i have never done any drugs, but today in health class I was researching LSD and I thought, I wonder if it is possible for someone having a hallucination due to LSD, marijuana or other drugs to become lucid in the hallucination. So does anybody know?
Most of the common psychedelics(marijuana, LSD, shrooms) you are completely lucid through out the whole trip on an average dose. There are only a few that you are tripping and unaware of the fact that you are tripping. Datura and Salvia are the first two that come to mind, but I am sure there are others.
ya im pretty sure when you are on shrooms its not like your seeing just completely randomn shit just everything looks different so i guess you could control it sorta. why dont we all do some lsd and try it for ourselves

:D Yea, sadly I've yet to completely blow my mind on DMT. I took a few small hits of it coming up on shrooms at a music festival and it was really pleasant, but since I had just eaten shrooms I didn't want to go all out. And since it was a music festival we were busy with other things so I didn't get to try it again. :( Someday I will have a salvia-eske trip on DMT....someday...Quote:

absolutely, however different to dreaming, you can also be completely conscious during the trip yet no where near lucidity. it took me ages to catch on that i was essentially just dreaming in a trip once. from my limited knowledge i would say that trips push you into a dreamstate that you may or may not be ready for, which can be amazing or terrifying depending on many factors
I think Lucid dreaming is an intense help for a better understanding and moving into a trip. I don't think you are, in both cases, travelling in so different states of consciousness (first time someone I know took shrooms, he was almost sure he was just asleep, and dreaming)
Just, substances can lead maybe to more impactful part of yourself, while dreams, ime, are more protected in that sense.
Always be careful, if you never took anything learn how to get into the psychedelics little by little, without too huge dosage or hurry. You may find wonderful treasures there =)
