Last night I had two lucids- which I'll elaborate on after I explain how i induced them (requested)
Induction technique, before I'm fully lucid, there's a moment when I know I am dreaming, but I want to wake up...The best way to explain this is a nightmare, If you wake up before the "worst" part , then you have the same moments. Anyway, I get these but before I open my eyes I imagine a roller coaster. Once I feel comfortable, I open my eyes and that's where I amAfter that , it clicks. I am in a dream, anything else I imagine I do it with the same method. Close eyes, imagine, open them, start engine.
FOR THE ACTUAL LUCID DREAM
I used the above technique but I kept viewing boxes instead of the full picture, I tried again and the next time was a success. I ended up an apartment where I examined the walls some dudes baldness and tested my senses. I tasted a piece of chocolate which was the best. But let me tell you about perception, it's the worst part because if you have a preconcieved notion than you don't get an authentic experience. you get expectations. For example the smell, I had no idea what it was like I saw someone with a gas tank. So my dream environment smelled like gas. The chocolate tasted good ( I read on here the best food is within a dream) I examined little things...they were little.
The rubbing your hands method...
I do this a lot but the problem is I never realize I'm fading out of lucidity. The method assumes your dream is fading, instead of your consiousness.
With the latter problem, I stop long conversations. The problem with long conversations is I get trapped in a fixation like finding an answer to a problem, or question. Before I realize it , I become less aware that I am dreaming. I always remind myself to keep dreaming. Don't chase after answers, let them come to you.
