13th September 2020 Fragment: Some segment where I was in a ship in space, like Freelancer. I think I'd bought a space station, but I can't remember how. Distant space looked dark, not as much as it should be in reality but there were only a few background nebulae. The station had a bit of a T shape and it spinned around its longest axis. I think when I took my ship to dock with the station, the whole station rotated toward my ship and stayed fixed in that orientation. But the station didn't look quite like one from Freelancer. It had more details and looked "realistic". I remember interacting with someone, either through a chat interface or voice chat. Fragment: I'm with Hnk in an open area, it looks like WoW but it's not any actual area from the game. We have a raid group with us and we're killing something like a dragon boss. I'm a warrior and I have T2 gear, I think. I'm alternating threat with another tank. I remember planting Alliance banners. When the boss finally dies, all the currently placed banners from either faction (there were some Horde ones too for some reason) change to the opposing factions'. The area looks a bit like Teldrassil. I remember after the boss is dead we run toward an arch of sorts, gnarled wood and stone? (recall gap) Something about Naxxramas, but it wasn't the "true" Naxxramas, which had some specific meaning in the dream. I talked to someone in the dream about this. Fragment: I'm in a completely flat desert (salt flats?). There are a couple of odd buildings, reminds me of BL in some way. Some dream characters, but recall faded too much. Fragment: Something about winning some kind of chocolate lottery or contest and as the prize I'd get chocolate for a lifetime. Some kind of chocolate bar. This tied in somehow with some kind of chocolate portals and rental servers? Notes: - A lot of the themes from these fragments are pretty well embedded in my head. Both games were games I played for a long time and between which I often alternated. - The chocolate lottery probably comes from having watched "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" but also just from an underlying desire to win a similar kind of lottery, but involving actual money. - The WoW dream is probably partly a reminder that I should talk to Hnk again, as I haven't remembered to do so for some time.
23rd August 2020: DFLN 24th August 2020 DFLN Dream: About classic WoW. On my gnome rogue, using a 100% riding horse. I'm in Winterspring? I fight some lions (but they don't look wintery/snowy like the local tigers should). In-line note: The night before this dream I had watched for the first time the trailer for the remake of Lion King, which I had heard of but not seen much about. I'm Combat-specced, I think. There were other player characters nearby but I don't remember any interactions, mix of Horde and Alliance, I think. Then Hnk messages me as I'm going to the town, which is more realistic and I walk toward a little shop in one of the buildings. Hnk was upset about guild recruiting. Some girl lied about something specific in the application to join? But apparently this was normal. I remember we messaged each other for a while, whilst I was still outside but in the middle of the town. Then I'm in the shop. I remember eventually I stop making notice of the chat UI for a bit. The shop is like one of those little convenience stores where you buy newspapers, magazines and play lottos, etc. There's a lady who runs the shop, behind a counter. I just look around at first. Something changes as I'm talking to Hnk via messages. Now, all of a sudden, the shop is full of "dirty" magazines. They are pretty much the only thing for sale here now, mostly featuring naked women with artificially bigger breasts. Most of them seem to be around my age. I find it all to be more distasteful than I normally would somehow. Then the lady at the counter complains to herself about how people keep going into the private areas at the back. I sort of join in and comment that it's ridiculous, people should surely know not to go past the counter. The lady appreciates my understanding of her situation and then I approach and ask her about something. (What?) And then I remember that I was supposed to sort something out while I was here, but I forget what, so we both take guesses at what it could be, for a while. I remember closing my eyes and resting against the counter while I try to remember. Eventually I "recall" that I needed to sort out some kind of prepayment card. For Hnk? But mom asked me to do it? The lady shows me a plastic plate/card with some information and I try to take a photo of it with my phone, which feels unusually big and unwieldy. The dream ended shortly after, and there were other dreams but I couldn't recall them. Notes: - This dream features mixed parts of recent life (classic WoW) and parts of my late teens. - In the dream, I vaguely recall having thoughts that although I found the magazines distasteful, they were this lady's business, so I made sure to not comment anything out loud about it to myself. This may be a partially direct message aimed at some part of me, using some role reversal as metaphor in the dream. - The chat with Hnk was particularly long via whisper messages. I only wish I could have recalled more specific wordings or details. - This dream felt nostalgic in a sense; WoW dreams are generally nostalgic anyway for me but they also tend to be novel, featuring adventures unique to myself and often in alternate versions of game locations or completely new areas. But the shop was reminiscent of when I would go to such shops to play the lottery in my late teens and I often did notice there were these types of lewd magazines at those shops; as I got older I felt like it became more common but maybe this was just a shift of my own perspective. Because of this, in a way, the dream felt nostalgic of how things were before everything started to feel sexualised in some sense.
21st August 2020 (DFLN Thread) Fragment: In the van with H driving around. We go through some industrial estate or warehouse district. We see people being gutted as we drive past, but we aren't concerned. We just think it to be in poor taste or something. Some of the characters that are being gutted, I recognise them from earlier on in the dream, feeling no pity for them because they were nasty; but I still feel this looks like an undignified death. Fragment: Some version of WoW, but set in a realistic city of some sort, half fantasy, half not? With H, I was taking some area from the Horde and for the Alliance. I remember going on some sort of bombing run and seeing diagrams of the region. I remember the Horde outnumbered us by a great ratio. Dream: At the end of a dream I was in some kind of classroom, in a school. There was a teacher and there were several other pupils. The teacher was first giving some theory on something. Some things like hardware and software programming were mentioned. I have some awareness of being kind of lying down on my back, and next to something. Then we're about to do something. The teacher moves, and I sort of sit up now. I'd been lying next to an old limestone tomb. We're apparently going to open it and examine the dead's objects of burial. Someone moves the lid open and I look at another one of the pupils, a girl. They don't realise it'll wreak and I instantly move my head away and breathe out, fully expecting a foul odour. But as the lid is fully removed, while I do get a whiff of something, it's very faint. This struck me as odd, but in any case the rest of the pupils started carefully removing items and analysing them. Someone next to me takes a piece of clothing from some bony hands. The teacher notices that something is off? The dead apparently has some kind of shawl, with a Discord logo on it and she says that it's impossible, since the body had been buried hundreds of years ago. I myself did not notice or see any such logo. But this leads her to suspect that the body is more recent than previously thought and now when I look inside the tomb, I see a naked white man, with fine white-gold hair, sitting up. He looks pale or lifeless as expected, I seem to recall. The teacher touches the forehead of the body to inspect the temperature and see how "recent" it was. The dream ended here, the doorbell rang and I had to go answer the door.

Dreams from 14th, 17th and 18th. Mostly just copied directly from any morning notes I made for each day. Some notes in-line with the entries. 14th: Dream Fragment: First dream? Some Egyptian place, a big outdoor temple. I remember detailed stone and all the shapes I normally associate with ancient Egyptian architecture. I remember night time but also day time. It was a fairly long dream. It was a game like world or something. I was Link from Legend of Zelda? I remember fighting winged obsidian statues (likely "borrowed" from WoW). I remember the feel of a controller in my hands though. Maybe a Gamecube or Nintendo 64 controller, but could have just been a Wii one, since the joysticks have remained fairly similar over the years. Dream Fragment: A dream I'd travelled to my native country but with my high school class, and some other classmates from childhood. I remember we were in a coastal area visiting something. I forget all the details. This black I knew, Milt, was messing around some exhibit area? And then we were burying smoe ancient and withered corpse that had not received any funereal service. We then surrounded him with rocks and then placed larger boulders on top of him. The corpse was on a small dirt incline, about 20 or 30 degrees steep. Then I remember a room, indoors but nearby. It was dark inside, but I can't remember what happened there. Dream Fragment: Last dream that I woke up with, a WoW dream. Was playing rogue as usual and I was together with a raid group in Orgrimmar. We were in a different version of Thrall's throne room, it was more like a mix of Stormwind in a way because there was a lot of white stone and it was well lit. We were all bunched up in a corner, waiting for Horde players to come. I remember we didn't want to attack Thrall until we'd dealt with most of the nuisance players that would appear. We had already attacked Thrall before? I remember feeling surprise at the fact that none of the Alliance players from the raid group were messing around. 17th: Scraps: Something about trains? Vaguely recall the dream took place outside and that it was day. 18th: Dream: The dream was a bit of a mix of Freelancer and other space games I've played over the years. I was avoiding some large blocky asteroids while flying a ship, and when I got clear of the asteroids I noticed a planet in the distance. I kept my course which was already on approach to it and noticed a gas cloud/small nebula formation appear. It was a green-ish dark mustard colour and mostly surrounded the planet. Like a smog coming off the planet. I remember the descent down into the atmosphere in some detail. There was some virtual interface element somewhere that, combined with the structures I saw, made me understand that the planet was mostly covered by factories and dense cities comprised mostly of narrow but tall skyscrapers. It looked like most of the surface area was being maximised for industrial output space, not for living. I landed somewhere and went to a bar of sorts, typical of Freelancer-like gameplay. People didn't look well off. There was a stereotypical North American "Trucker" feel to the place and there was an overall air that this entire place existed in a state of bare subsistence. I remember talking to some of these people but I don't remember exactly about what. It was night time both through the descent and while I was at the bar place. Dream Fragment: Some underground place, very well lit. There was a feel to the dream like some of the more dark and serious anime type stuff, such as full film-type productions. There were policemen with gas masks and they threw some sort of stunning gas grenades. I try to escape with two other people. We were doing a heist or something? The police looked like the Secreta from E.Y.E. but with typical blue and white colours instead of gold and black. Some transition or outside? A rail track of some sort. The dream was quite long but I was a bit too tired and I've forgotten most details. I remember two groups of people, and Auron from FFX. There was some cart carriage thing that went on the rail track...
Yesterday was quite a busy day so even though I'd made notes on waking, didn't get a chance to write the dreams on the DJ here. There's a fragment from today too. Last night I tried to incubate a dream about a painting I have on my easel at the moment. I want to figure out how to do these clouds like another painting I've seen very recently. Unfortunately every time I was in the process of visualising the dream and setting intentions to become lucid etc., my thoughts would start drifting away in a random direction and it would take me a little while before I realised this was happening each time. In the end I guess I just fell asleep, but had no dream that I can recall relating to this incubation. Either way, may continue to try and incubate this specific dream over the next few nights. If nothing else, it'll get me thinking about the painting. Dream Fragment, one day ago: My sibling T, driving. I'm in the car too, but on the back seat? It's dad's car I think, or something like it. Countryside roads and hilly landscape. The sky is a bit grey, but it's daytime. Looked more like here than there (old home). Someone else is in the car with us, not sure who, but they're of small stature. Female? Makes a comment on how good T's hair is looking. I think to myself, or perhaps even comment out loud about how much better the hair does seem versus the last few years. Scrap, one day ago: Fighting/shooting in a game. A mix of Unreal Tournament and a tank game I've played more recently. Dream Fragment, today: I was playing or in World of Warcraft. I was playing a female gnome rogue and was in the Wetlands, I remember the grungy and practically wet atmosphere quite well. I saw another gnome player, but they were a Horde character somehow. I noticed they'd spotted me so I used stealth and waited for them to come past. I opened with a stun from stealth and then after the stun I tried to manage my energy so that I'd be able to interrupt any spells as they'd start casting. The enemy gnome was a mix of a warlock and a mage? I seem to remember winning the fight but it felt like it took a very long time. No notes.
Yesterday the same as usual lately, wasn't able to make notes in the morning and then forgot too much. Managed to make some notes this morning. Dream: World of Warcraft dream. I was a dwarf paladin and I remember being teleported to the Scarlet Monastery. I was next to the instance entrance doors and from there I went across the halls, down to the stairs at the other end. I don't remember seeing any scarlet troops. I had a two-handed weapon, and directly to my right after coming down from the stairs was the meeting stone (which I think isn't the correct location for it). Across the way, where the meeting stone should probably be was an orc hunter, around level 90, sitting. I don't remember seeing or knowing what my own level was. I walked for a bit but then decided to get on a mount. In the dream, I remembered or realised I had just bought the 100% riding skill, and then summoned a worg-looking mount. The worg looked thin and sort of rough, which seemed a bit odd, but I didn't really care at the time. Starting to ride away, I could see with my camera rotated that the orc was getting up and then he started using his auto-shot attack. He didn't use any special abilities but each of the arrows was hitting for about 900 damage, which seemed to be about 10% of my health each time. I took about three shots in total, managing to ride away far enough but the last shot had hit me from what I thought was an unreasonable distance in the game, over 90 or so yards. I rode the worg through the plagued and sombre woods of Tirisfal and toward the Western Plaguelands. I remember the atmosphere clearly, with its slightly dead blue-green tinge. I remember seeing something in the sky, but not sure if it was the moon or the sun. As I rode the mount through the woods, I went past a ruined human or scarlet tower, but I didn't see any enemies or creatures anywhere. When I got to the area of Tirisfal that is closest to the Western Plaguelands, it was more like a volcanic area, more like something I'd expect from Cataclysm than a classic area. At first this bit was sandy with shrubs here and there, somewhat desert-like, but there were burnt trees and courses of lava. I remember it was day time but as I went further into this zone it got darker. It felt like it had been an extremely long ride from Tirisfal and I can't recall all the details of the journey. I do remember a number of different passing thoughts, mostly about potentially being attacked, but very vaguely. Going along a road in this zone, I headed towards some tunnel I saw before on my map interface. To the north of the tunnel entrance was a ruined building. It looked like an Alliance fort or barracks, but it was supposed to be a hospital in the dream? Someone, I can't remember who, suggested I go there, but I said I'd already been there or something. As I entered the tunnel, which had a car-tunnel feel to it, I noticed another player riding their mount come up behind me. I think it was an undead but he didn't seem hostile and he had this orange hat that I remember from early quests in TBC. He had a strange blue mount that I can't really remember very well. I checked my character panel and it said my mount speed was 140% with all my bonuses, but this guy still managed to slightly faster, probably at about 160%. He overtook me and eventually I lost sight of him. On the other side of the tunnel I explored a little rock island surrounded by lava courses and I heard the distinct sound of a character in stealth nearby. I dismounted and tried to find the player; it was a tauren druid prowling in cat form. I attacked and used kidney shot, a rogue ability; and before the stun ended, I used a cat form ability too and used a different stun, not really giving the druid a chance to fight back. He took a ton of damage, or what felt like it but eventually died. Oddly enough, the form effect should have ended for him at that point, but didn't, so the corpse looked like the cat form and not the tauren form. I realised while attacking that he was level 137 or something, which then made me realise I was 19 levels below that, and that was why it took so long to kill him. Other stuff happened, not sure what. I think I used some other druid forms but the next thing I remember I'm at my old home, as "myself", in the downstairs part. Mom and other people are there, but I'm not sure who. There was this man with no top on, a dream character and I think he was injured? This part of the dream went on for a while but I've forgotten most of the details. Dream Fragment: Something about power going off, but in a weird way, where only a few things went off. I think I was in the kitchen? Notes: - In the dream, my character level didn’t seem to be well defined but the mixed usage of abilities could have been a clear dream sign, as well as the dream-created volcanic landscapes. - Like with my other dreams that involve old known locations, this was also one of those dreams where the dream mind is starting to take more liberties with how the places look. This is interesting because recently I was thinking that the reason those old places were being so altered in dreams was a result of not visiting them for a long time, but I have played WoW recently enough that this theory doesn’t really seem to make as much sense anymore. - Plenty of somewhat obvious dream signs in the last few months, but not being obvious enough for me to pick up on them yet I guess. But that and some other general things about dreams through these last few months have been giving me a sense that something is progressing in a positive way. - The topless and injured man may have simply been a figment brought about by a show I watched for the first time the previous night, but his presence really was completely out of place in that dream, there was nothing else to tie the two contexts together. - I’m remembering now that in that part of the dream it was a bright morning daytime, though only a small bit of it came through into the living room, where I was. - The WoW dream was typical for a game dream, I didn’t have the sense of sitting at a desk or anything, just completely existing in the game, even despite the use of third person camera. In a way this is not too different from how I feel when playing games I’m immersed in anyway; usually it just feels like an extension of self, more than anything else. But it does make me feel that I’m almost too used to the sense of altered reality, which is maybe why I normally don’t pick up on dream signs that when I’m awake I consider to be pretty obvious.

“Jumping from the roofs” I am in a large apartment complex with Sadist Simon. We are in an attic room that protrudes from the otherwise diagonal walls, the windows here are large and fully open and just under the windows there is a small area of the roof that isn’t as diagonal as the rest, in fact it is almost plane. We need to get to the ground and there is a fair amount of distance to the grass below. The weather seems cloudy, but dry and bright and we are going to town once we get down. We exit the room and get to the plane spot. At first I look down and think I can simply jump it, but then I get anxious and nervous and think I will most certainly break my legs if I do so. We are on the third (second in Danish terms) floor and the building extends on both the right and left side, sort of forming a horseshoe of the grass below. Simon then walks out on a very narrow black ledge on the part of the building complex extending on the right. He does a small jump and land on a wider black ledge a level down before he jumps to the grass. I am impressed and slightly jealous of his courage. I walk out on the plane roof – very tentatively – and weigh my options. On the left hand side there is a series of roof tops that progressively make their way towards the grass out towards the road at the end. I make a short run and jump onto this roof section and find it smooth sailing from there. The dream repeats once or maybe twice, with increasing levels of anxiety towards stepping out onto the plane section of the red tiled roof and Simon constantly in a confident manner making the small jump that I don’t dare doing. At one point he mentions “I just trust that I will land safe”. “A weed field and cops” I am coming out of a forest in the middle of the night. Someone is with me, it feels like an apprentice, student or disciple of some sort. It is dark, and it feels cloudy – no stars. In front of me I see a long rectangular field, that seems recently ploughed though also with sprouts of plants coming through. In front of the field is a road, which runs next to the field and white farmhouse at the end of the field. The road continues down through the forest from where we are stepping out. I look up and see a couple of cars driving down the road taking parking next to the field, close to the farm house. What stands out is the bright blue sirens blaring from atop the vehicles. “Ah the police is finally here” I proclaim to my assistant. “What are you going to do?” he responds in a nervous and concerned tone of voice. “Well I am going to go and talk to them, put the cards on the table” I say, mustering as much relaxation as I can. I am feeling slightly nervous myself, but also recognise that there is really nothing I can do aside from being honest about the situation. So I walk up and find a couple of officers. One of them is a woman, I think the other is a man. I feel they are tense and uneasy, so I hold up my hands in a gesture of surrender putting as much as I can into displaying a body language of truce and no-harm as possible. The officers relax a little as they approach in a cooperative manner and start their spiel. “You are under suspicion for growing skunk, and it seems obvious you are guilty.” He introduce. And it seems fair in all honesty. As he is talking the fields we are now waling in have changed to accommodate several metre tall cannabis plants. “Ah yes officer, let me assure you that I will provide full cooperation” I start out. And then I think of a loop-hole. The officers think they have struck gold, but they are only interested in skunk. What they don’t realise is that all the plants in the field are simply cannabis/hemp plants and not illegal. “I do have a couple of skunk plants in the greenhouse. Follow me” I say. They follow and we get to the very end of the indoor section of the grow chamber. Right next to a white door with 8-10 square windows in it is a small square pot of cannabis. The plants are very small and I lift up the pot and hand it to the officer nearest. “Here is the skunk. Now as for the rest of the plants they are industrial hemp plants and as such not illegal, as you surely know.” I say and while the officer look at me confused and disappointed, but also defeatedly accepting my argument. I think to myself that they have no idea that I can get more than high using the industrial stuff seeing as my tolerance have been lowered considerably since my Ayahuasca exposures. Dream ends. “Get out of my room” I am standing in my room. It is a rectangular space, very bright white walls from the sun shining through the panoramic window that spans the entirety of the end wall. My door is open and all of a sudden my uncle Kurt comes rushing in. I get embarrassed. The room is very untidy, there is loads of stuff on the floor and both the doors to the floor-to-ceiling closet lining the wall opposite the window are open and it is a mess in there. I step away from looking at my closet and turn to face him and as I do my father comes in close pursuit of my Uncle. I step up and start walking towards them. “Get out, OUT!” I tell them firmly as I raise my arms, stretch them out with palms raised towards my Uncle as I gently start pushing them back out of the room. “Your room is very untidy!!” My dad starts, but I ignore it. I feel nervous and anxious, my heart is raising and my thinking seems flustered. I see this as an opportunity to stand up for myself and claim my own space, and do with it what I want. As soon as they – in particular my uncle – are out of the room the doors slam shut violently. I am shocked and experience a surge of adrenaline travelling up my body and I open my eyes widely. I look about as the thought arise this must be because of the draught, and as I turn my head even further over left shoulder I see that the window is indeed wide open and I get the picture that this is the case for the entire house. The dream ends. “You are the tank” I am with a small party of people in a typical WoW style set-up, though I think we may only be four. I think I am both of the people having the discussion that plays out in the scenario, though it is observed from an external disembodied POV. We are standing in a somewhat dark living space. It may be a combined kitchen, lounge and living room and there is loads of different objects placed on the tables and other surfaces around us. We have just returned from a raid or a mission of some sort and we have had success, though there is a feeling of excitement running around, a result of our recent experiences having been hairy and risky. I am discussing with a tall, lean (but muscular) and black haired guy. In writing this I think I take on the agency of the other person, though still from a disembodied perspective. I am explaining to the tall guy that he actually took on the role of protecting us. He seems a bit disappointed, or maybe surprised at this and we rummage around in the space and find a shield. I hook it on a 2D figure of the guy, who is now also the person and across his chest is written something along the lines of “Focus your attention on me, I shall protect my allies” or similar. I walk about a little more until I find a helmet and put it on the figure, finalising his initiation as the tank. Then I walk about trying to find DPS gear, which starts out with a black leather tunic. The dream ends. “My men have it handled” This dream primarily took place from a bodiless observer perspective. In this snippet I am involved, might even be leading a band of outlaws. We are on horses and approach a transport protected by a fair amount of warriors on horses. There is of course a medieval feel to the scenario, which takes place in a fairly barren – with sporadic blotches of grass –, rocky and jagged mountain pass. It feels like early forenoon under a sunny cloudless sky. As we approach the carriage the dream shifts immediately into the wagon. In it is a fat, balding, hedonistic and cynical noble, lying down amongst pillows blankets and mattresses in soft warm lighting. He is dressed in a soft grey robe of sorts and he seems to be gorging himself on some sort of food. He oozes content for peasants and lesser subjects. He is approached by an advisor of sorts, who explains that the carriage has come under attack, with some concern in his voice. With some arrogance, and mild irritation at the disturbance the nobleman responds “Bah! This rabble is no match for my trained men.” There is a shift in narrative. I am now embodied in one of the guardsmen protecting the carriage. I am standing on the road in the jagged scenery observing the carriage and horses driving away up a fairly steep mountain road. I am with my comrades and the noble and we have all been stripped down to our underwear – which is white boxers all around. In the air a heavy vibe of embarrassment and defeat is palpable. For some reason we have to climb a vertical strip of cliff, it is almost as a wall, as on the top it is completely flat and plane. From where I am climbing up I experience slight difficulty in getting up to the flat plane. A thin layer of snow covers the edges of the precipice and aside from this the planes are covered in a thin layer of water where the light grey surface of the rock doesn’t take up visual space. The wall-like cliff side I have just climbed curves backwards to my left and I get a vision of a castle-like town over my left hand shoulder. The embarrassment arise as a result of knowing that we now have to go back and report the encounter to our leaders here. End of dream.
I just had one of those "Stupidest Ways You've Missed Lucidity" dreams. I always wake up frustrated after I have a dream where I am discussing lucid dreaming with someone and don't catch that I am dreaming. Dream: I am in my grandparents house with my mom and sister. I also see Marie walk by with her new Japanese friend. They are all dressed up. I am on what I think is the treadmill, but it seems to have a computer on it and I am reading from a lucid dreaming website. (I don't remember anything about it being Dreamviews specifically). I remember reading a post where someone is suggesting using a "mana bar" to help them with dream powers. I think about my World of Warcraft character, and how she uses a mana bar for her spells to work, and I think, "What a stupid idea!" In fact, I decide to rant to my mom and sister about just how stupid I think that idea is. I remember saying something like, "What...like I am supposed to make this mana bar over my head while I fly and stuff. And what happens if I run out of mana? Do I crash to the ground? That's just so dumb. I don't need mana to have my powers. I'll never run out. I just need to believe." And I think I went on a bit longer to my poor dream mom and sister. Then I remember sitting down at the kitchen table and asking my sister to pout me a bowl of cereal. She poured cereal into my bowl and what came out of the box was just marshmallows and chocolate chips. I said, "Whoa, I can't eat this." And she started scooping it back into the box. I said, "Wait, you can leave a few chocolate chips." And then my sister tells me about all these coupons she got from a cereal company by commenting on their website. Of course when I woke up I realized that it was my own subconscious that came up with the dumb mana bar idea. And that I missed a chance to become lucid, as well.
I am writing this late at night, but I actually took some notes this morning so I can remember this dream fairly well. The ending made me wake up really early so I took notes then went back to sleep, but we'll get there. The first part of this dream I remember was being in a jungle area with a lot of wooden fortifications, tree forts, and things of that nature, inhabited by gnolls and some other creatures from World of Warcraft. I was some rogue-type character, and I somehow "knew" that I was level 1 and I knew my way around the area because I had "done it before," presumably as another character. This seems to occur a lot in dreams, and I should probably start looking for it as a dream sign, but that's a little tricky due to the disconnected feeling associated with playing a video game, which is what most of my dreams feel like. Anyway, there were these relic type objects scattered throughout some of the forts, and if you destroyed a few of the ones in a certain area, you could gain a new base, more money, or other rewards. So I was climbing around stealthily and assassinating a lot of the gnolls as well as destroying the relics. After doing this for a while, I moved to another area which was a huge frozen mountain area and the dream took on a new feel. I was now a part of a 5v5 battle in this area, a la League of Legends. I was Sejuani, which is odd because I never play her. After a small teamfight on top of a small plateau, I chased down another character who had escaped with little help. I can't remember for the life of me who it was I was chasing. It may have been Katarina, because I vaguely remember that it was a female with red hair. After giving up on the chase I explored a bit, still Sejuani. There were several wild white wolves in a rocky area and I just stampeded past them, turning to strike them a few times to get them off of my tail. I eventually came to a sheer cliff with a wall on the left side, and the wall and floor had many wooden "supports" sticking out. There was something valuable on the other side but the cliff was extremely windy, threatening to blow anyone who tried to cross off of the edge. I dismounted whatever Sejuani's mount is and suddenly became myself again. I skittered along the edge of the wall, holding onto the supports, and managed to get to the other side very easily. I recovered the treasure and began to make my way back, but suddenly the wind picked up even more. It pushed me back towards the cliff and I almost fell, but managed to grab onto a wooden pole at the last moment. I tried pulling myself up with it, but it ripped out of the ground and flew behind me. Now crawling, I was avoiding enough of the wind to get back to the wall. However, the wind was so intense that it kept ripping out the supports as I tried to hold onto them, and I nearly fell several times. During this time, I was "talking" to someone who wasn't there, and they made some comment about the reason the surface was so slick was because it was "good rust" and "bad wood," which struck me as very odd. I was about halfway back when it finally threw me off of the edge and I fell while laying on my back. I heard someone else talking about this bottomless cliff going on for eternity and getting infinitely colder as you fell, so I braced myself for the death I was sure would come and I felt the air growing colder quickly. However, it only really affected my ears for some reason, and they still didn't really feel all that cold. I could see blurry trees begin to move up into my field of vision, and I quickly realized that I was going to hit the ground and not freeze. My last thoughts were "Goodbye world," and then as I thought of my loved ones, "I'm sorry." Rather clichéd and deep for a dream death. When I hit the ground, everything went black and my back felt warm and dull, almost cramped feeling. And then suddenly my eyes opened and I was laying in my bed, hot under my blankets and sweating a bit. It was two hours before my alarm was set, so I took notes and went back to sleep. Sadly, I don't recall any further dreams.
Hello again. Going to try getting back into lucid dreaming AGAIN because I'm sick of having so few, badly remembered, non-lucid dreams. I'm a freshman in college now, but without further ado, here's my last dream. As with many of my dreams, this was heavily influenced by video games. This one was similar to Blue Dragon, a turn-based rpg, although with much more customizable skillsets and characters. I was there, although I looked a bit like Shu from Blue Dragon, and the other characters were Alisa from Gods Eater Burst, a darker skinned guy who was rather quiet and came from a bad background (I think he used to be a bad guy and we recruited him), and some other girl. I vaguely remember being in an underground city similar to Undercity from World of Warcraft and exploring the sewers and tunnels and things. In the dream, you could learn multiple shadows (this probably won't make much sense if you don't know Blue Dragon) and assign each one different skill and traits. I had one dragon that I set to be a damage dealer with some tanking capabilities who attacked at a medium speed. You could set whether you wanted a character to attack quickly, resulting in 3+ strikes in one turn, medium, resulting in 2-3, or slow, resulting in one powerful strike each turn. You could learn new shadows by finding spheres in certain areas, and at one point, the dark-skinned guy and I found two so we each took one. I got a dragon that looked bulkier and older, and he got a strange looking minotaur. I decided to assign this dragon to be a heavy hitter, so I set it to slow and started speccing it to hit heavily but with no tanking abilities. Unlike Blue Dragon, we were not dependent on our shadows for every attack, and we actually used weapons. Different types of weapons could only be used with certain attack speeds, and at one point I found 3 clubs with great stats so I ended up switching everyone to slow except the fourth girl, who remained fast because she had a dagger. I assume the shadows were reserved for special attacks and magic. At some point I ran into a "friendly monster" named Gyorco who would trade me random monster parts for rare items. He was tall with long limbs, slightly resembling a troll. We found him several times as we were exploring this large plains area, killing things for experience. Then later, we found another "friendly monster" who looked similar to Gyorco, however, this one was rather timid and seemed as if it had just recently mastered the art of speech. It didn't really seem to understand most of what we said to it, and it spoke in short exclamations like "Kill?" and "Scary!" A menu of my possible speech options popped up on the left in typical video-game fashion, and after trying Talk, Shop, and Approach (none of which had any real results), I tried the option that seemed like a joke: "I AM GYORCO, MASTER MERCHANT!" Surprisingly, it worked, and the monster warmed up to us and ended up trading with us.

I'm in a room with some other folks and we're having what seems to be a really wierd party. Everybody including me is super high and we can barely see each other from all the smoke. All of them are playing with some wierd fireworks, like they put them in a mug of water and they start emitting different colors and smoke. After a while someone's dad came in the room and asked about all the smoke, but we blamed it on the fireworks and he went away, but he turned of the lights in the room, which is really strange, because lights never worked before in my dreams. Anyways, after that everybody except me and a girl fell asleep. She asked me if i wanted to lights some fireworks and i agreed, so we went to the balcony and put those wierd sticks in two mugs of water. Mine didn't light, so after calling me stupid for not knowing how these things work she showed me and we both lighted them. Mine was red and hers was green. Next thing i'm in a gym with a longboard. People are watching some kind of fighting tutorial on a smartphone, so i decide to watch too. And suddenly i find myself in that video, only it's not a tutorial but the real thing. I'm in a forest on a main road and infront of me there is a sign, on the sign there is a bow and arrows, i take them. After walking for a while i see two roads, one that goes up and left and the other right and a bit down. I stop and find myself knee deep in a pond, i still have to choose a road though, my mind is racing. Next thing i know some kids are throwing rocks at me from a tree, so i try to hit them with the bow, but i didn't manage to do that. I have no arrows left and it seems like those kids are gonna kill me. I quickly start practicing a fireball spell and manage to do it, but before i could use it on them i teleported back to the gym.. I was sitting and i stood up for a second a girl and a baby took my spot so i got my longboard and tried to keep a one foot balance on it. I got bored at one point and a man came to me, he told me "You see those roads? Well by sunset you have to take the right road where it says fire and you're gonna be cool" Excited i rushed to the roads, there was a sunset already and i had a wooden stick which i was holding like a spear. It was like a videogame, but instead of choosing the right road i went with the left one. After running like a ninja for a while i saw a bunch of abandoned buildings and an abandoned football(soccer) field. I then remembered that someone told me about a party at some abandoned house, but all i could se was tall buildings. I looked around for a while and i reached a security booth, i went to the side of it and inside i saw an Owl with armour and it was playing Worl of Warcraft on a laptop. It saw me look at it and started flapping it's wings. I then started laughing loudly which i guess managed to wake me up IRL
Standing behind the van talking to a girl about World of Warcraft. I keep rewinding the scene to fix things. I’m inside the van and realizing the back isn’t latched shut, Mom tells me what to do. I reach back carefully and press the small black latch in (like the ones to hang things on). Mom wasn’t concerned, she was going to leave it open. Inside someone (Sarah’s?) house, something about a bag of half-cooked popcorn (the popcorn was inlaid into the bag) and another bag, I take it with me but worry about burning it since I don’t know how long it had already cooked for. It looks burnt already. I ask for a pill and go to the bathroom. I take it, but there’s another pill left on my tongue, it’s half of a pink pill. I think I’m being kept contained. I think something about Loki (The Avengers). Notes: Really cool bit when I kept rewinding the scene, I think I remember thinking of it as ‘going back in time’, but in the dream or IWL?
5:55 A.M. Cheating in World of Warcraft by jumping in someone’s server. At first it was a fanart site, but I forgot what kind. Then it was a manga site. A girl said something about manga for people who had read APH (Axis Powers Hetalia). Then it was an Instance that turned out to have orc enemies and I had to run when I saw that they were Elite. For some reason instead of just logging off (maybe I was too panicked or it wouldn’t let me), I Ieft the Instance and the owner was waiting outside and caught me. She added me to her friendslist as I warped out of the game (so that she wouldn’t lose track of me). …But it took me to town instead, and I’m in a Acolyte outfit in Ragnarok Online, female with the white hairstyle in twin ponytails over the shoulders and clasps at the ends. As I viewed my character omnisciently from a point a few feet away, I wondered if she/I was cute enough to get the server owner to forgive her/me. Bam, the server owner is right next to me, she found me! I quickly type in “Sorry =/” and exit the game. (I never felt like she was going to hurt me, more like she just wanted to talk with me about it.) Inspiration: Probably due to my increase in gaming lately, playing Dragon Nest and Inazuma Eleven. I played WoW and RO for a long time some years ago. The Acolyte actually looked like mine before she became a Priest! Oh hey, one of my old dream signs, immorality…

Yesterday: I was being held by a woman along with a few other people, before I get taken into a room. There’s a bright light shining on glass tiles inside, and then I’m made to leave after the women tells me something. I later tell the others what I saw. “[...] before she turned me around and pushed me out.” I was trying not to smile as I explained for some reason. Today: I was running away from a big monster. I was in World of Warcraft and ran up onto a ship(?) then jumped across to another area of it. The monster followed, so I took a chance and jumped off into the distance. I almost landed on a solid area but I just missed it. I fell down, and down—and then I woke. Note: I think the ship was golden like the one in Homestuck, and the monster was like a demon in Dragon Age.
[Sunday, October 14th, 2012] (Around 3AM and I wake up and remember quite a bit. I've been sleeping for along time. A LONG TIME.) <dream had more before this, but this is where I started to remember> I remember being ontop of a building's roof with a few other people. There is a small lake between me and the rest of the land. In the small beige-mud lake, there is debris everywhere and people scattered through out. Whenever I come close to the edge of the roof, a giant tenticle shoots out of the mud and tries to hit me. I hit it with a weapon before it sinks back down. Eventually, it becomes like WoW... when the tenticle pop's back up- I command the rest of my "raid" group to attack, and all of the people drowning in the mud all leap out and attack the tenticle. I begin to shoot it with some kind of range attack as this is happening. It sinks back one more time before I lure it back up for a final attack. We did it! Everyone is teleported to the dry land. There's a neat looking Mage Staff with a star at the end of it for loot. A few people "roll" for it- in a new way that I don't recognize. I leap from piece of debris to debris all the way across the swamp and as I'm climbing up a small hill to get to the land, I realize that I'm a low level but also the leader of the group. I walk up to the loot on the ground and try to right click on it, but nothing happens. I try to ask how to roll, but I'm teleported to Stormwind or some other city in real life before I have a chance. In this other city, I try talking to the Raid but realize I've left the group and that it was a Guild group- that I can't talk to since I'm not in it now. + I'm leaving town to go up Yarnell hill with my Mom and maybe Casey/Nathan. We're on our way up the hill, and we must have been walking. We walk up the hill faster than usual and we notice that some parts of the railing going up the hill have been smashed and damaged. There've been reports of someone vandalising the rails. We make our way up the hill and we find a cave. It's a giant cave temple- that I tell my Mom is a "Shaman Training Temple" inside, we see people who look like WoW characters all standing around, as if they're really Shaman Trainers or people to buy things from or Questgivers. We walk up to the middle of the giant cave/room and one of us talks to a questgiver. One of the quest involves stopping the man from damaging the rails, apparently its Virgil from McDonald's management. We leave and start walking up Yarnell hill more. Now I'm not with my Mom or Casey anymore, it's Nathan and Tyler. After awhile, we become thristier than ever and have to stop at a random convenience store. Inside, I grab a cup and fill it with a little ice and water. Its not enough ice though, so I hold the cup against the icemachine more and I notice how I can fill the cup up with ice without the water overflowing. I turn around and see a few kids I know selling some new drink ideas. (There was a peanut butter & honey snack- and there was a "Honey-Fizz" drink, as I'd like to call it, was handed to me. It was a dark yellow bottle of "Honey"-flavored soda. I opened it and downed it quick. It was AMAZING. It was one of the best drinks I've ever had. I made this known to everyone around me. After awhile of talking to Tyler and Nathan about this, I wake up. <woke up>
