Just Another Dream Journal

Though not necessarily in that order.

Last night, I dreamed of being in a fancy hotel with my hubby and a teensy kitten head popped up out of the sink drain. I helped it the rest of the way out and saw its mom on a nearby counter freaking out.

I took a nap from around 7-11 this evening after having eaten TGI Friday's Onion Rings "Chips".
In one dream, I was on the phone with my oldest daughter. She was asking when she can come home (for a visit) and I told never because I can't afford all the back and forth driving. She became extremely upset and started speaking some other language. She translated what she had said and one of the words was the "F bomb". I find that word incredibly offensive IRL. My kids can get away with dropping occasional bad words but NEVER that one. So, in the dream, I told her I was hanging up because I didn't want to hear that sort of language but we still managed to say "I love you" before I did.

In another dream, I was in some house and there were kittens EVERYWHERE. You couldn't take a couple steps without fearing you'd squish them. There was a lot more to that story, but I don't really recall anything other than going into some guys garage/basement and asking where the breaker box was because the lights were out. He was worried about something (?). And later in the dream, when I told some other random DC about the encounter he became very concerned for me (??)

In the most disturbing dream I think I've ever had, my youngest daughter went into great detail about how she and her friends raped a classmate during a sleepover. I will spare you the details. I felt outrage for the sake of the girl and my bile rose...... literally. I woke up sitting in bed, unable to breath because of those stupid Onion Ring Chips lol. I was choking on acid which also makes me vomit a little, but I instinctively swallow which causes a seemingly endless loop until I regain consciousness enough to take control of the situation

Oh yeah.... I also had a strange dream about some "Asian" tribe. A very elderly woman was recounting her life in her village and how, when she was younger, conspired with others her age to destroy the elders. She shook her head in sorrow at their foolishness. But she went on to say the elders still live on in the descendants of the tribe and how she could always tell who had been related to this or that elder. She could even tell, because of it, who would come into power and who would have a bad life. She spoke of one such person of having a "water mark" (totem tattoo birthmark) who inherited it from a certain wise elder and how he became Emperor of the tribe for many, many good years.

I don't remember actually being in that dream. All I recall of it is her story and some faces. Ahhh yes... she was being interviewed by some News channel. At the end of the dream, specialists were brought in who debunked her ability to tell the bloodline of everyone from (what became) a very large tribe- merely from appearances. They went on further to say there were originally 10 elders (who were somehow destroyed), but that created enough diversity in the gene pool for significant differences.
I rolled my eyes- even though "I" didn't really exist lol.
