      "Once the Sun Goes Down..."
      (Lucid)

I was in a supernatural town, where everything apparently goes ape-shit, after dark. (Think 'Silent Hill''.) People turn into zombies; monsters come out to prowl - the whole nine.

My first experience with this town was absolute horror. Everyone around was sporadically transforming into Nightmare Creatures, and it seemed as if they were fixated on me. I was constantly on the run, with a new 'breed' of monster popping up around every other corner. I came to be sprinting through the high, balcony walkways of a massive castle when I was confronted by some sort of 'spinning wheel of death'. It radiated red and orange sparks and whizzed through the air like a large Frisbee, ricocheting off of the walls and stone surfaces as I ducked and dodged out of its way. Shortly after escaping this disc, I began to hear thunderous footsteps approaching me from behind. Something big was coming. I ran faster through the hall, trying to put as much distance between myself and those giant footsteps as I could.

      Then, the dream reset.

I don't know if I was eventually killed by something, or what, but the dream suddenly zapped me back to sundown, and to the very start of this town's hellish transformation. This time, though, I was aware fact that my experience had just started over, and that it wasn't simply Deja Vu. I realized that this was a dream! Again nightfall came, and again, the populace of this city turned to hideous, blood-thirsty monsters.

This time, though, I was able to tear through the beasts with little resistance, acting as a warrior god among these now-harmless hordes. Utilizing mostly telekinesis and simple energy blasts from my hands, and following pretty much the same path as I had previously taken through this world, I was soon back up in the castle, confidently (and whimsically) fighting my way through the hallways and back onto the balcony. Just as before, I saw the 'spinning wheel of death', however, this time, it was inactive. It looked to be just a rickety, old sewing wheel with blades set around it, propped up against the balcony, but it lacked the glowing, rotating element of 'surefire death' that it had, the last time I saw it.

Then, those booming footsteps returned, just as before. Instead of running, though, I turned back to face their origin, surprised to see Thanos, of all people, stomping his way toward me. Even while lucid, I hesitated to rush at my mental projection of an advancing Thanos, so I took a flying leap off of the balcony and dove all the way down to the ground level. The titan followed suit and landed directly behind me. We then began a sort of cat-and-mouse down the side of the mountain upon which the castle rested. Even though I was lucid, I was admittedly on the defensive, but I was doing a good job of blocking and dodging his rushing attacks as he pursued me down the mountainside.

The chase was the last thing I remember.
    2. Dream Fragments

Before going to sleep last night I had a very strong feeling that if I wanted to remember my dream and possibly even be lucid, I needed to wake up at two o'clock. I set two alarms: for two and for five.

I'm not sure if I was lucid from ten to two, but here's all I could remember:

It was nighttime, and someone had killed a unicorn--a supernatural being. They were drinking its blood.

      So clearly from October's TofM.

I had another dream fragment, but I don't remember it now. Here's what I wrote at two in the morning (so sorry, this is gonna be . . . weird):
"My father is a jerk and we're all at Ucon's Quick Stop and he's yelling and blah and Mama's having a bit of a meltdown.

"[A boy from school] was there and he said, 'If someone called you a bad word, what would you do?' "

      "Mercenaries, Wolves and Savages"

      Spoiler for Short Version!:

There was a vast military facility, set in a rocky, mountain terrain. An acquaintance and I were seemingly prisoners or captives on this base, and were sneaking around the yard in an attempt to make our escape. Our captors were more ruthless mercenaries than your standard soldier, and we knew that being caught again would mean certain death.

It didn't take long for the base to go on alert, upon realizing we were no longer where we should have been. Everywhere, squads of these men were mobilizing and searching frantically for us. One the closest end of the base was a wall with a framework of openings, but on the other side was a wide-open clearing, for miles. We could already hear the helicopters beginning to circle. We would be sitting ducks out there. The only way to safety would be to make it across the compound and to the opposite side, where the geographic conditions were much more conducive to escape.

Unable to keep ourselves hidden for much longer, we soon found ourselves sprinting and scrambling through the yard, dodging machine gun fire so close that I could actually feel the bullets tearing through my clothing and brushing my skin at times. Turning a corner - after having lost my companion, somewhere in the fray - I saw a large, metallic object wheeling itself around a nearby building. It was a tank, and the turret was already beginning to rotate in my direction. I broke into a lateral sprint, running as fast as I could, toward the closest structure. It was one of those moments where time stands still, and you're in just such utter terror that you are absolutely, positively sure you are going to die.

I heard the tank fire the shot, just before I was able to reach the corner. Luckily, the shell flew just a few feet behind me. I could sense it as it passed me before exploding, harmlessly, about a dozen yards away.

Still on the run, I happened upon an enormous crevice that led down into the ground, just outside of the military compound. It was a great gash in the earth, about the length of a large yacht, and it was apparently the entrance to a network of caverns which stretched deep below the surface. I climbed down to lower passageways and attempted to wait out my pursuers, thinking that I might have enough concealment down here to successfully get away. Then, I saw a silhouette on the wall. It was a wolf. A very large wolf. It was sniffing its way around toward me, but I was out of its line of sight and it hadn't yet noticed me.

Quietly, I began climbing back up toward the surface, out of the path of this beast, and started to weigh my dwindling options. Poking my head just above the surface, I was met not with the automatic weapons of the mercs that I believed were still searching for me, but with the sight of about five more wolves, sprinting down out of the nearby mountains and directly toward me at breakneck speed.

Frantically, I slid back down into the crevice and to the lower level. The wolf was there waiting, and I ended up having to fend him off with my hands, grabbing his snout as he lunged and grappling with him just long enough to slip away before the others could descend into the cavern behind me. (I think I killed it, but I'm not sure.)

Continuing further and further down, and just as I was beginning to feel that I had rid myself of the ferocious wolves, I found myself dropping into a wide open 'room' within the cavern. It was about the size of the underwater cavern in my dream from yesterday. This time, though...it was full of people. Primitive, indigenous people, who seemed as though they had been living here for eons. A lost civilization. And they all immediately stopped what they were doing and stared directly at me.

I was standing on some kind of pedestal or shrine, and surrounded by precious artifacts. The centerpiece immediately caught my eye: a large, gem-encrusted plate, in the shape of a skull, which looked like it had come straight out of an Indiana Jones movie. Suddenly, the air turned hostile, and this entire tribe began converging angrily upon me. I was off, again, instinctively grabbing up the skull-shaped relic and dashing off of the pedestal, running through the caves while they gave chase. Some of the natives also dealt in magic, because the last thing I remember is hoping from ledge to ledge while a handful of them threw glowing, blue spells at me, which exploded into bright splashes of hot liquid.

I don't think they ever caught me, though!

      "Z-Day Diversion"

Deep in the zombie apocalypse, my allies and I were holed up inside of a prison (The Walking Dead style), and trying our best to survive. Directly next to this prison (comically-close) was a hospital. The hospital was 100% zombie-infested, but we found ourselves having to venture over there for food and supplies (much like the 'self-infection' sequence in World War Z). I remember seeing sweeping shots of many of the hospital hallways, and how there were scores of the undead just roaming about. It was always harrowing, but it was the only place we could get the supplies we needed, so we had to brave it.

We found that there was a missile-launcher on the roof of the prison, set upon a turret. I can't remember why, but I had to make my way up to the tower where the missile was. I think it had malfunctioned, and we were planning on using it to (somehow) make an escape from the prison, or end the apocalypse with a strategically-placed attack (or something), so I went up to try to get it working again. While I was fiddling with the launcher, it suddenly armed itself and the turret began moving. It didn't take long for me to realize that it was attempting to aim itself at me. I scrambled around on the tower, trying to keep myself out of the line of sight of this missile - not that I was sure it was going to fire at me at such a close range, inevitably blowing up part of the prison with me. Eventually, I got to where I was partially hanging off of the tower by my hands, but I was in the weapon's blind spot.

This incident led me to find out that there was a secret faction of 'elites', who were watching us and 'controlling' our situation, from afar. They were the ones whom had taken remote control of the missile launcher and threatened to take me out, had I attempted to use it. Our apocalyptic survival was a part of some larger experiment, and we were being manipulated and studied, even while we suffered through one gruesome zombie-encounter after another. Those of us who survived banded together to try and figure out the mystery of who was putting us through this, and why, but I don't remember much more.

      "Bladed Djinn"

Running through an array of back yards and hopping random fences, I was trying to get away from a creature that reminded me of the djinn from the movie Wishmaster. It could also shapeshift, and merge itself with the surroundings. It would frequently disappear into the earth and move within it, then it would morph sections of itself into blades, stabbing upward at my feet and legs as I scurried up and over the residential properties. It was like fighting an ugly version of the T-1000 from Terminator 2.

      "Totem Experiment #2"

(Another small success, this morning, though my quality of sleep has been less than great, and my recall is still suffering. I had been checking my totem, all throughout the day, yesterday. One of the last times checking it was when I was driving home from work at midnight, rolling it around in my hand and getting a feel for it while asserting that I was dreaming. I tried to levitate it in my hand, while willing it to point me toward my (as yet confidential) objective/destination. After going home and hanging out for a while, I went to bed, clutching my totem and setting my focus upon it.)

I was driving down the road at night, seemingly on the same highway by which I make my way to and from work. Holding onto my totem, I began to check my state and gradually came to suspect I was dreaming. To confirm this, I looked down at my totem and attempted to move it with my mind. It suddenly stood straight up in my palm, like a football standing on one end. I believe that I focused on either my hand or the object, to bring the dream into more clarity, but I'm not 100% sure.

As was the plan, I then willed the totem to lead me to my intended destination. The magnet/totem then flew forward, off of my hand, and went through the windshield (without impacting it). I then started to drive after it, following it down the highway toward wherever it was trying to lead me.

The next thing I remember, it was daytime, and I was standing on a high, grassy cliff with an unknown person. It is assumed that lucidity had already left me, but I can't really recall. The only thing I could see, beyond the green grass beneath our feet, was a bright, almost overwhelming, blue and white sky (I was actually looking at both of us from behind, in third-person). I can at least tell that this person was a friend, and we were having a conversation about something being "wrong" or "not working", although I don't remember what that particular thing was.

(In hindsight, I have to wonder if we were talking about the lucid dream experiment? I really don't know. I don't think I was lucid for this part, though, so it's hard to tell exactly what we were referring to.

      "Flaked"

The main thing I remember is that I was hanging out with an attractive friend of mine and a male ‘friend’ of hers. They were getting increasingly close, to the point where I thought they had something going on, but it was all really ambiguous. Later, she had told me that he was "part gay" and that there was nothing between them. That night, she and I were hanging out. I was about to give her a back rub, which she said she was all down for, but she ended up talking herself out of it, which was irritating…

      Fragment One
      "Robot with a Minigun"

There was a war going on, and we (humans) were on the run from heavily-armed, tank-like, killer robots. I was hiding out with someone, in a trailer or a small, elevated home, and one of the hunter robots were coming down the street, firing indiscriminate, large caliber machine-gun fire into every new trailer-thing it approached. When it eventually came to where we were trying to hide, my ally and I knew had to make a run for it. Bright flashes of tracer fire started ripping through the structure, and we charged through one of the walls, running across the dirt road and fleeing among the hail of bullets.

      Fragment Two
      "Backseat Zombie"

Zombie apocalypse. My family and I had to leave the house, getting in the car and peeling out of the driveway with zombies slowly lumbering after us. After a few moments of driving down the street, a zombie grabbed me from behind ( I was in the passenger seat), and began trying to bite my head and neck. I thought it might have been my mom's boyfriend, assuming he had been bitten earlier, and the last thing I remember is trying my hardest to fight him off.
    7. Do the Windy Thing

by , 04-12-2014 at 07:56 AM (Inside the Mind of Mattlantis)

These were my dreams from this morning. The first, which I remember almost nothing about, solely consisted of me texting a friend while sitting in bed. Something caused me to wake up and I saw that I still had a little more than an hour before my alarm would go off, so I attempted a WBTB.

I remember I was in a car with Sam and Dean from Supernatural, with possibly one other person. We stopped somewhere to eat I think, and at some point, I acquired a flash of lucidity. I got a little too excited and closed my eyes, very nearly waking myself up right there, but I just relaxed and visualized the setting of the dream and managed to stabilize it. I got back in the car with everyone else and started driving when I got the idea to just make the car fly like the way John flew the car in Homestuck. I imagined the car lifting off like a plane as I drove on the road, and it did start to lift a bit, but then a tornado appeared in front of us and lifted us up, although I still had complete control over the car and apparently the tornado. I commented that it was like The Wizard of Oz and cackled like a witch on purpose, then the dream or my recall skipped again. Still lucid, I was in a city at night standing in the street. I looked up into the sky determined to fly again and jumped. It was a bit difficult and I gained altitude pretty slowly, but I spread my arms, visualized rising up like an eagle riding a hot updraft (visualizing seems to really help when I'm trying to exert control), and flew up and over a bridge. Some of the birds who were up there squawking and chirping at me, so I jokingly squeaked and chirped back. I got the feeling that we actually understood each other, and eventually I landed on a rooftop garden courtyard thing.

I believe I lost lucidity at this point, and there were a lot of kittens laying around in this courtyard that led down into an apartment. Most of them ignored me, until I walked down into the apartment a bit. I was afraid to proceed too far into the apartment for fear of getting caught, but then a few cats meowed and jumped onto me. They weren't hurting me, but they wouldn't let go and were basically just trying to weigh me down. I tried climbing back up the stairs but so many jumped on me I collapsed. I wasn't exactly afraid, they were just kittens after all, but I was a bit annoyed and I kept struggling until I woke up.
    8. Cursed brothers, two versions

      by , 04-11-2014 at 07:18 PM
There's a frozen lake with a hole in the center of the ice, and a school building at the bottom that's an exact duplicate of a building on land. As Dean, I'm remembering fighting Sam in this lake sometime in the past, when he was trying to stop me from taking something out of it - I'd been filling a canteen from something at the bottom of the lake. Now we've come back to that same lake, and I'm thinking out loud about the "misfortune" that "follows" people who steal from this place. I point out that we didn't take anything back then. Sam pulls out that canteen, revealing that he'd secretly kept it. There's blood inside it - I'd gathered it for him - and it's a neverending supply, so if he relies on that canteen, he doesn't need to take it from anyone else. But it's still cursed. So he says to me, I might as well go ahead and steal what I need from the lake; the misfortune has already been following us anyway.

      (Woke up. Back to sleep.)

There's a man talking to a woman just outside the door of a church, saying "What have you done to your hair?" He knew her in the past, but she's meeting him for the first time in her lifetime. I see images of him as one of six brothers who'd been cursed lifetimes ago. The images are like photos moving against a black background; he and his brothers give me an impression of being arrogant, self-centered, maybe not deliberately cruel but thoughtless, a vague association of violence. But the modern version of him had been very different, and I'm thinking about that change in him while I walk up my IRL street, into my IRL home, and start making tea. Standing over the stove, I'm thinking, "the debt has been paid" - the man suffering now has little in common with the brothers that the curse was originally placed on.
    9. A haunted piano, an odd pet, and a deal gone bad

      by , 01-31-2014 at 11:23 PM
Dean and Sam are trapped inside a house they were investigating, something to do with a piano and a song that was being worked on at the time of the composer's death. As Dean, I'd been calling someone on my phone the moment the house trapped us inside, a woman we've worked with before. She'd been having lunch when I called her, and after a while the phone is taken by some guy she was eating with, someone who doesn't understand anything about what's going on and who tells me off for being rude, insists I should "use sir and ma'am" or else he'll hang up. So I call him "sir and ma'am" and piss him off. Thankfully the woman from before takes the phone back. I have the impression that if I hadn't been on the phone already, if I hadn't already had a connection established, the house would have prevented the phones from connecting; if this call ends, we won't be able to contact the outside world at all.

I've got a creature perched on my finger that's something like a crow and something like a bat - it's furry rather than feathered, but it's got a beak. The feeling of its talons around my finger is odd - not exactly discomfort, it reminds me of holding a mouse in your hands. I raise my hand and launch it into the sky.

There are two little girls, elementary school age, who are carrying out some illegal deal, weapons or something similar, something stored in the trunk of a car. They have some mentor who usually does this, he doesn't realize that they're here in his stead, he would have stopped them if he knew about it. This meeting with the customer was supposed to be an initial negotiation, a sample, but one of the girls declares that they're going to do the deal now. The customer reacts badly. The other girl gets shot, the one who'd declared they were doing the deal now takes a gun out of the trunk and shoots the customer, the cops come, they're all put in handcuffs, and the customer is bewildered, he was a good customer and doesn't understand why they tried to change things. The girls escape, go home, and try to cut the chains around their wrists with their father's tools.
    10. A Hotel for Five/A Hunt for Demons

      by , 11-23-2013 at 12:17 AM
      Date: 11/21/13
      Technique(s) Used: WBTB
      __________________________

I was with my family, and we were all driving to a hotel. We enter through the doors, and my dad calls me on the hotel room phone (Which looked suspiciously like our house phone). He sounded a little different on the phone. I turn around after he calls, and there he is, inside the room, a phone in his hand.

I decided to take a walk outside, and soon came across a road. There was a small child playing in the road. A green car was blazing towards him, so I run and toss him out of harm's way.

I am struck by the car, but not in the conventional way - I seemed to have glided over the car, instead of getting thrown backwards, onto my back.

The car skidded to a stop, and came to check and see if I was breathing. Apparently, the crash caused my clothes to disappear.

I ran for a golf cart, and drove back to the hotel. Obtaining queer looks from guards, I go back inside.

On the other side of the door, there was a large golden retriever. I played with him, and soon awoke.
      __________________________

This dream took place within an old school, one I didn't recognize. I was with Dean (from Supernatural), looking for something; I can't seem to remember what.

I went outside to try and find the Deuce, only to come upon a forest of cars and other vehicles. I tried looking around, while the sounds of construction work filled the air. You could smell the dirt and stone they were using.

As I gave up hope, I come back to a scene: Dean was being confronted by a small group of construction workers, lead by the architect of the operation. I rush over, hoping things hadn't escalated yet. They were about to, so I used my quick wits to get us out: I told Dean to "Get back inside, grandpa," for he had with him a bright, yellow cane, and shoved him back into the building.

We retreat into the sanctuary of the school, smiling and laughing at each other. We go into a small room, with a couch in it. From one of the windows on the doors, we see the group readying black crossbows to get us. I began to lock doors, and Dean went to investigate an entrance across from the room we were in.

I lock and secure all doors within the room. As soon as I finish, I hear a loud bang, like a door being slammed open. I dive behind the couch, searching for something blunt, in case I am found. Behind me, there was a large, plastic sniper (Probably Nerf), colored bright blue. I grab it, and made a plan: If they came this way, I'd trip them with it.

The footsteps come closer, and I grow more nervous. Where was Dean? The footsteps come close, and my heart seems to stop. Then, I hear something that relieves me: It was the voices of children.

I stand up, and my hypothesis was proven right - it was two kids, both with foam dart guns in hand. I smile at them, and we all play for a minute. They shoot me, and I pretend to go down dramatically, gripping my chest and shutting my eyes.

When they opened, I was back in my room, awake.
    11. Shopping at a bookstore, and Cas in the lunchroom

      by , 10-06-2013 at 10:28 AM (Mouka's Mind Palace)
I was in the lunchroom with some friends, and Cas from Supernatural joined us. We were all trying to play it cool, but silently freaked out among ourselves and fawned over his adorableness as he sat down and tried to figure out how lunchrooms work. I got up to get a drink, and when I came back to the table, he was gone. One of my friends, Sarah I think, got his phone number, and we kept calling it to hear his weird voice-mail greeting. But when I tried to enter his number into my contacts, my phone's auto-correct kept changing his name and wouldn't let me fix it, so I wasn't able to save his number. We left the lunchroom and went to class, and I sat down at a desk near the back. The teacher gave us some kind of math quiz, that had word questions about how long it took to travel from one place to another place. The questions were worded like "A plane leaves Las Vegas at 5pm and arrives in New York at 9pm, how long did it take to get there?" which is obviously easy to answer, but the teacher demanded we answer the questions a certain way that involved looking up the distance between the two cities and the average speed of the airplane and using that to find the answer instead of just counting the hours between 5 and 9. I was upset and I thought I failed the quiz because I didn't understand his confusing way to answer.

Cory and I went shopping at a bookstore. He was off in the sci-fi section, and I wandered into the new age aisle and was looking at the tarot decks they had for sale. I don't remember what happened after that, but later we were both out on a porch that was covered in vines, and we were watching episodes of King of the Hill. The TV we were watching was interactive, and it would occasionally pause and show a black screen with white text. It would ask what we would like to see happen in the episode next, and give us multiple choices.
    12. Daytime Haunting

      by , 08-26-2013 at 11:05 PM (Keitorin's Dream Log)
      9:29 A.M.

I’m looking for something on the porch (at an old residence), it turns out to be a green cord hanging down from the roof - I can just see the end of it and I need it. Mom tells me not to try and get it but I imply that I have before. She climbs up on the wood railing. I stabilize her waist and end up lifting her as she grabs the cord. She’s impressed as I help her down. (She’s nearly double my weight IWL.)

I’m moving with a group around an empty house. We stop here and there to fight monsters. It’s like a haunted house only in the daytime. A few times one of the team, a girl, offers blood by cutting her palm and dripping it onto the wooden floor to make the monsters come. I keep talking about what some of the places are/their story, because apparently I used to live in this house. I think there was a guy or two involved in the story. There’s a hushed feeling and sense of expectation.

The last scene is on a small porch in the back. I remember seeing grass outside of it grown a few inches, and there was another porch to the left. It looks too small to be what I remember it as.

The girl asks me what I’m doing, and I say I want more monsters. More bloodletting here?

Inspirations: The last porch comes from the previous dream, I think I remember that it was supposed to be used as a room (possibly the fancy wooded one). Climbing the first porch railing probably comes from me climbing the kitchen counter to get something out of the cabinet. The green cord must come from the Christmas lights mom showed me yesterday. Monsters come from gaming. Wonder if I should add ‘old residences’ back to my dream signs list.

      Notes:

Woke up happy that I remembered more than the day before, and felt like I had gotten better sleep. (Of course, now I feel like crud. XP)

      Emotions: Hushed and expectant atmosphere.
    13. Sliding scale of Supernatural morality

      by , 08-18-2013 at 11:25 PM
I'm playing the role of Dean, and I'm tired of listening to the way the demon wearing our father's face is talking about Sammy. The Fallen, the man in the white suit - that's really the way you things see him, isn't it. That's not him. That was never him.

Different time, same character, similar rant about morality and our role in the world. Except this time I seem to have worked myself around to the opposite point, that by trying to destroy monsters we've become monstrous ourselves, and I'm tired and bitter and when I'm done talking Cas says with this look of revelation, "damn, we are evil!" He's laughing, and I agree. "Yeah, Cas. You too." And I shoot him. That's been a long time coming. The guy we'd been hunting down escaped during this, but he's arrested by the cops outside. Julia's tied to the chair where he left her, and I look at her and wonder if we can still separate her from the evil thing possessing her - I think of it as a part of her.

Earlier dreams and fragments: attempting to get to a Halloween event and running into one problem after another, with a few IRL people and places appearing; and a protest or strike at a memorial service.

Im not sure what the order of these dreams was or whether they were both WBTB or which one wasn't.

Dream 1: I was sitting at the kitchen table. I was holding two carved wood handheld mirrors. There was some sort of demon invasion. I thought my parents were demons and expected their reflections to be scary, but when I saw my day's reflection he looked normal.

Mom said that some woman (mentioned in the news?) was suspect to the demons because she had been promiscuous. I told my mom to stop acting like we're living in the dark ages, and she said to my dad, "See, she's one of them." Or something to that effect.

Dream 2: My sister and I were driving somewhere with one of my parrots. It is nighttime. We were going to some lecture, and on the way to the building C got scared and flew away, but I found her near a trash can and picked her up.

C and I sat in a classroom apart from the large lecture hall where we were supposed to be because I was afraid to lose C. Or rather, that someone would hurt her.

    15. Demon Hunting

I was in an airport with a group of people - some friends, some not - and we were all gathered around a map of the world. There was some sort of malignant being or force trapped in South America, and in order to defeat it, we first had to release it. We had set a type of bomb that would create a canal from the ocean to our target, as massive amounts of water would be required in freeing it. The bomb would cause alot of collateral damage, however, so we were all taking flights out to various parts of the world to escape the effects of the upcoming blast. A friend and I were the only two headed for California. We all purchased our tickets and then sat together as we waited for our flights.

I was in a small town with some family members. There were alot of bikers in the town, passing through. I was there because I had heard rumors of supernatural activity in the area. I went to a diner with my dad and found out from some locals that I shouldn't've brought my family. Things had gotten so bad that one of them would surely be dead within a day.

The town was full of strange-looking animals that were behaving erratically. They were small but violent, and there was one in particular that looked like a cross between a ferrett and a porcupine with razorblades for spines.

In a dark and strange location that seemed almost like an outdoor fun house, I met a little girl as I was setting up a demon trap. She told me I was going to hell, for some reason, and I felt the need to explain to her that demons were real and that there was one nearby. At some point she left and I found myself talking to a tall man with dark hair. He seemed off somehow, and he asked me what I knew about demons. I told him I knew they were real because I had seen an exorcism before. In truth, I had performed many exorcisms myself, but I didn't want him to know that. I realized quickly that this man was possessed by the demon that was causing deaths and disappearances in town.

My dad and I met a woman in a swamp who was selling icecream. The icecream she sold came from a bucket that contained any flavor imaginable. I was permitted to look into the bucket, and saw that it contained layer upon layer of icecream, seemingly going on forever.
