I dreamed I was in school, as in college. But it was a weird school and I forgot quite what class I was taking. And I had an assignment to go pick a certain type of plant that grew wild in the area(the 'school' itself was a cabin somewhere I think I had classmates but I don't remember them well). So I went out to pick the plants, but the as I drove up to the field I was going to take them from, I saw that a storm was coming. The sky got darker and darker and I saw streaks of lightning. I wasn't lucid but I was aware enough to know that I, picking the plants in that field, would be the tallest object around and that was dangerous. So I shot a quick video on my phone showing the sky and lightning and explaining that would not be completing the assignment on time(it was due that evening for some reason) because it just wasn't safe. Back at the school, I showed the video as evidence to the teacher, who said I could it later, no problem. A classmate who had gone somewhere else to pick the plants gave hers to the teacher. I wandered away to play with a small dog on the cabin's porch. --- Cut to me at my retail job. I was still somehow in the cabin but it looked a little more like a storefront now. I went to the register to ring a guy up. I forgot what he was buying aside from a magazine. The guy was friendly and quite good-looking and I was talking to him, I forget about what. Then I noticed that the magazine was called Transmasc, short for trans masculine. So am I. I wanted to strike up a conversation based on that, but I wasn't out in the dream just like in real life, so I kept quiet within earshot of my coworkers. For the last few seconds of the dream, after the guy had left, I was staring at the magazine display and trying to figure out an excuse for buying a remaining copy of Transmasc that wouldn't look weird.
6th February 2022 Different fragments: - In space, arriving in a ship near a nebula of some kind, with a planet inside and also another star nearby in a different nebula. I mistake the planet for the star a couple of times? I never see either of them up-close and the ship itself is never closer than a light-year in distance. - With H in some house. Daytime and light comes in from the windows, I don't recall seeing outside. Get the impression of a flat and that it belongs to someone else, a friend? There's a cupboard full of biscuits or something, including Belgian chocolate-covered wafers. I think I spot some dark chocolate ones, only to find out they're actually regular chocolate on a closer look, though I then do see some dark chocolate ones and take one. - I do something semi-sexual with H, approaching from behind. - An area with semi-detached houses. Can't remember who else is here but the queen of England is visiting the area. She's on her own with no entourage accompanying her. She's here to visit someone specifically and they don't seem to know each other very well. They have a short and amusing exchange and then start walking down the street together. There's a couple of other people relevant to what's going on and the sound then shifts focus to being on them. - Possibly linked directly with one of the other bits. In a large cave, like something out of Dark Souls. I fight a relatively small dragon and some humanoid as well as other enemies I can't recall. My weapons are frequently breaking but the enemies I kill also drop two-handed weapons fairly often. 12th February 2022 8:00 Fragment: A store, under it there's some cave I've been to before in the dream. It has lost and ancient things. It's dark, though not very much. One of the things here is a giant anthro's skull. It's big enough that I would be able to fit inside its throat area and I remark on this to (I think) H. I try to take it back up to the store. I find a savage native on the way back and he gets spooked by the skull in some way. I try to do something silly or funny but he doesn't seem interested in that. Then, at the store, something about a magazine. (recall gap) In a version of our kitchen. It's tidy and also not in a different kind of way. H just took some poison he asked me to give him. This happened once before in the dream. He doesn't remember this happening before and is now asking me to give him the antidote. I think to myself that it should be in a drawer. I end up looking everywhere and being unable to find it, which makes me explore the kitchen around a bit. (details faded but it was a long dream, might have had micro-woken up a couple of times through it) 9:30? Fragment: (last bit of a dream) Going down a stairwell in an apartment building like old home. Mom is with me and maybe someone else like T. The stairwell is square-ish with a hole/gap in the centre. As we get to the bottom level, a woman comes out of her apartment and starts talking to us. She's a little bit, not flustered, maybe excited and she touches up her breasts and says something about her clothes. Rather than just walk away, I give her some attention. Recall is fuzzy but I notice that she has a bulge around her crotch area and she reveals that she had been a man and kept these bits. But I find this odd, unusual and somewhat implausible, because on closer look her facial and bone structures seem more consistent with someone who's always been female. So I think to myself that actually she was just born with both sets of genitals and that this was a cover story that made it "easier" to explain. Mom is gone pretty early on before this happens and T becomes or is replaced by H. I think that H might be feeling jealous or something.
12/3/2011 I'm trying to figure out how to climb onto the ship. It's not easy. I do a lot of climbing on ladders and lifeboats. It's a big wooden ship with sails. I do the ritual to become clan leader. Now I have fur all over my face, like the other cat people. The other guy says he'd been planning to become clan leader and is disappointed, but he never did anything about it. There's a funeral. I'm sitting at a table with half a dozen people. M is missing. I go look for him. It's a university. I saw him a minute ago, but I can't find him, just the crowd of students going by. I'm in the library or a computer lounge. I do an assignment for M, involving finding pictures of things online, but I can't figure out how to save it or turn it in, so I just log out and lose the work. My music has been playing loudly. I just now realize it probably is bothering others. It's Japanese pop. I'm in a greenhouse sort of building. There's not a bunch of plants, but it's all glass and curves at the top. There are other students here. A guy comes in and tells us its the soap that's been causing the itching thing. He talks about something by gender, including trans as a category.
7/11/2011 I'm shopping with my brother D to get a watergun. I get a flashlight instead. I also find a magazine with an article about a transgender person who wears an outfit that looks like Guy's swinsuit costume (from Tales of the Abyss). D and I carry stuff from the shopping cart to the checkout. I realize I forgot the magazine and go back for it, but the next person starts checking out before I get back, and I have to wait. I realize the magazine I'm holding is some cheap thing that doesn't even have any pages. I drop it on the floor and leave. I'm shopping at a different store. I see a cute green scarf and try it on. It's got something weird at one end. Staff lady tells me it's a hood. I tell her I'm looking for something more masculine. At the front of the store, a staff guy asks us to play poker. It's $3 ante. I get dealt three aces, but D bets a lot of money (I see 10's and 20's). I am pretty sure I could win, but I do NOT want to gamble that much. I fold, very annoyed. The other guy matches. They both have a pair of fives. D wins because of his other cards. I am VERY annoyed. There was something about a kid and a bridge and a mafia type guy, but I don't remember. I felt quite sleepy after waking, and when I noticed I was drifting back to sleep, I let it happen, deciding to try a WILD. I'm lying in bed, unable to move. I see vivid images of the room around me. At one point I am rotating (or the world is). I 'hit' the furniture and go right through. The room around me changes several times. One time, it was my grandparent's house. I saw J playing with his dog on the couch. They played tug of war with a potato. One room had a huge fireplace. I'm finally able to move. I'm floating. I drift down the hall. I try going through a bit of wall, but it doesn't quite work. I try spinning a few times. I'm playing a game like Commander Keen. I go to an area and press a lever. Then I do the first area over again and there are lots of monsters. I barely get through. I am using a playstation controller and can't figure out the button to fire the gun. When I do figure it out, it's awkwardly far from the jump button. I'm floating over several buildings and a mountain vista. One building looks almost castle-like, but not enough to be cool. I see Jade and Tear (from Tales of the Abyss) in the parking lot. Past the mountain, the view is fuzzy and indistinct. I float up to the stars. It's not that vivid. Eventually I decide to wake up, because it feels like I am in SP again, only this time there is pressure on my upper arms and abdomen. It's uncomfortable. The Commander Keen scene might be out of order. There was a music playing during parts or most of the dream, mostly Japanese pop.
6/30/2011 I'm pretty sure I wrote this one starting at the end and working backwards, but I didn't write down any indication of the order of events, so I haven't made any attempt to 'fix' the order to be chronological. I am at some sort of beauty contest. One of the contestants is trans-gender. He has a picture of him looking like a beautiful woman years ago when he was younger, but he looks pretty male now. The judges aren't pleased. Me and four others vote for him to be able to participate. The stage catches on fire. The firemen may not be trying as hard as they ought to put it out. They fail. Taking a bus to a contest. Something about mesas. There is an evil guy with minions and a lady. She runs when she realizes what he is. He chases. He kills a couple of minions for not trying hard enough. The chase scene is very long. One of the minions runs the other way through a department store (it's night) and gets the bad man to chase him while the lady runs the other way. The minion is killed. There is a group of misbehaving adolescents. They steal and run away to another town. They're trying to do something good, but they don't get away with it and have to return. I'm fighting monsters in a labyrinth. My brothers are there. There is a safe-ish room/area. I microwave a burrito?
