Just Another Dream Journal

I don't really know about it is about this particular dream that freaks me out, but it does every time I have it. I've not had it for a while though.

I don't recall how things began, but I was in a small house. The lighting was bad and there was a woman in the hallway. Some DC was with me and he was looking for pictures to give to her. She ate them.
I found a book about the vanities of women which was filled with pictures, but she refused it and asked what it had to do with her.
There was a horrible safe room in this area. It always reminds me of a safe. It was junked up and the man was annoyed because we were going to be needing it soon, but he couldn't get the secret door opened because it was at the other end of the clutter.

I eventually cleared it all out and unbarred the door. The door you enter through completely seals and you would die in the room if not for the other one. Only, we were going to be pressed for time and wanted to seal the entrance before hand and enter through the exit. But it latched so completely and could not be opened from the outside. I ended up sticking a rag in the door to prevent it from locking.
There was also valuable stuff inside the safe room and I worried about leaving it unguarded, but there was nothing I could do.
I went to tell my companion but he had died (?) I was about to rewind the dream to an earlier "save" but became lucid long enough to realize the dream never really changes and it would be best just to wake up.

>>The paintings and pictures came from watching White Collar before I went to sleep. I don't know why she was eating them though. The book came from the intro to one of Alexander Popes poems which spoke of women in curious fashion (to me anyhow). Ah yes, the Rape of the Locket. The entire poem was weird to me.
