    1. True Love: Unlocked by Water-Bow

      Inside a large indoor pool area, there is an extravagant show being performed with several attractive female divers, all dressed up with large winged costumes, and lots of sparkles, but definitely in just bathing suits underneath the fancy stuff. I sit down next to a glass table, mildly interested in the show, an announcer barely heard in the background. A cardboard box flap pokes me annoyingly in the arm, sort of stuck between my arm and the table. I lift my arm up to free the flap and move the box, just exactly as the announcer asks if there are any volunteers from the audience. He looks right at me as my arm is in the air, and waves me forward.

      Panic stricken, I slowly stand up and wave at everyone. Some assistants escort me to the stage near the pool, below the 8 or so attractive divers. I guess I wasn't really paying attention at all. It turns out that there are other volunteers as well, and we are going to take part in some sort of competition against each other with the help of the women above. One volunteer per diver. We are lead up to their platforms with very little instruction as the announcer excites the audience for what's about to happen. The diver I'm standing with is just about my height, and very tan, like she comes from a country where it's just normal to be very tan. Actually, even more beautiful up close. I try not to get too distracted. Our eyes meet, and we smile at each other. Basically everything she's wearing is sparkling at this point.

      She informs me that we are doing a trick-dive competition, and I am to go just ahead of her, and support her from below the water, while upside down as she stands on my feet. If she weren't so pretty, I would normally hesitate a bit, but don't even think twice. We get the signal, and I jump off the 100 ft tall platform, face first, and dive deep into the pool. Holding my breath, I feel her land gently on my feet, and dance or something, I can't really see. Then she tugs me up to the surface. Relieved, I take a huge breath at the surface as we swim to the edge of the pool.

      Round two is basically the same. Apparently, one team was eliminated that first time, and we are to do that again. This time, my shorts ride up too far for this kind of show, and quickly get everything back inside before exiting the pool. A few more rounds pass like that, with me just thrilled to be with this girl.

      Now, standing atop the platform, I notice we're the only team. It is the final challenge. We must do something difficult to win a worthy prize. I don't really know what to do. I'm lucky enough not to die upon impact when I hit the water, let alone do anything fancy. The girl up there with me just tells me to hold my breath for a while, and she'll do the work up top.

      We jump, and it seems like I'm falling in slow motion this time. I take a huge breath of air, but realize I was a bit too early, so I let it out fast and take another huge breath immediately before I hit the water. For some reason, I am immediately out of breath, despite the huge breath I just took. It's not that big a deal though, just uncomfortable, and I can push through it for some time. It gets more uncomfortable, but still bearable.

      The pressure on my feet from her standing on me is lifted, and I see her dive down next to me. I return right side up, but no longer need to breathe under water. We can talk underwater now as well, but that's just normal. She tells me that we've won, and has a huge smile on her face. She gives me a big hug, and then we both look over at a giant treasure chest that is sinking to the bottom, together with a large ornate crown and a really fancy looking decorative bow. I put the crown on her head and tell her she deserves it because she did all the work. It makes her look even more beautiful.

      Picking up the bow, I draw it back to full power and tell her something about it being a really cool bow. Probably endows the user with some sort of power or something like that. A look of terror quickly comes over her face as she reaches out to stop me from dry firing it (wet firing it?), yelling something like it's going to kill me. But too late, I let go of the cord, and the two of us watch the pressure wave float toward the treasure chest. It hits it, and breaks the lock open. That wasn't supposed to be able to happen That treasure chest was magically sealed, and only certain people were to be able to open it. Plus, the bow was cursed, and was supposed to harm the user. I wasn't even aiming at the treasure chest at all, I was more focused on showing off the bow than anything.

      Inside this treasure chest, amidst the gold lining, and shiny gold plated walls of the box, all glowing radiantly, is true love. Sweet, I've found true love! I look over at the girl, and kind of doubt it's her. She's not really my type, but what the hell, if it's true love, that's good enough for me. We hug again and look into each others' eyes, still speechless in amazement of what just happened.
    2. RCs, stabilisation + a bit of dream magic

      Dream recall last night was poor again, but remember one dream which was lucid.

      At the start I'm back home at my sister's talking to her neighbours about work and the benefit system, which isn't helping them out. It's a bit of a mix up because the characters are in real life families that come to the wildlife centre I volunteer at. I'm vague on what happened next, but I think I false awoke and decided to go back to 'sleep' to go directly into a dream again - I didn't shut my eyes, just lay down and ended up in another part of the dream.

      I'm vague again on the next bit, but a little while (maybe 30s-2mins) into the lucidity I decided to get tactile (even tho the dream was stable in its own right). I rubbed my hands together and I'm suddenly rubbing a girl up with a blue dress on. (Given my matress sheet is similar in colour, would this have been symbolic of me rubbing the bed in real life? Surely my body was paralysed at that stage?). Anyway I snogged the girl, which didn't really behave exactly like real snogs I've had (probably because I don't do it enough and need lessons, lol - for instance I had a 2nd date today with a girl I'd kissed on Sat last, the first kiss since Aug 2012). I false awoke from that, did a reality check - my finger never went through my hand but I could tell from the groginess I was dreaming still. I was in a clasroom tidying up. I was getting annoyed/tired until it occured to me to use some dream magic and automatically clear it up - rather than picking things up I rubbed them out (felt a bit rubbing stuff out on an image file using editing software) and cleared up in no time. Last thing I remember was hearing the voice of a teacher from secondary school, as I brought a pile of books to a desk in the corner (which looked more like a kindergarten/nursey/playschool than his classroom) and debating with him whether or not a concept was covered in his Business studies class or in Economics.

      What is intriguing is that I feel my technique is close to fruition. My routine is 25 mins of meditation prior to bed - it can either be standard meditation saying an anchor word like 'MARANATHA' or, in accordance with a lucid dreaming video I did, where your anchor is pretending you're comfortable in bed and in a lucid dream saying the phrase 'I am lucid the world is vivid'. I follow this with the second video, a subliminal induction video. The tricky bit I do at the end is saying affirmations as I fall asleep like 'I will have lucid dreams' and 'When I dream, I will becom lucid'. The issue is that I was too intense previously and couldn't get to sleep easily. The trick this time, particularly this morning was to say the affirmations 10-20 times, then drift asleep. I'm not sure what worked/didn't but will discuss this at one of my lucid dreaming forums in London tomorrow. Something tells me there's one or two things that can be trimmed out of the routine, but that I've got something good going.

    3. Crying for the Kids

      I was in a big lounge that looked a lot like a library I once went to a couple years ago. It was dark this night but it felt a little earlier than that because there was still some children awake at that time.

      I was a volunteer at this place and my job was to take care of these kids and made sure they were reading their books. I probably had this dream because my father wants me to join some volunteering work with some other people at a local place. It's not something I'm looking forward to in this horrible city!

      A few parents were here as well. There was a little girl who was supposed to read a paragraph from the book. As she started reading though, it felt like I needed to cry because these kids are growing up too fast.

      I also don't have a kid.

      Good morning, everybody.

      Dream #1

      I was in some kind of volunteer group. We were getting ready to go to some event. I must have been with the leader of the group. We must have been going around, picking people up.

      There were two girls with copper-colored skin and reddish hair. They were both pretty. But one was a lot prettier than the other. They both had a kind of spoiled-girl attitude.

      Both girls had been planning to come with us on the event. But something about the details of the event had changed. So it seemed like the event may possibly not happen. So the girls decided that they didn't want to come along with us and risk not doing anything.

      The volunteer leader and I got to the event. We stood outside some small building, in an area like a parking lot. It was a grey day, probably like a cool summer day.

      There were a lot of other girls with us now -- all either brown or copper-skinned. We all wore black shirts. The event was about to start, and we were getting ready for it somehow.

      Suddenly the other two girls showed up, after all. They said that they decided they would attend the event. I was really happy to see them. But both the girls had such a removed attitude, I was afraid to let them know too much that I was happy to see them.

      Dream #2

      A topless young woman in gold, mesh-like panties was sitting on some kind of pedestal, kind of straddling the pedestal, so that her legs were spread pretty wide. The girl was cupping her big breasts with her hands. The girl had tan skin, brown hair, and green-blue eyes.

      Dream #3

      I was in a shoe store with my mother. For some reason I was laying on the ground, face down, looking at the women as they walked in the shoes they were trying on. Most of the shoes the women were trying on were high heels.

      At some point, a girl walked past me wearing track shoes. The shoes had weird soles. They were like plastic, like just a frame. But the sides of the frame were apparently really elastic. They were supposed to provide some kind of extra spring in your step.

      I knew that only really serious runners wore these kind of shoes. So I looked up to see what kind of girl this was. She was maybe in her mid- to late-teens. She was really skinny, pale, with long, straight, blonde hair. She wore a kind of baggy, white t-shirt and blue jeans.

      I started to ask the girl what kind of running she did. For some reason, the girl sat up in a high seat, like a shoe-shining seat. The woman looked at me as if she were annoyed -- like I was yet another guy trying to hit on her. I was attracted to her. But I was really more interested in hearing about what she ran.

      The girl gave me some kind of half-attentive answer, as if she were trying to blow me off, but not be impolite. Somehow we were now outside. Most of the shoe store was gone. But the chair was still there. We were out in some lawny field. It was a grey day, and it was raining.

      I had been laying or sitting under some kind of table umbrella, which had been planted into the ground instead of into the center of a tabletop. I stood up. I think I was holding onto the pole. But it also felt like I was standing at the edge of the umbrella.

      My mom pulled up in some car, just off to my right. She walked out of the car and stood just outside the umbrella, as if she wanted to say something to me.

      The girl had pretty much disregarded me by this time. I thought the rain might be getting her wet. I knew I had an umbrella, and that I could go get it for her. I wondered if the girl wanted it.

      I must have been looking down at the ground. It was really hard for me to turn my eyes upward. It felt like I was pulling against gravity. But I finally looked up to see the girl sitting in the chair. She had an umbrella over her chair, and she was dry. So she was fine.

      But I still wanted to go grab my umbrella, so I could give it to somebody, just to prove to the girl that I had an umbrella and that I was generous enough to give it to somebody. I ran out into the rain, thinking, I'll probably give the umbrella to my mom. That should impress the girl.

      I knew that the umbrella was in my tent. (???) I saw my tent about fifty meters or so away. Beyond the tent there was a little more stuff going on. There were some RVs and things like that. It was like this was some sort of camping event that I was a part of.

      I was still running toward the tent. I imagined having given the girl my umbrella. I imagined her asking me how she should return it. I imagined telling her, "Oh, just put it in my tent when you're through with it."

      But I knew that I kept my tent locked shut sometimes. So I imagined myself saying, "Oh, just throw it on the ground outside my tent if I'm not there. Nobody'll bother it."

      I imagined my umbrella lying on the ground in front of the tent. I was actually worried that somebody would come by and pick it up. But I imagined myself as not showing the girl that I would be worried by something like that.
    5. Compulsory Volunteering

      Compulsory Volunteering

      I was in front of the entrance to my school's athletic center; this entrance consisted of two large double-doors painted a pale turquoise, against drywall that was painted a very light beige. Vending machines were on either side of the doors (not the case in real life). If you were to exit the athletic center and into the hallway (where I was standing), and turn right, you'd get to an open flight of solid stairs.

      The lighting in the school was dimmer than normal. I could see people walking up and down the stairs, and past me too. I didn't recognize any of their faces, which I could've sworn were kind of blurry.

      I did recognize one person, however - I saw my friend walk up to me and say, "what are you doing? Come on!"

      "What do you mean?" I asked. I was very confused. But for some reason, then I suddenly knew what was going on. "Ugh... What time is it?"

      "Eight".

      She must have meant eight at night, because I felt somewhat tired and was thinking about how I just 'wanted to go home for the night'. Not to mention, the lights were dim and that only happens when the school is closing down for the night. I whined, "I don't want to stay and volunteer for the debate."

    6. Something I needed

      I remember going to the Airman's Attic (see below) to look for something I need, but I don't remember what I was looking for. I didn't find it. I asked one of the volunteers to look in the back room, but he refused and scolded me for not volunteering myself. I ended up looking for what I needed at a store, but I still didn't find it.

      Airman's Attic - Most (if not all) U.S. Air Force bases have a building called the Airman's Attic, where you can get free stuff which has been donated by other servicemembers. You can also donate stuff you don't need if it is in good condition. I've found all manner of useful stuff there, including an infant car seat, a DVD player, almost new uniforms, and various clothing and board games. All the people who work there are volunteers.
