    Second Reality Experiences

    Museum of Ancient Culture

I wake up for a brief moment and then go back to sleep, and am able to do a WILD

I'm in the middle of a downtown city. It looks to be about midday - the sun is out and it's bright. The clarity is fantastic. I can see the individual leaves on the trees. I remember from reading Stephen LaBerge's work that in order to keep the dream stable I need to be constantly participating. So I try to take in everything I can. I begin to run down the street. There are no other people in sight. It's like a ghost city. I come to what looks like an Art History museum. Behind Glass is an ancient statue of an elephant. It's a humanoid elephant and it's style was strongly reminiscent of Egypt, India, and Greece all kind of melded into one. I remember studying the details of the white marble and marveling at how intricate they were. I even turned away and looked back and everything stayed the same. It was that stable!

(I drew a depiction of it)

I walk inside the museum, and feel like I own it. I mean essentially I did own it because it was my dream. But I walk around and look at a few things. I see another statue of a horse belonging to the same civilization that was intricately decorated with a headdress and feathers. I am pretty amazed at the beauty my mind had came up with for this civilization. I feel like I could derive a whole culture just from the statues that had been placed there for me to see. I walk into a darkened room and begin to hear an ominous static noise that reminds me of the game "SlenderMan". And as soon as I begin to fear seeing him he shows right up - just as expected. I quickly try to ignore him and he disappears.

I notice a guy in a security uniform standing in the museum. I walk up to him and feel like he shouldn't belong. His eyes shift away from me, and he has a look on his face like he is up to no good. I tell him he needs to leave and he promptly replies "No."

That's fine, so I try to erase him by waving my hand in front of my eyes and hoping as my hand passes he will disappear (this has worked in the past for me). But, alas, it does not work and he is still standing there.

I turn around and see a couple of other guards (who seem legit enough) by a door. I wave them over and tell them to escort the guy I didn't like out of the museum. They immediately follow my instruction, grab him by the arm and take him away. I feel pretty satisfied, and then the dream ends

Nice lucid. Looks like a pretty solid WILD.

I like dreams that I just kind of do random stuff while lucid. Exploring the dreamscape and all is very fulfilling.

That elephant man looks pretty creepy, but it sounds like it was different inside the dream.

      Good luck on more lucids.
