Hi all,
So here's a little about myself and my dreaming habits:
I've been trying to LD for the last 4 or 5 years, and it's always been hit and miss (mostly miss). I'm fine once I get into the dream and become lucid, but the issue (as it's always been) has been just to get to that state at all. I'll have an LD once every few months, and the low LD rate causes me to forget to keep up good practices and prevents me from actually gaining the experience I want/need. I've tried all of the methods, and all of them have been met with minimal success, but frankly I'd rather just be good at only one, and I figure that the DILD is as good as any.
Anyways, I have very good recall when I want it and I'm not feeling lazy, and my level of awareness has greatly improved recently due to daily meditations. I've noticed that I'm more 'there' in my dreams nowadays. I have more awareness and I can make decisions and have conscious thoughts, but it's like I just cant take that extra half step to lucidity. I'd like to say that I have dream signs to help tide me over that extra half step, but after scouring my DJ's nothing pops up that's overly reoccurring, so doing a fairly appropriate RC is difficult.
Since that's the current case, I figure doing a workbook will force me to think about dreaming more during my waking hours. I'm hoping that a little discipline will be what I need, but I'm very open to suggestions and pointers as well.
