I'm Brandon, I'm 18 and I've been a lucid dreamer since I joined Dreamviews in September of 2011.
I have started LDing again in the past two months and have had relatively nice success. I want to learn to better my DILD and get closer to LDing every night.
My goals include: 3 LDs in one week and having a DILD without a WBTB
All of my LDs seem to be dependent on a WBTB.
I drink a bottle of water before bed to get me up for my WBTB and I normally will stay up for 60-80 minutes studying or doing homework.
I usually practice awareness, keep a dream journal(need to be better at that), and use mantras.
I have also just begun experimenting with melatonin. I have read it stalls all REM sleep, but increases overall REM sleep. The past two nights it seems it has stalled my REM sleep, but I don't really sleep enough (only 6 hours avg.) to cash in on the bonus REM sleep.
