      Creating persons.

Hi there, I haven't really had my first LD since I "got serious about it". So I was just wondering, how easy is it to replicate a person you've seen in a photo in a dream?

From what I've understand, the brain stores everything you see (amazing, really) as in a photographic memory, and people who have said they have photographic memory are just better at digging through all this information.

With that information I drew the conclusion that all you really have to do is take a quick enough look at an image to be able to get _an idea_ of what the person looks like in order to replicate that person in your dream, is that right?

Then there's another problem, a photo is 2D, emaning you won't get an allround view of a person you've seen in a photo, can the brain compensate for that if you just imagine how that person might look?

Unless you've already figured it out, yes, I have a couple of photo's that I wish to replicate.

I think it's possible to create a person from a photo as you will have an image about this person in your mind. Anyway, the creation itself might be somewhat tricky. At least I usually have problems in creating/inviting certain dream characters in my dream. One trick I've had luck recently is calling them with phone.

Anyhow, I don't see a real difference in creating a person you've seen a photo of or a person you've seen in real life or video.

The problem I see with a picture would be that you don't get an overall picture of the person in question. If you see them in real life or in amoive they are moving, wich makes everything a lot easier.

Also one of the things I was wondering about was in how much detail I'd need to study the photo/photos.

      I've done it.
A guy i got chatting to on the net sent me a picture, and i began dreaming about him. I didn't study his picture to an extent, just looked it over.

Your brain will create the missing parts of the body. If you see a picture you will get an overall image in your mind because you will make up what you can't see. I think you can even create a person you have never seen if you have some kind of image in your mind.

I have no doubt you can create a fictive person, wich I of course will try aswell. But with a fictive person you're not bound to any limits, with a picture you want a realistic image of that person. That's what I was thinking when doubting I could replicate a person from a photo.

Its very easy to create a person you know, or a person from a picture. I find its very hard to create your own person.. but its easy to make them go away.

If i summon family.. its really hard for me to make them dissappear again for some reason.
