memorable

All I can remember is that I had gone to this library to use their computers & the librarian was saying to me why can't I use my home computer & I said because I got easily distracted with social networking & would focus better in a library (I assume I was a student). There was only 25 minutes left before it closed & so she let me in and said to get some headphones hanging on the wall. Not sure what significance the headphones were!

Dreamt I was designing a bathroom for my late Uncle with my Dad, we're arguing on finer details like whether to have swing doors. Uncle argues against because he wants a mini telly to watch football on while shaving! Skips to going to a Social club we used to go to with my Dad, As we go in past the foyer there's this rude boy there who I make a smart comment at that he's trying to be cool.
Then as we enter the main bar I see loads of old faces sat together including people I don't really associate with any-more & who were from different parts of town & didn't really know each other.

In a car, drive past some girl with a guy. her scarf gets caught in the back tires & comes off, she chases with the guy to retrieve it. The guy comes up by the side of the car aggressively like he's going to attack me. By this point I'm aware I'm dreaming so quickly realise I can fend him off by opening the door and hitting him with it, which I do while shouting at him to 'fuck off'.
I end up at a house somewhere with an unknown driver & we're sharpening stakes to battle our pursuers which is when I realise they're vampires.
For this partially lucid dream I used no techniques except for getting up earlier than usual at around half 6am then going for a nap from about half 1pm until 3pm. This seems to be an affective dream/lucis dream inducing technique for me I.E WBTB.

Two goats pulling a cart break free & rush at me & Mum in the front garden. She tries to close the gate and get the cats in, I wait until she's past the porch door & shut it just in time as goat rushes & butts into the door.

The dream was literally what it says in the subject title, some yoga practitioners and navy guys won an award for doing some kind of chant/mantra correctly. Very hazy recollection of this one.

Thai weed shaped into Olympic rings, smoked one with old friend, felt stoned in dream. Lost them and accused him of nicking 'em & he was laughing. Outdoor toilet which was basically a step leading onto an open sewer..

I was next to this bear sat on a chair (sounds like the beginning of a nursery rhyme I know!) and behind him was like a cabinet with different herbs on each shelf. I was following some instructions to get the ingredients from among these herbs to make bear soup to cure this poorly bear as it was sick and kept slumping forward on the chair. I kept having to prop it up so it didn't fall off!

Think that I'm in Wales in a camper van or caravan with living with some guys & girls, some of which I recognised from when I lived out there. General theme was a rave/outdoor festival being organised. Someone I knew from my hometown where I live now was involved in the plans. And I remember him saying he'd been to the council & got permission & had a poster with some potential acts listed. Money seemed to be a theme too & someone I knew was also trying to get a cheque card from the bank but struggling to.
At one point I was in bed with three girls, one I recognised from the past and another who layed on me saying 'tell me all about it', but I didn't know what to say!
The dream then got really dark & it was like I watching a horror film where this guy finds his family hung in the attic (this was around the time that I first saw the film 'Sinister' so anyone who's seen it will understand!).

I've been very slack on here lately but am going to try to catch up on some dream journal entries that I've been logging into my phone with the intention of writing here.
I unfortunately haven't recorded the dates of these dreams but am just going to type them up in the order they appear in my phone.

Bristol/Jaguar dream

At a friends in Bristol (despite never having been there but having friends there!), playing with a dog in the garden a Jaguar appears, I run next door and lock out this Jaguar from the garden. Suddenly I'm in house and there's this mad bitch we can see through the window, she's going from house to house trying to smash in people's doors with a spade. She comes to the house I'm in with an accomplice. I call the police to tell them and they just hangup! Then I open the door to confront them, they try to cut my hand with a sickle but it's blunt but I vividly feel it going over the top of my hand. I wake myself up screaming 'Get Away!'.

Went to sleep about 1:45am after watching some videos on DILD techniques and reading some wikis.

Dreamt I got stabbed in the throat by this like female assassin/ninja with a really thin slightly curved blade. For some reason I wasn't scared or in pain I must have known it was just a dream.

Dreamt I was in this band a mix of guys & girls. Wasn't clear who played what though. We had a gig somewhere & we were hanging out under this canal bridge & had left some shoes & stuff there. Drove to the gig but I'd left something important under the bridge & had to go back alone to get it as they wouldn't let me in even though I said I was with the band.
I was worried about going under this bridge in view of some chavs hanging out near by as they looked like trouble so I sort of snook down there & got what I needed & went back. Unfortunately it was too late & the gig must have been cancelled & the band descended into chaos with some of the girls smoking crack! Can't remember much else.

Woke about 6:30am to turn heating off then fell back asleep

After all this unpleasantness the dreams ended on a positive with me being with this girl getting Ice-cream from somewhere. She was getting strawberry & I decided on apple even though I'm sure they don't do apple ice cream, but they should! The lady serving us poured some apple sauce over my ice cream so goes to show ice cream makes everything better even in dreams!

Woke up normally about 10:30am

As I'm on lesson 2 in the Orphelia's class in the Dream Academy I've been trying some of the DILD techniques I've read about so thought it would be worth saying what I'd tried before I went to sleep. On this occasion I started visualising colours starting with yellow then thinking about different yellow things like bananas & the sun etc. Then I visualised green and different green objects like vegetables, grass, lizards etc this was quite a calming mantra like thing to do to stimulate my imagination ready for the dreamworld.

Went to sleep about 1:30am

Couple of dreams in one this, can't recall much but am going to start putting whatever I can recall from my dreams even if it's not much.
I was at a house with an old friend who's been in the previous dream I had about the Jaguar (maybe he's becoming a dream sign?). Also there was my old female manager from a temp' job I did plus another unknown woman & various other unknowns. We were having some kind of dinner party but the unknown woman was going round giving oral sex to the guys including me then she went to do my friend & my old manager stepped in saying she was going to 'show her how it's done!' And she bent down to do it showing off her amazing figure in the process.

Woke briefly at about 6am, fell back asleep

I definitely was aroused by this & when I woke up around 6am to the sound of the radiator filling with water I was in a state of morning glory The rest of the dream involved us being around a dinner table and the manager woman (who I kind of fancy in real life & sometimes communicate with still on facebook), was serving us all these mini pizzas & I'd requested mine with bits of bacon on it & was being asked by another guy there what it was called to which I replied 'pizza della bacon'!

When I fell back asleep after being half woken by the radiator, I then dreamt I was in Ireland (somewhere I've never been) in some shit-hole of a house with two lads I didn't recognise from reality. Can't remember much here except thinking they were very stupid and when I asked to go to the toilet I nearly fought the guy because he wanted me to use this horrible standing up toilet which was just a drain in the ground! I can't remember much else about this part of the dream although I know there was more, maybe it will come to me in the day if so I'll edit this entry accordingly.

Woke up properly about 9:20am

Today I woke up earlier than usual after going to sleep later then listed in my workbook (mainly for the simple reason I couldn't get myself to sleep). Instead of going back to sleep I've reached for the dream journal to jot down one dream I can remember in-case I do fall asleep again & fail to remember it when I wake up.

In this dream I was watching some old friends renovate a house but they were messing about driving vans into the front and jumping out the windows. Then I was speaking to one of my old friends who I'd not seen in a while and for some reason he'd just come out of prison or a young offenders institute or even a mental home, it was unclear which. We ended up at his parent's house where he'd moved back to and I spoke with his mother briefly and she had a friend over who just happened to be my old work mate Paul so we shook hands but for some reason shook our left hands as I was washing my right one!

I remember there being a lovely view out of the back window of a mountain that looked like a dormant volcano and I also remembered in the dream that I could see it at a slightly different angle from an old house I lived in last, year even though no such view exists in reality.

Later on after waking up tried a WBTB from about 12:15pm until 1pm

Found myself dreaming I was on a plain in some sort of Catholic bible class and a Polish guy with a shaved head was getting us to read passages from a bible with him out loud and say ‘the lord our God hears us’ after each passage.

I was at a friends house in Bristol (even though I've never been there to visit this friend yet). I was playing with a dog in the garden when this Jaguar appears so I run into the next garden and gather up my friend, the dog, some other people including children and the neighbours and get them into the house and lock the Jaguar out. One guy in the house has a wound on his face which I ask if he got from the Jaguar but he says no.

Suddenly I'm back at the house where I live, and am looking out the window at this crazy bitch with dark hair in the street smashing at peoples doors with a shovel. She then comes to ours with an accomplice, a blonde woman with greenish eyes. I call the police and describe what I've seen happen and that they're now at our door harassing us but the police just hang up not caring!

So I open the door to confront them but the dark haired woman tries to cut the top of my hand with a rusty garden tool she's took from our porch (like a sickle), but it's too blunt and just sort of scratches my skin. The blonde woman just stands there smirking and I remember seeing a neighbour who I think was another old friend of mine's Mother just watching us out the window (even though she doesn't even live in this street).
I then woke myself up screaming 'GET AWAY!!'.

I know why I had this dream because the same night a strange woman rang the doorbell at about 11pm asking for someone called Simon & when I said no-one called Simon lived here she asked if anyone next door was called Simon to which I replied there was no-one round here called Simon. It freaked myself & my Mother out a bit as it was late for someone to be calling and the woman was just weird and shifty most likely mentally ill or on drugs.

In some kind of forest and there’s a wooden building quite large suddenly everything’s on fire so escape and look back at the burning building and some strange figure steps out on fire, looks like a burning Gandalf kind of zombiefied from the flames. Says something about how I’m fighting the undead!

There was this artificial beach with a giant wall and like fake bit of sea off this new road in my town. The wall was covered in graffiti and there was this lady who seemed like a council member saying how graffiti would be banned because of it.

Back at the old house I grew up in (2nd night in a row I’ve dreamt this dream sign) must have triggered some lucidity because I remembered that I could fly if I wanted to and that it was once a common dream sign of mine to the point where I thought I could do it in reality! The flying wasn’t like superman flying more like floating a few feet off the ground and in order to do it I had to do swimming motions with my feet & arms but still quite fun though. I was using this skill to fly over our garden & the neighbour’s garden to put something into their recycling bin because we didn’t have one. Also remember there being a tunnel leading away from the street with a big wooden door at the end that had swung shut & I was thinking I need it to be open so when I drive away I don’t have to get out my car to open it.

Couldn't get on here earlier to fill out entry but wanted to post about my dreams last night..
At one point I was fighting an old friend of mine but not on my own, there was another friend of ours involved too & it was 2 on 1, me and another guy verses this old friend of mine. This is appropriate because we haven't been great friends recently and also this other guy actually did have a fight with him a few weeks back which I just heard about.
The next part of the dream involved me being at the old house I grew up in (a common dream sign of mine) and there were a group of people there including my Dad & Gordan Ramsey, a famous British chef! We were all eating fish and chips and I remember taking out everyone's plates afterwards & putting the leftovers in the fridge. Can't remember much else but thought I'd record what I could here
