    The Gauntlet

I was in a large room. It was as big as an airplane hanger. There was no furniture.

Hanging from the ceiling were huge steel objects. Their dimensions were approximately 10' x 10' x 2', They were different shapes and colors, but solid colors.

I looked up knowing what to do. I had to avoid these objects that were coming to kill me. One came sliding across the ceiling. It could drop on me. Then another came from the other side of the room. It slid towards me, but it lower as it came towards me, so instead of threatening to drop on me, it could simply hit me as it moved forwards.

I started looking around the room and multiple objects started moving. I had to maneuver my way away from them.

Then the room started producing objects. I had to find stop button for each object or the room would continue to produce that object.

The room produced large plastic garbage cans. Then it started producing large plastic guns. I had to find some button and press it. I did.

Then the room started producing a small action figure. It was evil. It wasn't so much shaped like a person, but it spoke...eventually. It had a light which I ripped out carefully. I had to avoid a sharp point on the figure. I was upset about the point so I went to break it. It turned out to be a spear. When I broke the figures spear, it got mad and spoke to me saying, "You got me there, but now I'm angry!" or something like that. I continued to rip out a few wires and it "died."

    Dream Skip

I'm in an old condo I used to live in with my mother. It was in good condition, but a wall was coming apart and it was going to need work soon. We needed to sell the place quickly to avoid having to deal with the problem.

As I walked through the house, I looked down over the living room. It was all white. There was a computer in the far right corner with a display in front of it. It was like silly bands, but nearly a foot high. There were several of them and they took on a random shape in response to the computer input. It was a physical manifestation of art that my mother was working on.

I was surprised that she would choose to do her art on a computer, but she did, and she had set up this thing in front of the computer to change shapes as she worked on her art. The art she was working on and the silly bands did not look alike. The silly bands would all take on the same shape.

There was another computer at the opposite corner of the room. It displayed the same artwork as the other computer. Someone made some innocuous change on the second computer, but it made a change to the display of silly bands. This change would be a give-away that someone had played with her computer.

There was some issue with some people trying to kill someone and they were caught. Then three ugly, heavy-set black women sat down at a dinner table and tried not to look guilty, but they were guilty of the crime.

Sounds intense. I love dream games :p They make so much sense until you look back on them haha.

And the artwork thing is cool, I want to start drawing things I see in my dreams. Do you ever take any inspiration from them?

I can't draw or I would draw them all.

I started a thread that hasn't gotten any traction on dreamsakes. It's like a dream keepsake. The idea is that if you could make the things you dream about, you could be more intimate with your dreams. You could enjoy them more.

The Gauntlet dream was scary, but fun.

That's a really cool idea actually.

What it kind of makes me think of is, say you find some neat little object in your dream. You make your best representation of this little charm in real life and keep it with you at all times, say on a keychain. Then in your lucid dreams you take the object out of your pocket and give it a special power, e.g. rubbing it makes you turn invisible.

Then you always have this neat little thing to remind you of your dream powers, a cool toy to play with once you're actually having your LD, and a fun new way to do reality checks :
