    1. "Pulling Sensation"

      by , 05-11-2014 at 11:50 AM
I have multiple False Awakenings and Lucid dreams all of the time.. One weird thing that happens during any type of False Awakenings that I have is:

I will realize that I am dreaming in the dream, and I will tell myself to wake up.. Then, if I try hard enough to wake up, I feel this pulling sensation.. It's almost like my soul is being ripped out of my body.. That's the best way that I can explain it... Usually, when I feel that crazy sensation, I wake up..

I either wake up into another dream, or I will wake up for real.. It's nuts.. I read somewhere that someone else has experienced the "pulling sensation." Nobody that I know personally has experienced something like that.. I was glad to read online today that I'm not the only one, and not crazy. Lol. In fact, I think that I read about that person's experience on here, but I can't find it again...
    2. Disapproving relatives as houseguests for funeral

      by , 03-11-2014 at 11:37 AM
Some elderly relative of my husband's had died in our vicinity (in reality my husband does not have any local relatives). I knew to expect one elderly woman to come as a house guest for the funeral and had prepared for that.

However, on the day before the funeral it was not that one relative who arrived at my home expecting to be put up for the night, but it was several: all of them elderly female unknown to me and judgemental and unfriendly. Furthermore my husband and sons were not there to help me prepare, and the house I lived in was unfamiliar to me both in reality and in the dream. So I had to find new sheets for every bed in the house, and I did not know where clean sheets were. The bedding I found was really old fashioned looking, the kind one would find in an old person's home. But I could not find enough of it. I was fumbling around under the stern judgemental glares of my guests.

One of the guests at least was friendly: a former church member, Caroline. I do not know why she had come, but at least she was being encouraging.

Then I asked the guests what they would like for breakfast the next day. They replied "Nothing!" glaring at me even more. "One does not eat before a funeral! But after the funeral we expect a proper wake. You did remember to arrange the wake?"

That's when I lost my temper. "Why would I arrange the wake? She was not my close relative. There are closer relatives of hers locally. I hope they arranged the wake. But if they did not, that's not my problem!"

I woke up soon after that, disappointed to discover that it was already waking time.

My dreams can be pretty trippy but this one is especially out there.

      Key:
      My words in blue
      {telepathy in these brackets}

There was a lot of chaotic dream elements and I was learning how to accept and incorporate my lucidity into such crazy dream scenarios. I let go of any preconceived notions of what things should be and sort of plugged my consciousness into the dream with no judgments. Places came and went DC's did the same or entirely changed, it was a lot of fun.

Then there was a vacant lot with puddles and junk in it. Then I am hopping over the fence then the puddles and junk. At the end of the yard there is a 2 story building that is covered in tan stucco. I walk to the building and there was in the middle of the cement patio a "wall of perception change" which looks like when extreme heat ripples the air but if you walk through it the scenery and time will change drastically, of course I had to walk through it. I have seen these rarely and they are always associated with high lucidity and intellectual heady events.

On the other side of the wall is a room in ancient home made out of mud brick. My lucidity increases, I can feel myself becoming more lucid to take all this in. Everyone standing around is dressed like ancient Aztecs! I ask myself {what is this place} and get two answers back. Again this is not the first time I have had this happen. In all instances I got back a telepathic answer and an auditory answer. This time the telepathic answer was "Azteca" but I heard the word "Uzbekistan". Unfortunately this time I disregarded the telepathic and kept the spoken word but at least there were no repercussions because of this.

The people were all smaller than me, very thin (bony really), and some of the men had spears, clubs, feathers, and ornamental war clothing on, I could tell there was something special going on. That's when I realized the 3 dead people in tied into hammock-like baskets and they were all wrapped in brightly colored blankets head to toe. I could feel everyone was on their best behavior and I wished I could help. They head warrior(?) there motioned for me to go to the dead so I did. A woman held before me rose like flowers on a platter and I picked a flower off and with a string attached 2 of them to each persons hammock/basket just above their heads.

"I hope I did that right"

Then I saw as if it was another room, in that room, and the dead were standing their spiritually with other ancestors standing chatting about things at their sides.

I looked at them and asked, "Did I do that {right}?"

Even though I asked it partially in telepathy one of them looked at me smiled and nodded in approval. I was very relieved.

Then the room went back to the wake(?). I saw behind each one of the dead was a sort of trellis made of two long tree saplings and tree vines woven in between the long sticks, in which each person's personal items that showed what they had accomplished in life, were hung with string. I realized everyone here knew these people and I started to feel out of place and then woke up.

Scrolling through tons of pictures this is almost exactly what I saw. No big head or body adornments and this guy looks like he could be one of them and who knows maybe he is.
    4. The Quad Stacker (LUCID)

As I was waking up from a dream, I had that moment of lucidity that comes before everything is gone. Determined to gain that back, I closed my eyes and kept thinking about dreaming. I'm not sure how I knew when to do this but at the right time I just opened my eyes and *POOF* I'm on the inside of a department store like Wal Mart or something. I began running through the store, taking in the dreamscape around me. Everything looked so vivid and clear, it was so real. The gravity of me running through it was the only thing that felt obviously fake, as I was pretty light and I would basically glide and slide with each stride (LOL rhyme). I stopped in the middle of a bunch of isles and prepared to fly, but the second I left the ground the dream got hazy and I woke up.

Falling back asleep immediately, I find myself in the exact same department store. Without a question I know this is a dream so I start to run again. I don't run for as long this time because I had literally just done it, so I try to fly again. I wake up.

I guess my subconscious is realizing that the department store is no good because I keep figuring out that I'm dreaming. My dreamscape changes to some city in the middle of the night where there are a lot of brick walls and I'm walking with my friends. I payed so little attention to my friends that I can't even remember who they were anymore I decide to do a reality check, since I had just been lucid twice and it seemed like the right thing to do, and viola I'm dreaming again. This time I decide not to fly because I want to stay lucid longer and not wake up, so I just enjoy looking at the darkened city and the odd feeling of being there. I have a false awakening, do a reality check and wake upon becoming lucid. I go back to sleep and now I'm in a similar dreamscape except this time we're all in a car and the guy sitting next to me is someone I've never seen before. He's aware of lucid dreaming and is questioning his reality. I ask him "Are we dreaming?" (notice that I say 'we') and he says "I dunno man, you tell me". I plug my nose and have no trouble breathing, but since I don't usually use this check I'm still doubting it. Then I look at the clock and notice it change to something completely random before my eyes. I say, "yeah, we're definitely dreaming" and check my hands to reassure myself. We wanted to get out of the car, so we jumped out sort of...which was kind of scary. We landed under a bridge and he said "Come one, this is a dream we can do whatever we want!". I'm still unsure for some reason so I count my fingers and get 6 every time. I jump around with him and I remember thinking, "I wonder if this is a real person and if this is a shared dream!". I tell him, "so i this is a dream then i should have no problem doing this!!" and I ran up one of the brick walls. He began screaming at me saying that it wasn't safe anyways. I started to lose control and woke up.

Just for fun I did an RC and I WAS still dreaming, then I woke up again lol.
