Well, we have had one succes, Its just the other times I tried portalling to her she was awake

As for Osmodin, my advise is to tackle your fears, head on. Summon a rotten zombie, then kill it. And then you can be all chill knowing you can get rid of anything that comes your way

I decided to make my bedroom closet a portal but only to one location. Instead of sticking a sign on it I just thought about it, A LOT. When I eventually became lucid I just KNEW it would work.
Unfortunately I woke up before I could try it.
