[D] A new member of a BBS/forum commits suicide and posts graphic pictures, leaving clues behind. Some users of the BBS call it a hoax, others accept that it's real but are still indifferent. His name is something like OPMQLN (six letters, unsure about the first two only).
[F] Walking down a city street at night. There's an interstate hi-rise above us (I'm walking with one to five other people). It's dark but there's a sort of faded golden glowing property around everything. There was either snow or rain on the ground, and in the sky, but not touching us. Maybe I was with two people and we passed six people? Overall a feeling of good cheer.
[D] I'm in a room similar to a cabin I once stayed at with F. It has a queen bed and is connected to a long living room which leads to a kitchen. I'm working (at my old restaurant possibly) and my (fictional restaurant) coworker drops a glass of spaghetti. The glass had the noodles, meat, and sauce combined already. When the jar shatters there's a ballistics-like scene left over. It reminds me of the strings Dexter puts up for blood spatter analysis. My coworker needs to clean it up and the vibe is that I should help but I refuse because he made the mess. A speck of sauce made it all the way into the first room, and I wipe it off with my finger. I'm bringing two hardcover books (one is light blue) to place on a bookshelf in the original room.
[D] A long, three-stage epic about an apocalypse. The first is live-action and sort of reminds me of Princess Mononoke, it takes place in a dark forest and tells the story of the mother and child; at parts the visuals are clay stop-motion. The second part has visuals similar to Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines (very specific to how the walk cycle animations look in this game, and the general quality). The mother and child are at the ranch home, but on this rainy night an evil woman creature steals the prize horse. The father mounts an evil beast and chases after her. He's weilding a black buster sword. From a distance, she casts some sort charm/weaken/poison spell on him and he (me) starts seeing bats with different visual effects (invert colors, seeing auras, blur, etc.). He dies. The child grows up a bit and one night rides out to the edge of the field, and she reaches a resort hotel where she speaks over a fence to a woman near the swimming pool. In the third part, the child is grown, and the town around her is separated into different Animal-Crossing-like houses. They each represent someone in the town who's died (one of them representing her father) and they look like russian dolls. Then they all simultaneously turn around and just look like houses (they're lined up in a grid). Their brick tiles/shingles on the right side of each house shift slowly up in a symbolic gesture.
[F] I'm in my old church on the altar.
[D] I'm a youngish man with a wife and kid(s), I've just managed to stop the nuclear apocalypse somehow. There were three huge glowing green worms/dragons/snakes (in some scenes they remind me of Mass-produced Evas), and now they're banished or blacked out from our world. Scene transition to me shooting a rocket launcher, but it just puffs. Scene transition to an overview of the land in black, and the three green snakes circling around it, but being unable to enter (there is a circle that they can go behind and be blacked out, but they can't affect anything (I think in-dream -- maybe they can within the blackout circle). Scene shift to a sliding glass window and I see my daughter outside. I almost get lucid and have the opportunity to, but for some reason don't. I'm really drawn in by my (fictional) daughter and rush outside to pick her up. It's a really heartwarming moment. Scene shifts and it's a third person view and my fictional family and I get into a bus. I'm narrating like it's the end of movie and I just did something badass. I remember the line "I make $50,000." We head out of the driveway and are imediately crashed into by a firetruck. My family is fine but I'm injured, the fire department (and chief) are very resentful at me for some reason. Maybe in the way that I saved the world I somehow stepped on their toes. They rummage through our stuff in the bus.
[D] I'm going through a house which feels more like a gift shop. In the entrance there are some people talking, the first time through they feel off but the second time I realize they're platic with speakers and they say the same bit each time. There are glass display cases with objects inside, possibly this is a museum for one of the apocalypses in my former dreams. I pass through a (possibly beaded) doorway on the right if you're coming in (there's a counter or column or something in the middle of the room that you have to walk around). The black guy from Fear the Walking Dead (don't his name as I'm only passively watching this show while F watches it) is leaning at a bar counter and I pass him. Off to the right is a door which I don't think twice about the first time through. The second time through, I go in and there's something secret and important there, like it's an exit into another place (possibly the cabin in my early dream?). There's a valuable item in a chest which I see, can't remember what it was now.
    2. Aliens

      by , 08-07-2013 at 05:41 PM
I don't have a specific dream to write down, as I haven't slept for the longest time ever. Buuuuuuuuuuuut, for the past few months, I've been dreaming of aliens/abductions/ufos more and more. And this past week, I've probably had 6 alien-related dreams. I don't know why either, because I stopped watching sci-fi alienzzsozoz shows. I did see two UFO IRL since spring, though. All the other times I thought I saw UFO (as in before these last two), I always thought they were stars, or I was too high, too drunk, or just seeing random BS. The last two I saw were very clear and I was almost fully aware of what was happening around me. It changed me a bit. Now, I have this mental belief that the aliens are trying to contact me because I'm having these dreams, being able to see UFO's, and other lame stuff. But it really just could be my brain forcing that idea onto me, making me think aliens really want to contact me, when they really don't. Mannnnnnnnn, I feel dumber and dumber by the hour. Maybe it's time I get some sleep.

OH, I experimented with melatonin. I had 10mg tabs and 1/4ths, 1/2s, 2, 5, and 15. I will write down what resulted from each dose:

1/4ths - Put me to sleep, and I usually stayed asleep for around 4-5 hours.
1/2s - Put me to sleep, but I woke up every 2-3 hours.
2 - Knocked me out, but I woke up every 2-3 hours.
5 - Knocked me out, and I woke up within an hour.
15 - Knocked me out, woke up 3 hours later, I think, andndndnd gave me a migraine, andddjadaafag I didn't sleep for 48+ hours after that.

In all of those, my dreams stayed as vivid as they normally were. Ever since I stopped taking melatonin, I've been getting cartoony dreams, with a lot of oranges, reds, blues, and greens.

OH, I've also been dreaming of this school with a very deep basement with a lot of stairs that I run down and almost get murdered in. I've had dreams of that same place three times now. And another type of dream I've had twice now, of this obstacle race in some weird dark jungley place with stairs and diseased walls... the fuck is wrong with me?

    3. First DJ entry!

      by , 04-19-2013 at 09:32 PM (Raven's Roost)
      Hello everyone, Raven here!

My dreams have always been vivid, however in the past few nights that I've discovered lucid dreaming, they have been even more so than usual. Hopefully soon I will have my first lucid dream... I can't wait. They sound just unbelievable and I'm a bit obsessed with having one... Ultimate power, creativity, and the chance to change yourself by interacting directly to your subconscious sounds amazing!

Anyway, without further ado, here is the dream I had last night - and my first entry!

      Mutiny in the Exterminators!

      Genre: Sci-Fi, Action

      Legnth: Long and Vivid

      Normal Dream Lucid Dream

I find myself in a squad of seven people, all dressed in high-tech armor and weaponry. Five of them men, including myself, the other two very attractive women - one with white hair and the other a pretty brunette. We are making our way into a factory, that is evidently infected with aliens/bugs/zombie creatures. A few minutes into exploring, we find a giant room filled with thousands of eggs. As we examine them, a movement above us stirs, and in a knee jerk reaction one of us begins opening fire on the ceiling. The light of the nozzle flares reveal the presence of HUNDREDS of full grown mother alien/zombies, and they are almost identical to Alien from... Alien... Except that they have wings and can fly as well.

We open fire, tearing down dozens of them as they swarm down upon us. There are too many so we retreat up a flight of stairs onto a catwalk, and then into a ventilation system. We handle the aliens pretty well, as we begin to bottleneck them in the vents, however they get wise and begin tearing through the bottom of the vents... "Clever girl" I think grimly. We continue out of the ventilation shaft into a massive cylindrical room that seems to be some sort of reactor. Think the giant room in Star Wars where Darth Vader tells Luke the horrible truth. We get a while to sit and make contact with home base, who turns out to be Malory, Archer's mother, from the cartoon show Archer on FX. Halfway through reporting our findings, we lose connection to find one of our group members has jammed the signal.

Suddenly I realize that there is about to be a mutiny, because evidently the only way to get a raise as an alien exterminator is to kill your friends and take it. One of the mutineers raises his gun at my face, grinning. Before he can pull the trigger, WHOOSH, an alien mother comes out of no where and grabs the first mutineer, we will call him Jones. Screaming, Jones disappears from sight. Not missing a beat, white haired girl opens fire upon my male colleague and pretty brunette girl. We return fire, and battle with each other slowly up a spiral staircase working its way up the reactor. The second mutineer, male, jumps on me, and in a short scuffle I push him over the railing, screaming.

I rush to the top of the stairs, to find that everyone is in a mexican standoff. White hair girl is aiming a pistol at my brunette, who is aiming at the last male mutineer, who is aiming at my last male ally, who is aiming at white hair girl. I walk up, and aim at white hair girl, grinning. She quickly whips out another pistol and aims it at my face. "Touche," I say impressed.

Suddenly, the reincarnated zombie bug version of Jones jumps up from the reactor core, startling everyone. I take this moment to blast white hair in the back of the head. Without missing a beat I grab her left arm and spin her around, using her as a shield when male mutineer begins to shoot at me. Aiming her arm, I squeeze white hair's lifeless hand and shoot mutineer through the forehead, unfortunately not before he kills our last male ally with his assault rifle.

As brunette and I leave the factory, we find that the world has been overrun by darkness, and it seems like years have past. The dream fades.

    4. The Three Cities

      by , 06-15-2012 at 12:57 PM
      First

I'm at a camping center with some friends. There are also children there. Outside there is a small cottage, very old with gray, slightly rotten wood. Some of the us sleep there and there is a stove. I guess I'm looking for something or cleaning, I'm going trough stuff there and putting them in their place. There is a stove and there's flames coming out of it every now and then. When I look around I see three other fireplaces that are leaking flames and smoke. I'm surprised the place hasn't burned down long ago.

      Second

I'm walking from the center of a city, down some stairs and towards another neighborhood. There is a Hindu monk riding a bike past me. He smiles and I recognize him and smile back. He is from a monastery where i sometimes go and have some philosophical talks or something. We happen to pass some Christian monks at the same time, carrying coffin. One of them reminisces about when they were a small order like the Hindus are now, and he had to carry coffins by himself up the stairs.

      Third

I'm at home in a room with my wife. My parents and brothers are in the living room watching TV. They are watching the lottery. My father gets excited and proclaims he has won 30 000. It's not the biggest price but it's pretty good. They start watching a movie. It's some scifi from a food author so we decide to watch it, too.

I'm in the movie, I'm a young man who lives alone but seems to be pretty sociable. It's a small settlement on an otherwise uninhabited planet. An old man has just died next door. Apparently everybody knew him, but they were all expecting him to die pretty soon anyway.

I'm walking with a bunch on guys close to the border of the settlement. We are wondering about the slow progress of the habitation endeavor. There's a lot of technology that should have arrived by this point. First we think we should investigate outside the settlement area. I tell the others it would be dangerous and there is some rule forbidding it. They abandon the idea and leave, and I go look outside the settlement alone.

There is another city just like ours. It's almost exactly the same but some of the people behave a little differently. A woman who is shy in my city is very loud and talkative in this one. The old man has just died here, too. I continue to the same direction and come to a third city, also identical. But here, the old man is still alive, but just about to die. People are gathered to a center square to see him for the last time.

Then I remember the story, I've read the book the movie is based on. The cities are actually on a planet that is completely livable. They are there for studying how much of peoples personalities are coded in genes. The people in the three cities are genetically identical, but they have been incubated in different laboratories.
