dream fragment

I'm walking along and I see my friend Ryan arguing with some guys, because his rocket, plane thing fell and crashed from an error made in production. He's trying to get his money back, so he's trying to prove that it was their fault. I ride one of the rockets into the air, then use something to glide. I glide far and fast, over misty green hills, a mountain range, and a small wooded area. When I finally land I have to trek back. My dad walks with me and we talk.

I'm going to be driving home soon. I'm on a city about an hour away. As I start to drive, I see a friend of mine, Ryan. He's in a rental. We stop and talk, and get some food together. After we eat I invite him to return the rental and come with me, since it would be cheaper. He agrees, so we return the rental, and stop by his house before we leave. There he shows me his computer setup. He shows me how he checked the chips in the rocket and I ask to borrow some of the readers. He agrees. We sit and talk on his couches for a while. We finally get in the car and leave, but now the car is a manual.
I don't notice the change until we get to a stop sign and stall. Ryan gets out and checks the engine, and then light turns green. None of the other cars are moving, so i wave for them to start, but only one does before it turns red again. Ryan finishes with the engine and I am able to start it so we go, forgetting about the light

I am at a college open house, checking out clubs. I join a small gaming club, or something like that. Once I start going to the school I only go once,then start to
go to an engineering club instead I begin walking home with some friends when
they start to do something, I can't remember what, that I don't think they should.
so we separate. I look at a gps and plan a path.

As I'm walking, I go through a forest, where I see a guy getting attacked. My approach
scares off the attacker, but he goes the direction I'm going. After checking on the victim, he and I go up on a higher path, overlooking the path the attacker took. We can see him moving, and my companion wants revenge, so he begins to push logs down the hill to hit him. Near the point where the trails reconnect, he gets a hit. When we go down though, it's some woman who got hit, the log cleanly taking off her legs (There was no blood)
I try to help her, and wonder about having mechanical legs made for her by the engineering club. She refuses, and we wait while are group begins walking buy.(For some reason we are part of a large group of people walking on this pah, into a desert
I can see down the road. A couple stop to talk to us.

I only remember the latter part of my dream, but here is is.

First thing I recall is being in an oddly small hallway which I have to crawl to go through. There are many doorways on the walls, but only one seems to be occupied. I go over and open the door and see a man inside a tiny room. (Normal sized man, small room)

He welcomes us (there are a bunch of others with me, 4-5, who I feel I have some relationship with, maybe friends? At least one has a feminine feel, but I never see them) and tells us to make ourselves comfortable because there is no way out. We can take any room we would like. I check the ends of the hallway, and there are no ways out. So we all pick a room.

I'm fuzzy on what happened next, I remember checking out all the rooms and seeing what the others put in there, but next thing I really remember is walking with some creepy guy. He is talking to someone who apparently knows allot about me. He tells the creepy guy how I can't go out into the sun or it will cause me to Time travel, and things like that. He looks interested.

Later we're on a boat on a river, paddling back to the keep where the hallway is. It's during the day, but the creepy guy has something that blocks out the sun for us. We are bringing ice back. Suddenly he pushes me out of the boat, into the water and sun. I feel something happening to me, so quickly get to shore under the cover of a tree. There are a bunch of people around whom I watch as I stay in the shadow of the tree.

Then a fight/battle breaks out. I feel compelled to help them, but there is the problem of the sun. I put the hood up of a black trench coat which I had apparently been wearing all along, and pull the sleeves over my hands so no direct sunlight can get me.I then grab my staff and go into the park like field. The hood cuts off my peripheral vision, but I am able to knock 2 or 3 people down as I go. Two women charge me at once, but executing some cool staff work I am able to knock them both down. I ask them to stay there, then proceed to capture them. I don't want anything bad to happen to them.
