NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I'm in some sort of shop, I think it was a small dinner or something. There aren't many people there, just Elodie, two guys and I. We chat casually about random things that I can't even remember anymore. I have a really hard time pronouncing her name for some reason, I keep stressing the O in her name. No matter how hard I try I'm unable to say it properly. And yet It's easy in real life, weird. I spot a note for Elodie sitting next to the cash register.
"Hey Elodie, there's a note for you next to the regist-" She grabs my arm and drags me behind the counter and through a door into a long hallway.
"Tessa! I don't want them to know I work here!" she says harshly. I don't really remember who the guys were that were in the dinner with us, so I can't explain why she didn't want them to know.
She looks distressed, like something else is bothering her but she's unsure wether to tell me or not.
"Elodie, what's wrong?" I ask.
She runs away and I follow, I follow her into a room at the end of the hallway and catch her. She starts crying and ranting about something, I just let her vent. After she's done I actually say something for once that cheers her up, I'm able to make her smile. It was a really touching moment and I'm forever kicking myself for not being able to recall the dialog. -_-
The thing I remember best is when we hugged, I actually didn't want to let go. With most people I just don't feel them there when they hug me, but not this time, I felt really loved. I wasn't gonna be the first to pull away, so we just stayed there a little while. After a moment I could hear heart heart beat with my own, they were beating at the same time, in the same rhythm. (I wonder what that means... Huh...) I chuckled at the fact.
"What's so funny?" She asked.
I pulled away so I could see her when I spoke. "Our hearts, they're in tempo with each other, beating at the same rhythm."
She then chuckled too.
I wake up and 5:30 and am unable to fall back asleep.
