    1. The Black Bull

      I'll probably post this in Dream Interpretation later because I always feel my dreams are symbolic, but am not clever enough to make sense of them.

      When I became aware of myself, it was night, and the moon was full but golden in color. I was in the middle of an abandoned, dirty city. All the windows and all the glass was broken and scattered across the streets, and the street lamps flickered on and off occasionally. Blue wisps of fire darted around me and through the empty streets and buildings, and they made a soft ringing, like a small bell. I remember walking along, unsure what to make of the strange landscape, and checking for any sort of person or thing that I could recognize.

      Suddenly, there is a loud crash behind me, the ground shakes, and I lose my balance. I turn to look and I see a large, black bull with pitch black, cracked horns and a lizard's scaly hide instead of fur. He had burning coals for eyes which were buried deep in his face, and they burned away some of the flesh around his eye sockets. His breath was heavy, and he exhaled smoke and embers. Then he reared up on his back legs and charged at me. I scrambled to get out of the way, but he was too fast--he was so fast that as he passed, all the debris in the city would fly up into the air. The bull impaled me on one of his horns, and lifted me above his head before he shook me off and tossed me aside. The bull then let out a bellowing howl and almost all the buildings save for the tallest one were torn apart and thrown into the air, then engulfed in bright, white hot flame.

      I laid there, staring at the burning city, bleeding out and unable to move. I turned my gaze up to the tallest building, which had not been destroyed and saw a figure standing atop of it, looking at the golden moon. This figure has been present in all my dreams since before I can remember. She is a woman with black hair down to her ankles, bright red eyes, porcelain skin, and usually dressed in an elegant red and white ballgown. When I caught sight of the woman, she filled my vision, and was the only thing I could see. She then turned to me suddenly, her red eyes catching my own, and the golden moon turned red. Then, I woke up.

    2. Reign of Fire

      The city is crowded and my friends in eye are walking in no particular direction. I look into the sky and notice a symbol I mistakenly recognize as a red superman symbol being projected by means of a spotlight. Upon pointing my finger to show my friends, I realize it is actually a goat's head in the shape of an inverted pentagram. My heart sinks. I recall there being some sort of prophecy of the night changing to day and the world ending. At that moment, I see I bright red ring in the distance. The night turns to day and I notice the ring is surrounding an Eiffel Tower-like building. It explodes and collapses.

      The entire city is in panic and everyone is running in different directions. My friends and I make off in the same direction until bombs start dropping. It is now a frantic effort to stay alive. I start leaping what feels like ten feet at a time, at one point being propelled by an explosion beneath my feet. Eventually, I make it to what I decide to be a safe location. A parking garage built underneath a large office building. I'm with a close friend of mine, Chris. We have a view of the large reddish nebula-like phenomenon, I think it to be some sort of portal, which has now taken the place of the Eiffel Tower-like structure.

      We're relieve and rest in this location, intently staring at the portal. I decide to call my parents and inform them of my dire situation, say my goodbye, and tell them I love them one last time. As I start to fiddle with my phone, a group of three red and black dragons emerge from the portal. Again, my heart sinks... To our horror, the dragon flies and lands right in front of us. We run for our lives up the stairs of the parking garage, being followed closely by the dragon. We get to an upper level, where we split ways and run to different stair exits in an attempt to shake the dragon. I jump down each flight of stairs as quickly as possible. The dragon is coming after me. Once I'm at the lowest level, I sprint to the elevator and smash the close door button until it finally closes. Just in time! I can feel the dragon blowing fire up the elevator shaft, heating up the elevator I'm now trapped in.

      Right before it's almost too hot to bear, the elevator stops right before the floor I'd intended to get off at. I press the open door upon and see that I've stopped a few feet too short and pull myself up the rest of the way and climb out. I'm now in an large, open office-like room with a surprisingly amount of calm, collective people. I observe my surroundings for a few minutes until my comrade emerges the elevator shaft. I'm surprised, but ecstatic to see him. We feel as though we've escaped the dragon for the time being, but that he'll be back. I take this time to try to send a text message to my parents, but I cannot get it to work no matter how hard I try. It's extremely disheartening.

      My friend and I decide it would be a safe time to go explore our area. We exit the building to our left and enter a park filled with benches and trees. We wander for quite some time and meet up with another friend of ours, Chris C., until we notice a dragon emerging from the portal once again. We make a run for the building we came from to shelter ourselves and hopefully not stick out as targets.

      I notice a few men investigating the elevator shaft I came out of, which now resembles my car's trunk. It has all the things I'd normally have in my trunk: some tools, a skateboard, a deflated volleyball, and a case full of Magic: The Gathering cards (which wouldn't normally be there). The men want to by them, but I tell them to wait for my friend, who they belong to, and to come back later. They argue they aren't well enough protect as the box they're in cannot lock, but I show them I can shut the trunk and lock the doors to my car. Problem solved.

      At this point the dragon has arrived again and I still haven't sent my text message, although I've been trying this entire time. We all run out in the direction of the park. We leap in different directions in an attempt to avoid the dragon and the flames its spewing. I realize now, that instead of killing people, the fire transforms people into non-aggressive goblin looking creatures. Instead of attacking, they merely point my direction and inform the dragon of my position if I try to hide. The dragon gets both of my friends, and I'm dismayed to be on my own. I keep going however, and reach a neighborhood where I hide behind a circle of fences which are surrounded by trees. A goblin gives away my position and the dragon finds me. I wake up.

    3. Red Shirt Dreams = Reality

      Note: The past two nights I've had dreams about red shirts. My old job dream two entries ago, I was wearing one particular red shirt I own. Tonight, and after I recorded this entry, my girlfriend came over. She brought with her the very shirt I had dreamed about. I had no idea she had taken in it, or that it wasn't in my laundry basket.

      It's possible, even likely in this instance, that subconsciously I was aware it was missing.

    4. Blond and a Fireplace

      Sadly only the last fragment was recalled despite the same efforts as the night before...

      I saw a blond sitting on a gray shag carpet in front of a fireplace. She was wearing a bright red shirt and her legs were tan and beautiful. Out of the fireplace was pouring thick dark smoke that was moving straight up in a column. No fire was visible. She was posed elegantly and I had the impression this was a photo shoot.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      I was attending a class of something. It was probably a class about ESP or some sort of psychic stuff that I already archive and use on a daily basis, I cannot remember well.
      The teacher was pretty eccentric and I was feeling bothered because the teacher was trying to teach me something she was well aware I already archived.

      We went to some sort of beach with the entire class. The teacher told me how to do some kind of energy work, but I told her I knew well about it. While we were waiting for other students, a red parrot flew by me and turned into a dark red pigeon. It stopped by me and the teacher stared in amazement. I started to pet the pigeon and it started to purr like a cat. I was surprised of such situation and looked at the animal. It was a cat, a beautiful red skinned cat. It almost glowed. The cat was asking for love and purring very intensely.

      Suddenly, I waked to a kiosk with a stage. A sat in the stage with a few random psychics that I do not know in waking life. One psychic told me to create a PSI Ball and throw it to one guy or gal in the public. I did. My PSI ball hitted a guy who woke abruptly from his chair and grabbed a can of coke. He drank the whole can in one gulp and died. I was surprised of what happened. Another psychic threw a PSI Ball to other gal in the crowd. She stood up and grabbed a can of Red Bull. She drank it in one gulp and died as well.

      A third member of the crowd got hit by another PSI Ball, but before she could grab a can of a soda, I threw a bottle of water. She drank from it and did not die. I told the other psychics that sodas were not good. From here, we did some sort of manifestation against soft-drinks distributors.

      I walked to my neighborhood and I saw a few DC (both adults and kids) picking up cash and stuff from the floor. I saw a small banner that said, "Cash drop hour. Next event at 2:45 PM" I figured that some rich people arrived to throw free money. I went upstairs, home, where I met with a random DC. We were watching some TV when she realized that more people was dropping cash. I ran and exited my building. I grabbed a $1,000 bill before it scape, but it had a white face, so it was fake. I focused on picking up as much cash as I could from the ground. However, I arrived late. I realized that at least I could pick up some cash. I had a few $10 bills and two $500 bills. I was happy because I could pay of some credit cards I have some balance left. I also had some credit vouchers from restaurants and some Magic the Gathering cards. I ran home and when I arrived to show the DC all I gathered, I had none. Both the DC and I ran downstairs and exited our home. We saw some people picking up stuff from the floor. The next cash drop event was going to take place in a street, but my friend did not want to go.

      Suddenly, the dream rewinded itself to the beach.
      I realized I just been there, so I turned lucid. My level of lucidity was very low and I had little control over the dream and the plot guided me. I recalled the Cash drop hour and I wanted to be there first, so I decided to teleport there.

      I arrived at my street and I saw a TV where they announced that several people was dying fast. I saw it was the kiosk where I was with those psychics. I felt sorry for them as I knew the solution, but I wanted to be there first so I could take some cash to the waking world.

      I saw a few kids with a big stack of Magic the Gathering cards. One of them told me, "I got his amazing card. It is some awesome! I might throw it at the cash drop even to make it more interesting!" I asked the kid to show me the card. I replied, "It is just Liliana Vess. She is a nice planeswalker, but I got a few of those... she is work about $10... nothing to freak out" The kid showed me some useless cards and some other good, but not big dollar cards.

      I wondered when the cash drop was going to start. I was not sure how long the dream was going to last and I wanted some cash. I asked to myself if I really could take any cash at all.

      It was sunny and I wanted to do something, so I decided to draw a portal with my fingers like I did in the past, with no success... I did not focus really into the task as I wanted to wait for the cash drop thingy. I snapped my fingers twice in order to summon Dreamer, but I neither put a lot of effort, so it failed. I had no control on this dream and I was neither thinking straight. While I waited for the event to happen, I woke up.

    6. Car vs. House

      I was moving up the main cross street to my house. The hill gets very steep at one point, and this is a point I'm very familiar with and had many dreams near in the past. As I reached the stop sign, I noticed a car spinning out of control two houses down on a cross street. It slammed into a house and destroyed the front of it with a crashing noise.

      I (oddly) immediately went looking for people walking nearby to show what happened. I assembled a small group, all within about 50-ft. I insisted they come take a look at what happened. When we passed the steep part of the street, I noticed it was no longer a street. It was painted red and not wide enough to fit cars. I brushed off the weirdness of that - and walked to the location of the accident. There instead, was a showroom with an awesome looking gray sports car. Press agents were around it taking pictures.

      One of the people in my crowd, a blond woman says (in a frustrated tone) "Hey, I thought you said there was an accident!?" To which I replied: "I guess it was a dream."


      Another throw away dream but again displays my newly fragmented dreamscape...
    7. Birthday Stunts and Indian Artifacts

      I tromped on a small dirt path towards a small raised crest. My grandfather led the way and all around me were my sister and two cousins, Emma and Luke. We got to the small crest and looked down. Below us was a steep slope and then a beach of rocks. There was a bayou, or maybe it was a stream, running by it. This was the only accesible part of the beach, there were trees on the other parts.
      Grandpa told us that Mayan indians used to live here, and that we could find many great artifacts here.
      We have a place near his farm where we can pick up old Civil War and Indian objects from the ground.

      We began to look all over the ground. I tried to pick out unusual things from the smooth stones and soon found an odd oval shaped, beige stone. it was about the size of my palm and it had a carving on it that made it resemble a closed fist. One finger pointed forward. I excitedly showed my Grandpa my find and he praised me for my good work. not too long later, Luke picked up an identical rock, but it seemed to be the other hand. That is, he found the left one and I found the right one. My grandpa excitedly picked up a spherical, cream colored stone. There were indentions for the eyes and mouth and a protrusion for the nose that made it resemble a human head. There was a headband on it and some sort of headdress carved in. He showed it to us all.

      We began to search again, but then my grandpa shouted excitedly. We ran over to him. He was standing by a tree. on the tree, hanging, was a clay plate held up by a strip of leather. On it was a large indention, and around that were intricate designs. My grandpa carefully placed the head inside the indention. He decided to leave it there. i thought this was a good idea, as it seemed like it held some special purpose there.
      Grandpa mentioned something about Grandma having dinner waiting, and we returned to her house.
      My dream skipped forward. Somehow I knew i was at my grandmothers house, even though it wasn't.

      I was in a huge arena, with green below and stands all around. The stands were a third of the way filled with my family. i was on a raised platform, high, high in the air. Directly below me were a bunch of red balls. It was my birthday. I was supposed to jump into the balls. They might have been bouncy balls, a puffy trampoline, balloons, or pillows. I was unable to tell from the distance I was at.
      Somebody from my family climbed up to tell me something urgent. Emma was dangerously ill and she wanted to see me. i rushed down.
      Skipped ahead

      I was in a tiny room, about 12 feet by 6 feet. There was no such room in real life. There was a narrow bed and a large window. The bed seemed to double as a sitting swing. I stood by the bed and Emma lay there, talking to me. I laughed with her. She seemed fine, and it was time to go back home, anyway.
      Skip to my lou, my dreamling.
      We were in front of my grandmothers house, getting into our cars by the front gate. I was in third person view watching this, I seemed to be about 40 feet in the air, watching everything. We said our goodbyes.
    8. World Reality Merging

      The past two nights I've had complicated lucid dreams, that I only remember in fragments. I'm not remembering to remain motionless when I wake up, and every move I make weakens my memory of the dreams. They are very weirdly disjointed dreams that possibly mark different brain modes and rhythms. Or possibly just minor adjustments of my head while asleep?

      I was in a multi-storied apartment building crossed with a community center. It had vibrant red checkered floors and lots of friendly people. I was with ex-girlfriends off and on. And I was also with a group of friends and family. At some point I was lucid and started to fly. I vaguely remember a flying Disneyland style tea cup! I was using it to fly others around with me. I also remember passing through "a rip in the dreamscape."

      To my horror, I remember very little about the events leading up to the fantastic conclusion:


      I was standing in front of my Mother and Ex-girlfriend. I was holding a cylindrical rod in my hands. I asked them in a somewhat smug tone: "Do you like how I merged the dream world with the real world, permanently?"


      I remember they were reclined with drinks, looking very comfortable in the luxury high rise apartment I was standing in. I remember reviewing in my mind the portals that merged the "two worlds." The rod was about 1-ft long, made of fine grain wood, and had two silvery caps on each end. Similar in shape to a pipe bomb.

      July 23rd.
      I'm holding a small bottle, placing it horizontally between my two palms, moving it up and down creating waves. Inside, is a dark, opaque red liquid - blood. I do not know whose, but, I do know that it signifies something important. There is a girl near me, although this dream doesn't feel like it will become a nightmare, I know that she is not good news. She asks me to write her something on a paper, and I tell her only if she releases her creatures. She agrees and I go away to a room to write something, however, instead I decide to look through some gold coins she has in a little casket at the side of the room. I'm displeased, so I throw them all out and leave. As I go out I'm in trouble, but not with the girl, but with my health apparently. Doctors swarm around me, someone tells someone else that my blood is O-Negative, I see them carrying little packets of the stuff towards me. I sit down, and suddenly I am alone. To my right is a little table, with drops of blood on it. I take the pin, and put it to my finger, marking the paper then, with my own liquid. My blood looks redder on the table, as dark as anything. Everything feels hazy, magical, and just as I start to feel good again someone appears, but it's hard to make out who for I can't see properly. I think it is a boy, looking at his shadow, I feel like I know who he is. I ready myself to stand up but he leaves and my dream fades away.

    10. Weird Sci-Fi Dream.

      I probably can tell that this dream wasnt lucid. At the beginning of my dream, I am on a decrepid dock that is very torn up and has a gap between 2 pieces of the dock. I walk around on the dock and tried to see a post to walk across the gap but I can't find any in the crystal clear blue water. The people I am with find a way to cross but I still dont see how. Then in the blink of an eye, the dock I am on repairs itself and the sky turns from a rich azure to a crimson-orange color. And then again instantly, the surrounding area turns into a cave with red earth. We are underwater, but we can still breath. We finally reach the end of the tunnel but one female member of our group that has red eyes suddenly freezes with her eyes in a blank stare. It seems that 10 minutes pass until she regains mobile control of herself. We asked her what happened and she said,"I don't know," but then I start to experience deathly shivers coursing through my body. Despite what happens, we start to dig a one foot deep hole. When the hole is somewhat deep, we take a bucket full of old technology and start to bury it with sand and dirt, but the colors of the earth here is tan colored. For some reason, I started to feel like all the happiness had gone from the world. We then started to walk away from the bucket of stuff and then I woke up.

    11. Meeting the Gods

      The first thing I remember is doing a RC. I had a FA, but I kept doing the nose RC, so I realized that I was actually still dreaming. unfortunately my eyes were closed, which is a recipe for disaster for me. I relaxed and tried to DEILD by pulling myself into my HH.

      Eventually I made it into a dream, where I was spinning around in dark water. There were a bunch of glowing red bubbles around me. I surfaced and found myself in a cavern, where there was a line of gods and their animals. I talked to a few of them, asking about their powers and whatnot. One of them, which had a raven on his shoulder, said that his raven served as an extra brain for him.

      Odd Mixture:
      I found myself in my country at a house that I didn’t recognize. It seemed to be a cross between different houses I’ve lived in with some new stuff thrown in as well. There was a balcony to my left with the doors open and I was sitting on some sofa facing a TV. There was something on the TV but I can't recall what it was. I thought that it was probably time for school dismissal. The dream shifts and I found myself crying in some house ruins. Some of the stone pillars were still standing but there was rubble all around me. I said something like “I don’t belong here” and then took some motocycle and left. As I rode on it, it was becoming darker and darker. I kept driving north following the sky which was dark blue and had a dark red line in the middle with some dark red dots around it. I drove past an Indian tribe which was holding a ritual of some kind on my right and my dad who was near a tent on my left with him saying as I went by “We can talk”. I continued, eventually, the sky was totally black and I came upon a temple. It was mostly white. There was a small staircase which led up to another floor which was pretty close to ground level. This second floor had no windows or anything, it was pretty much a meter or so above the ground. On this second floor, there were three doors to chose from. Two small ones on either side and one big one in the middle. The doors were the traditional kind of door where they were all white with no windows and they were similar to the doors of Japanese houses. Supposdly, I dreamt this before so I went to the left door and opened it slightly by sliding it to the right. Inside, I saw three columns of 7 monks or so each wearing orange cloth similar to what buddist's wear sitting down. I could see part of a guy chained in the middle at the back of the room and I could hear a very loud voice screaming at him, something ike a demon or something. I closed the door slowly and remembered that I haven’t saved him yet(did last night?). I also realized that I was still level 1 and had no experience fighting anyone. As I left this temple and went back to my motorcycle, I saw a dark figure appear on my left side and he was running towards me. My first reaction was to start running to escape him and thinking that if I was caught, I would be killed. As I made it to some bushes, I hid so he couldn’t see me. Then I woke up.

      Thoughts: Well, I woke up and upon remembering the dream and the temple, I was pretty excited because it seems that I might have had a similar dream the previous night based on the fact that I remembered that I saved him. My temple might be my dreamsign but have to get more dreams to truly know whether it is or not

    13. Prehistoric Red

      Morning of April 7, 1974. Sunday.



      I am somehow in the distant past in my “orb” form, though not sure if the implied journey was by time machine, by mental will, or due to some sort of cosmic event (as there is no recalled backstory).

      Everything has a sort of strange red glow, not all the same shade, but close. There are reddish dinosaurs such as brontosaurus (apatosaurus) and “cavemen” with red hair living during the same time period. Some of these cavemen, however, are more like stereotypical movie vikings and wearing horned helmets and carrying spears with reddish arrowheads. I have a strange impression that this shade of red is “extinct” and had only existed during these more “primitive” times. The red lava seems to pose a possible threat to this world but I am not bothered.



      Red dominating a dream’s rendering sometimes relates to having slept a bit too long and such seems to be the case here.
    14. The Story of Red

      Morning of January 11, 1970. Sunday.



      This was another favorite dream for a time, also at nine, and it had a few visually precognitive elements relative to Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball’s careers several years later. In my dream, I was in some sort of movie they were making called “The Story of Red”, which also had songs and poetry. (Oddly, I did not originally document the play on the fact that they were both redheads. In fact, this part “escaped” me completely at that age, for some reason.) There were some very moving scenes. I was given a special pair of red glasses that only allowed me to see in red (or rather - allowed me to only see things that were red - everything else was just a black background otherwise). I listen to the music, poetry, and the special narration. I look into blackness (seemingly from the doorway of an unknown kitchen - which seemed to be precognitive relative to a later location I had not been in prior) and see the beauty of a fire truck (and hear its seemingly melancholy siren - which seems to manifest a strange “false nostalgia” in my dream) going to put out a fire. I feel very aware. The fire truck seems to be moving towards me, but not directly, as it is oriented more to the right.

      Later on, there is more poetry, often starting out with something like “red…the color of an apple…” - and talking about the beauty of the seasons (such as regarding autumn leaves) and such.

      Near the end of my dream, I am seemingly living in a basement in a (fictional?) house where both Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball live (as if they are somehow both my mothers, perhaps). (This seems related to an episode of “The Lucy Show” that I saw on the night of October 31, 1966. In fact, it seems there was a “prototype” of this dream on that date.) Features of the room also resemble the apartment on Rose Street, where I had not lived in about four years.

      I am eventually in a folding bed (rollaway cot) near an old winter stove (almost as if I am preparing to wake up by going to sleep within the dream). All of a sudden, hundreds of pieces of coal (or charcoal briquettes) emerge from the stove (far more than it could actually realistically hold) into the room, like some sort of “flood” and I “float” on top near the end of my dream, getting higher and higher for a short time. It seems a bit odd and rhythmic and almost like a body function. It is somewhat like a hypnopompic experience though I am still fully in-dream.

      It is also likely that there is a play on the expression about “rose-colored glasses” relative to my dream, which is mentioned in my original documentation. There is also a scene where I look in a mirror and see only the glasses floating in the air.

      This dream is type ECA. Fire is often present as emergent consciousness, but in this curious and unusual segment at the end of this very long dream, I am lifted from my small rollaway bed as my emergent consciousness is depicted as countless charcoal briquettes (or coal) that pour out of a small stove into my room. The amount of coal is much greater than the stove could have contained. I wake at exactly this point (though the coal does not burn and it is not implied to be hot or threatening - in fact, I find this transition amusing, and there is an odd “visual stuttering effect” as I rise higher as if my emergent consciousness can not quite “ignite” at first).
