      LucidProdigy's DILD Workbook

Hey there! I'm LucidProdigy, a 19 year-old physics major currently living in North Carolina. I really can't say I'm that new to lucid dreaming. I've been lurking on this forum for a couple of years, and have had my bursts of motivation here and there. In all, I believe I've logged about 50 lucid dreams. This time around, I would like to stay consistently active in my pursuit of a true lucid lifestyle. I've had a bit of experience in all sorts of techniques, but now I'm going to solely focus on DILD(SAT), MILD, SSILD, and Dream Yoga. In all of my lucid dreams, I seems like lack proper control and stability. For example, I've never once successfully changed the dream scene (all my LDs seem to take place in my house), had an intentional conversation while lucid, and oftentimes my dream body is 'tipsy', almost like I'm very drunk in the dream .

Day Time Awareness: SAT (5-6 times daily, although this number will increase with practice)
Recall: 1-2 dreams daily, with average clarity. This NEEDS to be better
Mantras: "I remember all of my dreams" (At night w/ MILD); "The next time I'm dreaming, I see my hands and realize I'm dreaming" (Used with SAT in the day)
Short Term Goals: Remember 3+ dreams per night consistently, successfully change dreams scenes in a lucid, have a meaningful conversation with a DC (preferable Dream Guide), have 3+ LDs/week.
Long Term Goals: Create a persistent realm with dynamic DCs, experience transcendent dreams, become at least adept at dream control

Last night, I woke up after about 4.5 hours of sleep. I tried to recall any dreams, and afterwards did around 4 quick SSILD rotations, and 3 slow ones. It took longer than usual to go back to sleep, but I eventually did. I 'woke up' (in retrospect, I was probably already asleep) and immediately experienced WILD-like vibrations and flashes of light that lasted around 4 seconds. I immediately knew I was in a dream, and sat up in my bed. To my dismay, I had that strong 'drunken feeling' again; to try and alleviate this, I examined my wooden dresser next to my bed in an attempt to ground myself in the dream. After about 15 seconds of feeling the texture of the wood, I tried to phase through my bedroom wall, but failed. I woke up shortly after.

A lot of my lucid dreams follow a sequence similar to above, and I really would like fix this so I can start on my dreaming adventures. Looking forward to this!
