I'm not sure how I got there, but my first memory is that I'm at a party.
While a lot of my friends are there, it seems like for the most part the people in attendance are people I was once friends with, and would still like to be friends with, but some drama got in the way.
Most notable is my former best friend, who stopped associating me after he dated my sister. I warned him in advance her relationships have a bad habit of ending with her cheating, but he went ahead with it anyway. When the relationship crashed, he took it out on me. I had recently gotten him a job with us working together, and he stopped showing up, doubling my workload over night for a couple weeks.

Anyway, the dream progresses with me avoiding my former friends (while wishing I did not have to), and trying to have a good time. Eventually my group of friends decide they wish to go to one of the new clubs that opened up in town. A former coworker is there, and offers to be my ride. It was odd that he was present, as he and I had always just been associates, never friends, never enemies. I honestly don't even know his last name. We left the house the part was at, and found ourselves in a cove. He lived across on the other side and had to grab something real quick. The cove seems familiar, but I have no idea where I remember it from. Dream me seemed to know where I was though, making the comment that as many times as I'd been there, I had never realized he lived there as well.
As we went to get into his car, I woke up.

Didn't seem as though there were any specific dream signs. Just a normal party, with the exception of being full of a bunch of people I no longer associate with.
