8th April 2021 Scraps: (chronology unknown) I'm in a ship in space. There's a Freelancer feel to things but things look more realistic. I'm flying with two escorts through some kind of debris field and when we encounter some hostiles I shoot one of my wingmen by accident at one point. My ship has enough firepower that it's pretty much a one-shot kill and a message comes up and tells me I have failed the mission. I can't understand it because the wingmen were not marked as mission-critical. I click retry or something but then I'm doing different things. Vague recall of a more normal Freelancer sequence where I'm in an Eagle and using Salamanca weapons. Intense manoeuvring. Some other sequence. Also in a game of some kind? Doing some kind of time-trial thing and there's a score multiplier that goes up to x30. It works like the DOOM arcade trials in a sense but the game itself is a mix of RoR2 and something else, having a more crude feel to it. There's a swampy area I go through and maybe some kind of ancient temple. The ambience seems a bit grungy and not particularly bright. Another thing, relating to the space bit. I am in some kind of station, it's advanced. There's a lot of green and black and I think there are many enemies. My relative power level to theirs is massively superior but it still takes a little bit of time to clear enemies. I'm trying to get to an access or lift perhaps. The area has a very open-design kind of look and is like some kind of massive sci-fi raid dungeon.
I didn't journal on here yesterday because it wasn't interesting enough to report (still wrote it down in my paper journal, though!). Last night, however, was very interesting. I'm walking down the hall of a large mansion (you know, the stereotypical haunted house kind of place) with a rather large group of people. On one side of me is a woman with fiery red hair swept up in a messy bun, and on the other side is Owl. Something doesn't seem right about this, and I start questioning my reality, trying to remember how I had gotten here. I need no reality check this time, as I suddenly remember the last thing I had done is gone to bed. This has to be a dream! The lucidity is really strong. I laugh softly to myself, touching the wall, my clothes, everything, marveling at how real everything feels. I stay calm, repeating "this is a dream" in my mind, trying to stay conscious. I look over to Owl, and half-hoping she's real, I whisper to her, "Do you know you're dreaming?" She doesn't respond, looking straight ahead as she walks. Definitely not Owl. It's much harder than I expect to stay conscious. I feel really tired, and want to go back to "sleep", but my resolve is fairly strong. Because of this tiredness, however, I feel as if I have no energy to try and go anywhere else. I decide to stay in this dream and see how it plays out, because I'm very curious. The group ends up in this big room. A voice booms out from above. I no longer remember the exact words, but the voice says we have all been selected to perform a task. Once our task has been explained, all of us are transported to our respective locations. I think I lose lucidity for a while, because I don't remember the task (I do become aware again after this). I'm on a beautiful terrain of flatland grass, the occasional tree. The sky is bright and blue, but no sign of a sun or any light source. I travel this way for a while, all alone, in wonder at the lovely sights, shouting "clarity" whenever my vision starts to fade (I have problems with going blind in lucid dreams). Eventually I become bored with traveling and summon a video-game style map to go somewhere else. The only location on the map is a fortress, so I tap on the image and go there (This is how I move around, usually. My gamer brain understands a digital interface best). The fortress is huge, meant for someone much larger than I, but also run down, crumbling. I decide to explore the outside first before going inside. Then, suddenly... "Hey!" I turn at the sound of my name. A man is running toward me with a smile on his face -- it's Denarius! [ Denarius is the name of a dc I've seen in many dreams.] I haven't seen Denarius ever in forvever so I'm surprised, but not so happy, to see him. He did leave me when I asked for him, so I did not forget that. It's nice to see a familiar face, all the same. First thing he says after this is "So you're stuck here too? I got bored with my task but couldn't leave this place, so I decided to search for familiar faces. I'm happy to see you!" He babbles on and on, but then I say, "You LEFT me." That shuts him up quickly. His gaze drops to the ground. "We shouldn't talk about that here." I continue to question him about our last meeting, and how he brushed me off so easily, and how I haven't heard from him in months, but he keeps evading my probing, as if he's afraid. Keeps saying he can't talk about it. I give up on getting any information from him and idly chat. I enter the fortress. The layout is insane, very hard to navigate, but I manage. At this point, I lose lucidity, so I barely remember it, but there are many people in this fortress, it's no where near abandoned. Some things happen but it's all so blurry. Denarius leaves at some point, distinctly saying we'll see each other soon. I become frustrated at not being able to complete my task. Somehow, this frustration makes my brain click together again; oh yeah, I'm dreaming! I recall I'm supposed to be performing a task here, but what? What was it? I exit the fortress, annoyed. I have the sudden realization that I'm probably oversleeping right now. This dream has gone on a long time, something isn't right. I try to wake myself up, but I'm scoffed at from a voice from above. That's when a huge creature crashes out of the fortress: twice my size, humanoid but so animal at the same time, with huge armor and angry orange eyes. It has its eyes trained on me. Oh, no. I have no idea what to do, how to fight something so monstrous. The creature is chasing me around, and I'm running as fast as I can. It ends up catching me, starting to strangle me, but I can breathe just fine. I once again remember this is a dream, and my options for ending this creature are endless. I struggle out of its grasp and intuitively focus all of my energy into my hands. My hands start to glow and grow warm. I channel all this energy between my two palms, making a huge ball of heat. I release the energy, the ball catches fire and hurls at the creature. The fireball makes contact with the creature. Instead of it catching fire...it immediately disintegrates into black ash. I realize my task has been completed, and I wake up. And just as I thought, I overslept. It was 1pm when I finally awakened.

My recall went out on vacation last night. I barely hung on to these dreams. But after yesterday, I'm not complaining. I do recall becoming lucid at one point when I was going to my old high school. It took a little while for lucidity to fight its way into my mind, but I definitely did get it, at least partially. What followed was some pretty sour flying where I flew a couple of miles and ended up crashing in a woodland area somewhere north of my high school, and found that I was unable to fly any further. I don't know if the area is actually there IWL. At some point, I lost lucidity and found myself on this pumpkin farm ran buy this crazy old lady. I can recall something to do with my college, and using DNA samples of dinosaurs to bring them back to life. I think it was a project some biology grad students were doing. Closer to waking up, I recall a dream that I was a young child. I was playing with my dad and he picked me up and started tickling me. I ended up kicking a glass table and breaking it. My mom and dad started having this big fight about it. For some reason my family decided rather than just having an argument we would make a courtroom setup in our living room and get my friends' mom to be the judge.
Dream - Lucid All I remember about this one is that it had something to do with taking a trip somewhere. I remember being in some form of mass transit, an airplane maybe? ~ Spoiler for Explicit content: I was giving my husband a hand job. We were in the porch at the house I grew up in. I felt him start to come, and it got on my chin. I felt it some more on my chest I think. When he was done, I looked, and it was all over the wall...there was so much of it in a big splatter. ~ I was in a room in an unfamiliar house. I was using telekinesis to control this thing on the computer. I was there with someone else, a girl. It was like I would try really hard, focusing my energy, and it would affect this graph that was measuring the output of energy. It was like a graph that measured sound waves. It would go crazy when I'd focus my energy. The program was made for people to practice using their psychic/telekinetic powers on. I could feel the energy surging in my system. I was really proud of myself for being able to do it. I then was pressing these buttons with my mind that were on the computer screen. Then, there was this face underneath the ceiling fan. It was a light purple vampiric looking face. I did the same thing with focusing my energy, and when I did, the face would scream. I kept doing it over and over. It was really cool to see how I could focus my energy. The last time I did it, I made him say "Ha!" instead of screaming, something I had apparently never done before. ~ The beginning of this dream had to do with champions from League of Legends. You'd play different "episodes", like quests, and had to accomplish certain goals in a given amount of time. You played in a building that had lots of marble floors and was big and elegant. There was one episode where you didn't have a time limit. I was in a house that I apparently shared with a girl I work with, Nicky. She and I shared a bedroom. I walked up some stairs and to the bedroom, looking through the door. The room looked similar to one I had when I was quite young, 4-5 years old. It had two beds. Nicky's was on the right, mine on the left. It was nighttime. I was apparently doing something that made noise, though I can't recall what. I saw that she was going to bed. I didn't want to wake her. She turned on a lamp beside her bed so I would have some light. I didn't understand why she didn't turn the one on beside my bed. I then couldn't remember if I even had one beside my bed or not. I was then somewhere else, not sure where, but I was inside the same building from the beginning of the dream. I was really pissed off at Dallas and Nicky. Nicky had told something to Dallas that had to do with oral sex, some episode of some TV show, and it was supposed to be funny. It had something to do with something underneath the floor, some phallic-shaped thing. Dallas thought it was funny, but I was so mad about it. I couldn't believe she'd tip him off like that, and that he, of course, found it funny. I was really pissed. I was yelling at Dallas about it, and he was getting irritated with me for doing so. I don't think I ever found Nicky to yell at her about it. I then went up into this big room with cream colored marble floors. It was a courtroom of sorts. It had to do with the "joke" about oral sex. As I walked into the room, a trial was in session where many people were being sentenced to death. I walked by a small room to my right where the people who were to die were being executed by a small guillotine. A woman was the executioner. I heard her say something, like "Off with your head", and she'd let go of the cord. I didn't watch the execution, but I heard the head drop to the floor. I also saw that another person was walking towards the room now. They were sentencing people one after the other. I went up to stop this trial. I spotted a metal cover on the floor underneath a table leg. Someone said I had to move the table. Dur. So I did, and I opened up the cover. There were these green stick/pick type things in there, like the ones you'd stick in a cupcake that had balloons or a number on them. I dug through them looking for the phallic thing. I found a slightly phallic looking thing that had a really big head that made it look like a mushroom. I took it out. It was somehow linked to this trial. I don't know what happened with the trial after that, though. I was then leaving the room and was really mad still. I tried to punch a wall, but it was like punching through water and I couldn't hit it hard enough. I tried it a few more times with the same result. I then approached a very large window, I'm talking floor to ceiling and quite elegant looking, and tried to scream to break it. It didn't work, so I punched through it with my right hand, shattering the glass. It hurt my hand so much that part of it went numb. I examined it to see if it was bleeding. It was just red on the pinky side. I was on the verge of being lucid here, like seriously, the very freakin edge, but I decided that if I wanted to shatter more glass, I needed to take another form. I was then on this circular golden platform that looked like it was in the sky. It had a wavy walkway that came off of it that went further up into the clouds. It reminds me now of an area of Etheria in KQ7. I selected a character in third person that I wanted to be, a champion (like in League of Legends). I was a character that resembled Sivir, but I could only be this character for a certain amount of time. There was a bar at the top of my screen made of 5 of the same icon that was slowly greying out as the time passed. I was then in first person again. I was then in the same building again on a higher floor. I was in a room with some people now. I approached another window and focused my energy, similar to my last dream, and screamed. The high vibrations shook and then shattered the glass. It was satisfying.

I was working back at the YMCA of the Rockies in Colorado, eating at the dining hall where we were given a full view of the mountain ranges. We had a new comer to the YMCA. A young boy probably around eighteen. The only thing that I can remember about him is that he was white with blond hair. Somehow he had manage to get into the subject of his dad and I have no memory as to how I felt about his story. You see, his dad was kind of an ass. Somehow he had managed to form some sort of partnership with an ice elemental that I will now name Eira. Much like your stereotypical ice elemental, Eira was evil. Or at least she did evil things; things that this kid’s dad got mixed up in. Things that his family got mixed up in. I don’t know the whole story but I got the feeling that his father alienated his family because of it. Anyone could see that this boy (who’s name is now Jack) had absolutely no interest in seeing his father again. But, of course, you know what happens when you speak of the Devil. Sure enough, a tall middle aged man showed up at our table and had a seat. Now this guy, I do remember. I will call him Herman because it was the first name to come into my mind just now. He wore a grey shirt and had brunet hair with signs of greyness. He was all together pleasant but his aspect clearly made Jack uncomfortable. Now I don’t remember how this happened but at some point the man got to talking about Eira. Jack did not like him talking about her as it only served to reopen old wounds but he kept going on. Then he turned to me. For some reason he had commissioned me to fight her. I thing he wanted me to get rid of her. She was now at Snow Mountain causing trouble and he wanted her gone. Perhaps he wanted to be out from under her thumb, perhaps he really did care about the trouble she was causing here. One thing’s certain, she was the cause of a number of problems and they would not be resolved so long she was still breathing, or at least that was the assumption. I ended up meeting with her in the front part of the dinning hall and we got to talking. I remember her aspect well. She was made entirely of ice but could still move with the fluidity of a normal human. She wore white and light blue clothing and had white hair. The only thing that I can’t remember about her is her eyes. She actually was not that bad of a person to talk to. The things that she did were wrong (whatever those things were) but that did not stop us from hitting it off. I grew to like her and she grew to like me. This, of course, was a rather frustrating revelation for we knew we could never be together. After several unmemorable events I found myself in a dark hallway. As I pass by the right chamber in the hall I see Eira there training for what was going to be our final battle. I had agreed to fight Eira to the death in order to put an end to whatever harmful enterprise she was pursuing at Snow Mountain. She and I exchanged a glance but never spoke a word to each other. I then went up to a chamber on the left side of the hall where I would run through several laborious levels of some sort of training gauntlet. I barely remember running through them and once I was finished I returned to the training room where Eira was and we exchanged another look. This was it, I didn’t care what she was, I was ready to say “screw it all” and be with her. But as I approached the training room to tell her this a man pulled me aside. It was Herman accompanied by the architect who designed the gauntlet. Herman told the architect that I was to fight Eira. Impressed by this the architect led me back to his room where he wanted to hear my plans and show me more gauntlets. Eira and I never saw each other again after that.
I finally had a dream not involving college. Hooray! I dreamed that members of my dad's church had put him "on trial" for some reason, and were holding the "trial" at the church where I grew up. I sat next to my dad, who was seated in front of the congregation, to show my support. My uncle who died last year made a surprise appearance in the front pew, and he started yelling at the pastor who was leading the "trial", and calling him out on a lot of crap. This led to a bit of an uproar, and Dad and I just sat uncomfortably. Eventually the chaos died down. Dad was found guilty of...something, and led away to holy jail or whatever. I have no idea. I tried to voice my anger, but my voice wasn't working. What was really interesting about this dream was that I would wake up in real life, drift back to sleep, and be back in the same dream. One minute I'm awake, and the next minute I'm talking with my dead uncle. It was really interesting. I think I can use this to help induce lucidity.
Dream - Lucid I remember being with a friend I met last semester, Windy. We were outside taking a Data Analysis test. The only way I knew it was Data Analysis was because my teacher from that class was giving the test. It was a strange test; we had to go to different "stations" and answer questions about the stations. It was a lot of fill-in-the-blank. I remember feeling pretty good about most of the test. Then, Windy and I got to a station where I remember there being a GIANT pair of scissors, and a measuring tape that was outstretched a few feet. Windy was trying to get the scissors to cut, but it was proving to be very difficult, seeing as they were so huge. She finally, slowly got them to cut. They severed the measuring tape. She had to go tell the teacher what she had accidentally done. At some point during all this, I remember seeing my face in the mirror, and seeing that the right half of it looked weird and saggy. My eye looked really messed up. I started to freak out, thinking my Bell's Palsy had come back. I remember asking my mom if my eye looked weird. I don't remember what she said. I do remember trying to move my face a few times though, and the right side would barely move. ~ I then woke up, and decided as I was drifting back off that I was going to become lucid. I felt my body fall asleep, and I entered another dream. Windy was there again. It took me a minute to get my bearings, but I remembered I needed to reality check. I did my finger count, and ended up with 8 or 9 fingers. I was dreaming! I said to Windy "Windy...look at your hands!" She did indeed look at them, and a look of wonder came over her face. "I have 6 fingers!", she said. "It's because you're dreaming!", I replied. She laughed and said something else, though I can't remember exactly what it was. I then remember us having to rescue all these people who were in prison who were innocent. We started the mission, but I woke up. Or at least I thought I did. I was still dreaming as I woke up standing in some room. Some guy was in there with me. He was talking, though I can't remember what he was saying. I closed my eyes and "fell back asleep" into the dream I had been in before and was immediately lucid. I was outside somewhere. I kept examining my hands and rubbing them together to ensure that I stayed lucid and aware. Sometimes, though, I counted 5 fingers and would have to redo my check. Anyway, I wanted to walk on some clouds. I saw some light blue and purple-tinted clouds spilling over the ground, and started to approach them. I climbed up the low, spilling clouds as if they were solid. I remember wanting some special boots to walk on them with, and I remember then having them. I then "woke up" in the other dream again. I "fell back asleep" and continued my lucid dream. I was then on the ground again, and I think Windy was there. I remember wanting her to fly with me, but I never asked her to. I remember her laughing as I took off. I started to climb higher and higher into the air. I started to feel like I was going too high and the dream would get lost, so I lowered myself a bit and watched the ground below me. I remember seeing lots of clouds covering a pale blue and pale purple-lit land. The land then started to disappear until there were only clouds. It was then a cloud world-type place. As I flew, I spotted little islands in the clouds. It was a very beautiful sight. I remember trying to land on an island, but I was flying too fast or something and couldn't get my timing right to land. Another "wake up" in the other dream. "Fell back asleep". I was then on the ground. I tried to remember some of my lucid goals, but they were so hard to access. I remembered then that I wanted to try to get to Teraluna with my new portal system. I couldn't find a wall anywhere, so decided to try to draw one in midair. *Sigh*...another "wake up" and "falling back to sleep" episode. The next thing I remember is we had rescued all of the innocent prisoners from before. I can't really remember how we did it, I just knew that we had done it. I remember seeing some in a cave with some water running through it. Their prison cell was behind them. ~ I was going to have to go to trial...about my mom's oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I was appealing a decision that had already been made against my mom. Something about the cookies being misleadingly unhealthy or something to that effect. The person filing against my mom? My first real boyfriend's mom, R. I remember preparing for the case, which was going to take place in my old high school's auditorium on the stage. I remember not understanding wtf was going on, and why R would do this. It was extremely stupid. I then remember being on the stage, sitting in a chair. I had a lawyer behind me, and R, also sitting in a chair, had a Lawyer behind her as well. There was no judge or jury present, it was just us 4. I remember R presenting her case. She had a tray full of different kinds of cookies. There were a few that looked old and dark brown. I thought those must be my mom's. I thought "Wait...mom hadn't baked cookies for her in months...those must be from the last trial!". I interrupted R and said "Aren't those cookies from the last time?", to which she replied "Yes..." I then yelled "Then that evidence doesn't count! That doesn't count!" I remember her trying to go on about how my mom bakes cookies for her every week and a half. I yelled "Well, if you don't like them or whatever, why do you keep taking them from my mom? Why don't you just ask her to stop baking for you?" She just looked at me with this sad, pitiful look on her face. She said something about needing the money. I started going into a rage and started throwing things at her while screaming at her at the same time. I remember some small, chubby child with glasses being there too. I threw stuff at her as well. I was fucking pissed. I then remember being on some ride. I was sitting in a chair as it went through this flooded hallway. It was about to go down one passage, but a voice said that it couldn't, because it was a dead end. It had to go down some stairs instead. It was supposed to pretend to kill you. I remember someone else being there, I'm pretty sure it was Ryan. I had ridden it before, and knew it was all a part of the ride, but he didn't. He thought I was really going to die. I didn't tell him otherwise, I just decided to let him find out. The chair took my down the flooded stairs. I ended up at the bottom, and pretended to be dead. Something then happened, something involving an airplane, someone trying to act like this puppet thing was real (it wasn't very convincing). I don't remember details of this part. It was really weird. It was kind of like a video game boss in a way.

So I'm having a series of these FA's. I wake up in my old room, and it's pitch black but I know somethings in my bed. I try moving and immediately feel something bite down on my arm. Same happens over and over, but each time I more details on what's doing it. Every time there's two lions (one male one female) and a bear in my bed, and they're just ready for me to panic and make a sudden movement. Growling, roaring and then biting down on my left arm or left leg. Sometimes there's just one or the other, but either way the same thing happened. Wake up, noticed something was there, GROOOOOWL, followed by teeth in my arm or leg. Eventually I get up and I cool out, and the lion and lioness are just just pacing the bed, waiting for me to make any sudden movements, and I don't. I slowly make my way out of bed, and they follow me and enter the bathroom before I do. I close the bathroom door on them and lock the door, and it's followed by another FA. *I'm back in my bed again with the animals around me, but this time the lights are on, and all of them are being nice to me. I'm petting them etc, and the recall gets kinda hazy around here, but I find myself fighting on another planet. I'm along side someone in a green space suit and some spider like robot that creates barriers and is firing lazers at some monstrosity of a machine. We're just unloading rounds on it, and the spider keeps rebuilding shields and pulling in all of it's legs into it and rolling around dodging the really big missiles. Suddenly the huge green machine of death starts flashing this red ray that shoots everywhere, but it doesn't do anything visible damage. *I feel my skin tingling, and the guy in the suit says "you have to get out of here now", and he threw me a mask. *I stopped and said "I'm not leaving without you two". The guy urged me to leave, and I started running while covering my face with the mask. I don't know what was going on with my skin, but I had this feeling like something awfully bad was going to happen. I started breathing from the mask, and woke up in my old room again. "You're kidding me!?" I said to myself. The animals weren't there this time, and I had this wtf feeling about everything that was going on, so i decided to check my arms and legs. *Lo and behold, I had the same cuts and puncture wounds from the bear, the lion and the lioness. *My pants were ripped and there were parts where skin were hanging off and everything. *The wounds looked like they had several days to heal up. My brother came in, and started talking to me. "So you're a Galactic Sentinel now huh, I heard you passed the test". I said "so all of that stuff was real"? "Yup", he said. Still looking at my wounds, I started telling him about the different animals that were in here with me. He told me he was thinking about taking the test to become one himself. He had this old early 20th century styled book with him that was about Galactic Sentinels that he started flipping through. I walked out of my room, and checked the bathroom for animals totally expecting something to be in there as the dream faded.

I hop on a bus with a duffel bag and a backpack, headed out to Halifax. I arrive at the hostel. There's a book sale in one of the rooms. I gravitate toward the back corner and recognize the cover for a Sherlock Holmes collection. I open it up, pleasantly surprised to find the book full of illustrations. I head over to another corner by the windows and flip through a few children's books for reference. The illustrations in every book are watercolour and ink or acrylic and ink. They have a grainy, spooky tone to them and some of the watercolour scenes are brilliant. I pick out a few and head to cash. "You've got two books there?" I glance down at the pile in my arms. "More than that," I say. She rolls her eyes. "I'm charging you for five, then. Your total is $4.25." I hand her a five dollar bill and get three quarters back. Looking at the pile again, I realize that there's actually six books, but one is only a few torn out pages. Fair enough, I decide. I head back to my room to pack. I'm looking at a shelf full of food and wondering when I found the time to buy all of this. I pack it away (bread goes squish) along with the books. It's a perfect fit, but I'm going to be annoyed travelling with all this luggage. Chel, a girl who was a grade above me in high school, arrives as I'm leaving. We have an excited conversation involving the odds of meeting up on the other side of the country. I decide to stop in Quickton before heading to Vancouver. For a break in a long goddamn bus ride, if nothing else. The bus station by the Westin is suddenly a part of Ixburg. *** In Quickton, grocery shopping. Sprained left leg, hobbling along, wondering where my crutches went. I limp along on my left ankle after I get tired of hopping. It hurts, but it could be worse. I talk to my late grandma. *** Still in Quickton, I'm on trial as a witch. The woman accusing me is a made up character who, apparently, went to high school with me. I spend most of the trial resisting the urge to burn her alive via dream-powers. Apparently that wouldn't help my case much. I'm defending myself; no lawyers allowed. I catch the woman in the middle of a lie and ruthlessly pounce on it, drawing out answers that prove she wasn't where she said she was. Something about flowers that are yellow and in a pot. Daisies, probably. I'm not sure if my argument's had any effect on the jury yet, so when the Judge asks me about the green lightsaber they have in custody, I immediately reply, "My lightsabers aren't green." I consider summoning my dual sabers to the courtroom, but again, supernatural powers are not what anyone needs to see right now. I go into a tangent, wondering what my colour actually is. Purple is tempting, and I've always been partial to red and blue, but orange is pretty close and I'm not genuinely Sith-like (far too dogmatic for me). I don't really like orange much, though. I swing a couple orange sabers around in the hallway just to try them out. I'm sitting back in my box with my arch-nemesis a couple places down, wondering if the trial can adjourn for the day. It's almost five and I'm bored. We all go home for the night. I've been released into the custody of my parents, so I'm walking into a bigger version of their house, kicking off my shoes as I go. I'm picking up a piece of paper that might be an assassination contract a la Assassin's Creed. Unfortunately, without some serious creativity, I won't be able to collect on it. I'm supposed to stay here, after all... Witch Trials. Scare Factor: 2. Reaction: I think I was completely guilty of everything I was accused of.[/QUOTE]
