Username's phantasmagoric dream journal of psychedelic delirium

I had I fairly vivid dream of me walking along side a road in the middle of the night. It felt like I was in someplace unfamiliar, but I still knew where I was going. I was deep in thought about something, I don't remember what, and all of the sudden I shot straight up into the air. I was fully convinced I was in reality, so I assumed I was dying. It was an odd experience being convinced you're about to die but not knowing what's going to happen or when. It was a borderline nightmare, but it wasn't necessarily unpleasant.
