    1. The Black Mirror/Another Demension

      Here I am being at this weird house. I am with a bunch of guys. They had a mirror that looked black. I really didn't like the feeling of the mirror, Suddenly the mirror split in pieces. It scattered into another dimension. The pieces some how went through my right leg and my leg was the portal. I was wondering why was my leg a freaking portal? Then the guys told me we have to go and collect those black pieces of the glass of the mirror before something bad happens.

      Then they told me I am a portal and they had to go through my leg. So they did. And they dragged me along with me. I ended up in front of a white house that looked old. Not really old but just old, It was like I was in another dimension. The atmosphere seemed great. Everything was realistic, it was extremely vivid. I turned around and saw a mirror. It looked like I saw an old lady looking out through her curtains. Then suddenly I ran into Chuck Norris, He appeared right in front of me before my eyes when I turned around. I could feel the ground and felt the air.

      He was telling me stuff about this place and this dimension. He told me there is a witch that lives in that house. She uses white magick for helping others, This place is paradise. I was wondering what I can do in a strange neighbor hood like this, It was really quiet. I really wish I could explore it. Then the dream ended.

    2. On The Road to Remembering

      The other night I had a dream about this guy who I believed to be the love of my life (sounds cheesy, I know). I can't remember much of it because I have a terrible memory. About half way through my shift at work I started crying because I started remembering my dream and quickly realised he wasn't real; I'd never find him again.. It was a sad day.

      Anyhow, there were three parts of the dream I remember:
      1 - He was sitting amongst a group of people in one of those fold up chairs that you would take to the beach or something. He had blondy/brown shaggy hair and although I can't remember his face, boy was he amazing. I remember us just looking at each other and giving small smiles. His brother was in a chair too; he had short black spiky hair. I'm so frustrated I can't remember more..

      2 - The second bit I remember is me and my mum sitting in chairs across from him and his brother over a glass table outside. It reminded my of the one at my dads, but it wasn't. We were talking about the gig I'm going to today actually, but in the dream it was coming up. My mum asked if they were playing at the gig and they said they weren't, they were just coming to see. This made sense to me because it's near where we live and heaps of people are coming to it cause it's a really good local line-up. Anyhow, he and his brother were in a band though. It wasn't focused on what type of music or anything, it was just a fact as if it was something I knew for a while.

      3 - The last scene I remember, although I know a lot more happened within the dream, was me standing near a bus stop or the side of the road for some unknown reason. It was bright and green and just beautiful. The place reminded me of those American movies in the suburbs where huge green trees line the streets. I can't remember too much of this part cause I'm getting it confused with another. He was there with me and he kissed me. And it was the most amazing first kiss in the world, and just felt natural and not dramatic and stuff.. It was perfect

      So, for those of you who care to know, this is why I'm on this site. I want to learn to LD so that I might be able to see him again.. I want to remember what his face looks like, I want that place with him to be an escape.
      Call me crazy.

    3. less recall lately

      my one was at a store......i was with my boyfriend......we had ice cream and walked around the nearby walmart for something to do......then i was going with my parents.....and they drove a while to get to that one.....and i didn't like it because it was a small one.......and we went in a bus and my sister sat in front of me and kept turning around and slapping me and kicking me with high heals.......and i was buying towels (which were stolen by one of my roommates lately irl)

      the other one was me in high school......i was sitting in the advanced classes room.....and the teacher was saying i should take an iq test......for fun.....plus she wanted to know........and put it on the shelf at the side.....so others could take it too if they wanted to.....and then she was talking about a test in the psyc. class that was coming up......and i made a face because i don't like tests....especially ones with essays/short answer.....and she said to not make that face...that it'll be fun.....because it's stuff that i find interesting.....(there was this test irl that she said would be fun before because we had to act like real psychologists and diagnose the patient from the case study with the information she gave and was convinced that that would be a fun part to the test)
    4. The Emotion in His Eyes...

      So this is a dream I had from last night <3

      I was at the church with the guy I like. I was sitting on the stairs near the stage area in the front of the sanctuary. I was sitting on the right side where the drums are. After a while I stood up and we walked around the sanctuary, it was just the two of us. For some reason, he randomly was outside and I could see him out the window. It was overcast, and there was a slight drizzle of rain. He came back in and we stood on the stage, this time over to the left in the back of the stage. He held me close to him and...(I'm not sure how to explain this) put his forehead on mine and touched the end of my nose with his. He looked into my eyes and I saw my own emotions reflecting back at me. He just stared into my eyes for a long time, until, slowly, the dream faded into darkness and I woke up, my heart beating quickly in my chest.


      What I find weird, is that when I dream about him, everything feels real, like it should happen. When I wake up, I'm surprised that it was only a dream. I don't understand why I dream about him so much, and why we're always at church when I dream about him.

      I wonder if he likes me just as I like him, because in this dream, I felt so close to him, and we realized just how strong the bond was between us. He acts like he likes me, but I can't be sure. It's just, I wish these dreams would come true, but I don't know... Maybe there's no chance of me and him ever being more than friends, but well... I won't go on and on...

    5. What about pointed sticks?

      I had a lucid last night, it might have ranked among my top ten best lucids. Enjoy. :3

      I was in the 8th grade hall of my school, having a conversation with a friend about, ironically, lucid dreaming. The dismissal bell had rung; everybody, in colorful clothes, was heading downstairs via the double staircase and to the door beside of it. My friend departed, and I didn't pay attention to where he was going, but by the looks of it, he was going to fall down the stairs.

      I was shortly outside, walking on the path to the bus loop that went along the mostly glass side of the school. Somewhere along the way I met another friend, distinguishable from his ethnicity and his green coat. Also, along the way, I became
      lucid. I continued walking, to prevent myself from getting too excited.

      I marveled at how real everything was, everything was so accurate. I took this path every day for two years, and I'm still walking it this year, but I was still very impressed. Even the ditch that had been recently filled in, only this week, was accurate. The only flaws were a giant dollar weed growing next to the filled in ditch, and the lack of chalk paintings beneath my feat.



      I was now on the asphalt road to the bus loop. Garbage trucks and other kinds of large trucks parked here. The light dimmed, mist seeped in around the sides of of the building and the surrounding forest. I just went along with it. My initial lucidity is usually followed by some sort of event that seemed to try to knock me back into non lucidity, usually I give in. Not this time.

      "He's coming," I heard somebody whisper. Sound's just about right, it always seems to be a DC trying to confront me.

      The basket ball court, a way's away, expanded to the size of a football field, and I was on top of it. The mist turned into a dark gray fog. I saw a dash at the fog's edge, chasing somebody.

      It was really fast, like a ninja. According the the blur, the attacker was white with blonde hair, and he throws his arms back and leans forward at he runs.

      I run around aimlessly, hoping for a sigh of the dream character. While running, I stuck a hand out and barely caught a pen, being thrown like a knife, from hitting another DC on the field. I smirked and said something incoherent, as it was hard to focus. I hadn't come derailed at all from the dream; concentration was just a little rough. I ran in pursuit of the attacker.

      At some point, I stumbled, and as I caught my self from the fall, a rather late idea emerged;

      I should stabilize the dream!


      (Author's note: If you're one of those people who like music while reading about fights, I'd recommend this.)

      "Anchor dream," I managed to blurt out. The dream immediately stabilized by at least five times. It had already been realistic; but it was like I was playing a video game, now I was actually there. I noticed after stabilized that my vision was about to black out before. I suppose I caught my fall more ways than one.

      A swift force dropped me to the ground and rolled me over, and the attacker was standing on top of me, a short, pointed stick pulled back in his left hand, and a dragon shaped kazoo held less then a foot from my face in his right.

      Perfect.

      I moved the kazoo aside with a forearm, feeling it's jagged wooden texture, the feelings of the spikes on the dragon kazoo were that of the dull edge of a wooden cube.

      The attacker, no older that thirteen, thrust his stick forward, towards my chest. As I intercepted, I noticed from the feeling of his momentum that he was only applying brute force and no technique other than a few fancy stances. Many principles of waking life combat are not present in lucid dreaming, needless to say. But I could name a few.

      The dream character I was fighting was fast, but within limit. I kept his arms away from his center so he lacked protection and so he would take longer to recover. I disarmed him from his stick by drawing a circle with his wrist, and I made it burst into flames by setting my hand on fire. I reached out towards him with my flaming hand and he scampered back ten feet, and I stood up.

      The dream transitioned to a bedroom, lit by a window. The ceiling was slanted, it was part of the roof. The boy who attacked me was sitting in a corner for reason, and I made him vanish on a whim. I contemplated on flying through the window, wondering if I would fit. The corners of my vision began fading quickly. My single attempt to re-stabilize the dream failed, and I blacked out into the insides of my eyelids, which I opened. I did a reality check using the digital clock on my dresser. I was
      awake.

      But then I fell asleep again, and I can recall some dream about a squad of seven jet fighters that ended sadly with a nuke and them all being incinerated.

      So that was cool.

      I was in my living room which was as brightly lit as it usually is in the day time. My partner was there and she was talking to someone else in the room, aside me. I think this was my dad but I don't remember anything else.
    7. A Different Kind of Flambé - Cherry on Fire

      Notes:
      I was half-asleep a few nights ago and got some nonsensical imagery of flames, elephants and fruits, cherries being one of them. I then got the random idea to set a cherry on fire in an upcoming lucid. I didn't plan on doing it this soon because I had more dated goals, but in this LD, my logic wasn't completely turned on and my memory of waking life events wasn't too good. When lucid, I thought about what I wanted to do for a few moments, and only remembered to do the cherry thing. If I had the awareness I would've done something else, but...

      A final note, I had this dream after waking up in the middle of the night for two hours, feeling really sick, then going back to bed when my stomach settled down. I did a few RCs and awareness sessions during this time. As for the dream itself, I was pretty tired and fell asleep right away, so I'm surprised I remember as much of it as I do.

      I was in my "house", except this wasn't quite my actual house. It was a single square room, probably only 15x15 feet, and it was darkly-lit so I couldn't see what kind of flooring it had. I did see the walls were a lighter blue with a slight green tint, and the molding around the ceiling and along the floor was white, and relatively plain. The room was divided in two equal sections by another wall, of the same color, that ran from one side of it to the other. It had a large, clean rectangular opening so that if you were to look at the wall, you'd see the other half of the room. The opening in the dividing wall must have been three feet tall and six feet wide, and positioned more to the left side. On the right was a basic open doorway, with no door.

      I was standing on one side of this wall and looking at the other side; it consisted of a basic kitchen countertop, white in color with dark wooden cabinets. There were no chairs or tables, or a fridge, just the counters. The center of the room had a warm yellow light shining down on it, which dissipated towards the walls of the room. In the half of the room I was in, there was little lighting except a bit coming in from a window. When you looked out the window, you could see a very dark, pale blue street with snow. That seems to be a common setting for houses in my dreams.

      I leaned up against the opening of the wall and put my arms over the foot-thick structure; I became lucid as I did this. I noticed the appearance of the opening change a bit; before it was just lined by the blue-green wall, but now it was lined with polished, lighter wood (bamboo-color?). It was like the lining of a windowsill. I counted my fingers, one, two, three, four, five... But I knew better than to assume anything by just using the finger check, so I plugged my nose and I could breathe; the air felt still and it was room temperature. I also noted the location I was in, and then realized it was a combination of my old house's living room and a kitchen.

      For stabilization, I took a few steps back and looked at the wood on the rectangular wall opening; I could see a few small holes in it, probably the size of thumbtack heads, but it wasn't littered with them. I then put my right hand on the wood and moved it along, seeing how it felt. It felt like polished wood, where there was a bit of friction and it took slightly more effort to move my hand. It was realistic; the more intensely I observed the wood, the cooler it felt. I then rubbed my hands together and tried to think about what my dream goals were; after ten seconds I remembered wanting to set a cherry on fire, so I held my right hand out in front of me, forming a fist. After doing this, I moved my thumb out to the right and my last for digits downwards a bit, imagining a cherry to roll up a bit from inside my grip. A maraschino cherry appeared; it was bright red like the real thing, but the stem was half the size it should've been, and it was very slightly transparent, making its color a bit lighter than normal. I looked closely at it, then started to use pyrokinesis. I imagined warmth coming from the cherry and saw that the places where my hand was touching it ripple outward slightly, and these ripples glowed orange. The left and right of the cherry then started to show a sleek flame coming up from either side; this flame was mostly red-orange but also had some yellow blended in.

      It took about a minute to get a flame to fully encapsulate the cherry, but I did it. The flame was very realistic and seemed to come mostly from the bottom and rise up and around the cherry, but a few smaller licks of fire came from in between the fruit and where I was touching it. I'd never seen so realistic flames in a dream before, so I was mesmerized! I didn't feel a burn from the fire coming from the cherry, but just a slight 'fuzziness', as if I was rubbing my fingers against a chalkboard.

      The cherry looked the same as it did initially, not burning or anything. But as the dream started to end, I popped the cherry into my mouth. It tasted like pure white sugar. The outside was crispy as if it had been charred, though when I was holding it before, it was soft and visibly unaffected by the fire.


      I tried a DEILD, but it failed because I accidentally opened my eyes!

    8. My Most Realistic Lucid Ever

      So I finally decided to start an online dream journal. I will most likely only post lucids and memorable dreams. I know there are several grammatical and wording errors. I tend to type/write a certain way even though it might be wrong.

      I woke up still feeling sleepy this morning. Instead of going back to sleep, I went to talk with my sister for awhile. We talked about dreams for about 15 minutes. I went back to bed.

      I fell asleep after about an hour. I realized that a dream was starting so I made to sure pay enough attention so I knew I was dreaming but not enough to wake myself. After a few moments, I realize that I am sitting in a classroom. I can hear students talking and the teacher calling roll. I was afraid to move because I was able to feel my body still in bed but I was also able to feel my dream body. I waited awhile longer for the dream to stabilize. I moved my dream arm to see if it was safe to continue.

      Suddenly the dream hit me at full force. Everything felt incredibly real. It almost felt realer than real life if that makes any sense. I looked around the classroom, felt my desk, and listened to my surroundings. This really helped stabilize the dream. I had no fear of waking now.

      The teacher was still calling roll. The dream characters was also very realistic. They all had their own individual conversations. I had no interest in listening. I decided that I would leave the classroom. I almost reconsidered and had to remind myself that I was dreaming and I didn't have to stay. I made my way to the door. "Where are you going?," the teacher asked. I told him that I was leaving. I was laughing to myself because I would never do such a thing in real life. He want to know my name to put on the roll but I ignored him.

      The hallway was full of teenagers. Some were talking with friends or going through there lockers. I didn't know what I wanted to do in this dream. I decided to summon a creature. I imagined an alligator like thing. It was able to stand upright and talk for some reason. The creature grabbed me and tried to eat me. In fear of losing control, I let him do it. I was about halfway into his mouth when I decided to do reality checks. I observed my surroundings again. The air was hot, moist and smelled like stomach acid. The smell was so strong I had to keep myself from gagging. I remembered that throwing up wasn't necessary so I stopped feeling nauseous. The walls the creature's throat was very smooth, warm and a little slimy. Despite being halfway into the throat, I was able to see its stomach. The stomach acid smelled really bad and had a neon green color. I knew being closer to liquid would probably increase the smell so I decided to crawl out of the creature's mouth. I felt a little strange because of the dream characters staring. Usually dream characters disappear when I don't think about them but these characters never left. I felt a little better when I saw the creature gagging in the corner.

      I exited the school. I didn't remember walking out of it. I was worried that I would wake up soon so I did reality checks again.(Note: I find the nose RC to be very useful and reliable.You don't have to use your hands to do it and you can do it at any time.) I also took this time to observe my surroundings and re-anchor myself to increase stability. Again, I was astounded by how realistic everything was. I was able to feel the slight breeze and coldness of the air. It was late afternoon and the sky had a dark purple to blue gradient. There was a neighborhood outside the school. Most of the houses had two stories and had similar styles which reminded me of a neighborhood in a dream I had several years ago. There were many trees. Each house probably had a tree or two in the yard. There were people walking around. They all wore costumes and walked house to house. I had a feeling that it was Halloween. I also felt that it wasn't Halloween but something very similar to it.

      I walked into the middle of the street. "Let's show them my "costume"," I thought to myself. For some reason, I found the thought to be funny so I laughed a little. I did the usual thing I do when I transform. I threw myself toward the ground to stand on all fours while imagining my usual wolf form. I think it looks similar to the Mexican wolf or a wolf with brownish black fur with light brown splotches in some area.(I'm not really sure about this.) The nearby dream characters began to screamed and run away. I started laughing and felt empowered. I felt proud that they were afraid of me. I usually would attack and kill for fun but the sound of their screams and expressions made me feel a bit guilty. I saw one of the characters pointing toward the sky. I then realized that they weren't afraid of me but of the large meteor hurling toward the neighborhood.

      Now somewhat afraid, I returned to my human form and ran to look for cover. I had somewhat forgotten that I was able to stop this but I doubted myself. While running, a boy, around seven or eight years old, started to run with me. He had brown/blonde hair and blue eyes. He was also looking for a place to hide. We ran into the backyard of a house. There was something like a storage area. It had a roof but no walls. We sat underneath it for a few minutes. I was still able to hear people screaming in the distance. I waited for the impact but it never happened. I was confused so I just decided that it wasn't that big and wouldn't effect my current area.

      I went to explore some more. The boy followed me. I wondered if I should speak to him but I knew that this dream was long enough. I would most likely forgot most of it. While I was deciding if I should wake myself up so I can write in my private journal, I watched the sky. The sky was the same color as before but there were small orange streaks that would occasionally fly across the sky. I stopped walking when I reached another street. There was a house or two and an overpass. There was a city in the distance.

      Suddenly, a larger meteor appeared. People began to panic again. I felt confident that I would be able to stop it. I wanted to save the city and the dream characters. I remembered Kamehameha move from Dragon Ball Z. As I got into position, I realized that the meteor was moving very fast and would hit the city if I took too long. Instead of yelling out the entire name, I yelled "-hameha" and thrusted my palms into the direction of the meteor. Nothing happened. I was a bit disappointed until I saw a small blue flash on the meteor. The meteor exploded into dust with a very loud crack. The people around me cheered and thanked me.

      I suddenly got tunnel vision and lost feeling of my dream body. I knew I was probably waking up and remembered to stay still. Once everything turned black, I imagined a new scene so I can continue.

      I managed to enter a new dream without losing any clarity. I didn't get to do anything eventful because I woke up about thirty seconds later.

      Sorry about the really long post. This dream was the most realistic dream I have ever had. I felt that summarizing it would make it less fun to read. If anyone actually reads dream journals.
    9. My Fear

      Yesterday I had a dream that I was in my house, and of course I didn't think of performing an RC, but everything looked exactly like my house so yeah. Anyways, I have an irrational fear of roaches ever since one almost flew on me since I was five. In the dream, there were a bunch of roaches (a ridiculous amount for sure, but still... it was a plausible amount at the same time) and all of them were in the same spot. Not in the same exact spot, but in every room they were on the wall at the very top right before it turns into the ceiling. Me and my sister were spraying some of them with roach spray as we saw them (which is weird because I would never do that since I'm very afraid of them....) >.>

      I also had an inappropriate dream that was also unrealistic that I don't feel comfortable mentioning. :/
    10. First Lucid (7 Years Old, Dream Chain)

      I decided to go ahead and put my first lucid dream into my dream journal. I also added the dreams that led up to this lucid. These dreams happened over 3 days when I was 7 years old.

      In the first dream I had, I was standing out on my school's playground. The sky started to turn red. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up at the sky. I remember there being a large cloud over us, and I think it was skull shaped. There was a sense dread and impending doom. Everyone was looking up at the sky horrified. (They looked kind of funny staring at the sky with their jaws dropped actually. ) I went back inside the school and I walked up to the library on the 3rd floor. There was another kid there staring out the window with a book. I asked, "Why is the sky red?" He responded dramatically, "The world coming to an end!"

      I woke up shortly after that. I thought this dream was kind of weird and creepy, but I didn't pay much attention to it until the next day.

      In the second dream, it was a continuation from the last dream, but it took place on the day after the sky turned red. The sky was still red this day with the large cloud in the sky. I started my dream in front of my school. I didn't see anyone around the school or on the playground, so I went inside thinking that I was late. I entered a hallway, but it was dark, empty, and a mess inside. There was still no one in sight, no noise, and no sign of life. Desks and chairs were knocked over in the hallway, there was rubble on the floor, the wall was half destroyed, and the floor was cracked. At this point I was really starting to feal fear because I felt like the last guy in the world, I was scared of whatever destroyed everything, and I remembered the kid from the last dream saying that the world was coming to an end. Despite my fear, I continued down the hallway to find my classroom.

      My dream ended and I woke up right before I would have entered my classroom. This dream felt more realistic than the last one and it was scarier for me. I even watched the sky half of the day wondering if it would turn red.

      The third and final dream continued right about where the last one left off. It started with me sitting in the dark room at my desk. There was still no living thing in sight. I again started to wonder where everyone was for a few seconds. As I was thinking about this, the lights flashed on and all my classmates and my teacher seemed to flash into view with the light. They just walked around the room and worked on a project as if they had been there the whole time. I got up from my desk and asked my teacher, "Where did everyone go?" Everyone just turned and glared at me with angry expressions on there face. As they focused on me, their eyes started to glow red. In my mind all I could think was they wanted to chase me and kill me. And of course, they started to chase me out the door.

      I ran back out into the hallway and then out to the playground. As I ran up the hill on the playground, I stared up at the sky and noticed it was still red and had the large cloud. I remembered this from the past 2 dreams and said to myself, "Wait! I'm dreaming!" I stopped at the top of the hill and turned to face the mob. I wanted to wake myself up before the mob could get to the top of the hill. Without giving it much thought, I started screaming, "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" As I said this, pictured my real body hidden behind the red sky until I could feel it. I then tried to kick my legs and lift my arms. This required a lot of effort though. As I tried to lift my arms and legs, it felt like someone was pulling them back down. When the mob was about half way up the hill, the dream faded away.


      My eyes opened and I was punching and kicking the air with ease. I was sweating and my heart was racing, but I knew I was now sitting safely in bed. I soon got really excited after that because I never had a dream where I knew I was dreaming before. As I started to get more dreams like this, I called them "super dreams" because it felt like a different side of me took over and played as a super hero. They were mostly triggered by nightmares, and this new part of me was like a self defense mechanism against nightmares. It wasn't until I was 13 that I learned there was a name for these dreams and they didn't have to be related to nightmares.

      My Thoughts on these Dreams

      Aside from the apocalypse aspect of it, that was awesome! A couple "super dreams" later, and I learned that I didn't have to run from nightmares. I could fight them! Always felt awesome. This is one of my favorite dream chains even though it was a continuous nightmare.

      I think the reason why whenever I try to wake myself up and something pulls me down is because of sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis isn't my best friend when trying to get away from a mob.

    11. Nightmare: Extremely Realistic Alternate Life

      The following dream I had on 5-hours sleep. This would have been my 3rd REM cycle which means this dream may have been over 45-minutes long. It was extremely, extremely, realistic. To the point that when I woke up I felt I had not been home in days or weeks. The visual quality, in complete honesty, was more vivid than real life. I say this because in real life our eyelashes block our view and veins in our eyes can make some lighting conditions slightly blurry. I have 10/20 vision so this was not a product of wearing or needing glasses or contacts.

      I woke up. My long time friend Lynn was massaging my right hand as I did. She didn't look completely sober and she seemed very bleary and passionate about giving me this hand massage. I felt uneasy, because I have a jealous girlfriend and I was wondering how I let myself alone with Lynn in a room.

      Sitting in the room on a chair a few feet from my bed was an earthy/hippy looking guy in his mid 20's with rusty blond hair and beard. Lynn was saying something to me about working my energies or something. She eventually got off my bed and headed out the door. The guy sitting there laughingly told me about how Lynn had pulled a similar stunt and acted really weird to someone else recently in attempt to practice her Chinese medicine.

      I did not recognize the room I was in. It was beige, metallic, somewhat cramped and had no windows. I felt confused as to where I was or how I got there. The guy started making small talk (which I don't recall and) I wasn't paying much attention, as I had a sinking feeling I was some how terribly lost.

      The guy suggested I go into the living room with him, so I got out of bed and followed him. The living room looked shabby and unimpressive. We sat down on a brownish colored sofa and continued to talk as I desperately tried to orient myself. Soon afterward, one by one, all my "roommates" came home. There must have been at least ten other people I appeared to be living with. I didn't know who any of them were, but they all seemed very familiar with me.

      They all sat around talking to each other about various things. (This part of the dream could have easily lasted 10-minutes by itself.) I sort of made excuses for myself for not knowing what the hell was going on. I just woke up. I didn't feel too hot. But eventually admitted, "I have no idea who any of you are!" They laughed it off, and implied I had done too many drugs or something the night before. I started to become terrified of the possibility I had a massive case of amnesia. I hid it, but inside the fear was swelling up strongly.

      Then, Sabrina, a girl I haven't seen in many, many years walked in with a big smile. She looked thinner and healthy and I stood up to greet her. I somewhat shouted for joy. "Sabrina! Now you I know!" Everyone laughed. At this point I said "Now I don't know if I'm dreaming or not." I was so relieved to see another person I knew, the fear level dropped and I could pretend to fit in a little. (This part of the dream could have lasted another 10-minutes.)

      Eventually my girlfriend walked in and it looked like she had just got off work. She looked sweet and very calm like she had a good day. When I saw her I felt desperate to take her aside and confide in her how lost and uncertain I felt. She told me "Lets go up to our apartment." I felt relieved, because I thought we all lived in that small unit together and I couldn't understand why I would ever choose to live that way.

      We walked into the halls which were also metallic and had dark worn-out atmosphere difficult to put into words. The place looked futuristic but extremely old like something from the movie Bladerunner. I followed my girlfriend up flights of stairs like a lost puppy. She remained calm and not alarmed. On the way up the stairs I asked her "Can we go back to my home? I just want to know that it's still real." She laughed it off and we walked to our apartment door.

      At this point I turned around and saw a crazed looking man was following closely behind me. I opened our door, which sealed like the door of a submarine and had a bright red glowing light above the thick black metallic peep hole. I seemed to know how to open it perfectly well and I shoved her in the door, followed, then double locked ourselves in. Checking the locks from inside, they seemed loose.

      Our door entered close to the kitchen. The place looked even darker, more cramped, and less inviting than the first apartment. I was starting to become very, very, uncomfortable again. Our apartment was divided into three floors. The basement level I never went to, but it was nearly pitch black save for a few red LED's on the walls. I followed her upstairs to our bedroom area. There laying on a chair was a very pale girl with shorts on sitting on a chair half dazed.

      I was alarmed, but my GF explained that was only our roommate. I told her I couldn't take this place any more and asked if we could go for a walk outside. She agreed, and we left through a side door and went outside where there was only an empty parking lot, and gray looking forest. We walked into the forest and I started to feel dizzy. (The dream started to destabilize.) Horror struck again...

      I put my arm around her for balance and asked "Am I mentally retarded now? Did I have some sort of accident?" She only just slightly smiled and looked at me. --Then I woke up.

      I want to emphasize, when I woke up I felt I hadn't seen my bedroom in at least 2-3 days. I felt like a stranger to my own life, and I noticed that my real room was not as visually intense as my dream room.

      So, April 11, 2010. Real world. Me, dad, and younger brother went going fishing with a family friend called Mr. Kim and his son, who's my brother's friend.
      Background information is important! In the car on the way to the lake, I felt dizzy and had a headache. I was drifting in that half-conscious state, and half wondered if I was sick. The more imaginative side of me played around with the idea that I was about to faint. I didn't know what it felt like to faint, and I imagined it might feel something like this.
      When I got to the lake, we set up chairs and the dads began fishing. I was sitting a bit above them, as the ground rose up as a hill. I covered by face with my jacket, and slowly drifted off to sleep.

      dream 1.
      I'm at a mall, nowhere I've ever been. My best friend is with me. We're walking around and suddenly Homer, from the Simpsons, appears. His head's been shrunken and he wants his regular size back. Then I take his place, shrunken, but simultaneously I'm carrying myself. Just a regular, silly dream.
      But then I wake up.
      I'm at home, my living room. It's exactly the same as my house, and I recognize it clearly. The details are strong in my mind, which is unusual for me. My television, the couch, the table... it's all in the right place. I'm on an air mattress (one I know we own), and sleeping bags (all familiar) are around me. I see Mr. Kim's son and my brother and my dad are sleeping in them.
      Now, you have to understand how real this felt. I sat up and wondered, "Am I hallucinating?" I thought I was supposed to still be at the lake. I contemplated whether it was possible that I had managed to sleep through everything. I truly thought I was at home, but that was impossible, wasn't it?
      Mr. Kim, apparently awake, comes to sit beside me on the mattress. He asks me if I'm alright. I ask what happened. He replies, concerned and surprised at my ignorance, "Jenny, your heart gave out!"
      I sit, shocked.
      Then I wake up for real.

      My jacket was still covering my face, and so I could only see my stomach. Even awake, I didn't move. My body couldn't really. I was still half asleep. I feel dizzy and as if I was on a boat. I wondered if I was really back at the lake. I muster up the energy to check briefly, and then drift away again.

      dream 2.

      I'm dizzy and can't see. I'm blind but can see; the way dream logic works. I'm with my cousins in a car, with a screen in front of me. It's an internet browser, and I mess around with tabs and delete history like I have a habit of doing in real life, because it makes the drop-down bar look messy.
      I run out of the car. Something to do with a werewolf happens.
      It's just another silly dream.

      I woke up, but don't move. My mind was whirring, but I didn't move at all. Without noticing, I fell back asleep.

      dream 3.

      I wake up in the fishing site. It looks exactly the same, except there's a portable shade thing, with a faucet next to a tree. I believe I woke up in real life, and immediately get up.
      Mr. Kim mock-scolds me, "Do you know how much trouble you caused us?" I laugh, not truly thinking about what he said. My dad laughs while my brother and his friend runs to clean their feet in the faucet.
      I notice my socks are dirty. I hop over to the faucet, trying to stay on the slate stepping stones (which have mysteriously appeared at some point, but I don't notice) because the sand is hot. The sand is hot, and I don't want to get my socks dirtier...
      Then I woke up.

      So that was my dreaming experience for that day. I still remember it vividly, even after almost a year. It was pretty cool, but I was kind of freaked out at the time. Not one of my more exciting dreams, to be sure, but still pretty cool.
      I love dreams.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      I saw a normal dream, that i cannot recall.
      I woke up in my bed (first false awakening), stood up and looked at a wall in my room. I suddenly realized i was dreaming. Everything became super clear. I can easily say it was the most realistic dream, i 've ever seen. I had a strange feeling in my hands. I started rubbing them. The dream started fading. I closed my eyes and thought "spin spin spin", but my hands were busy rubbing each other, so for some reason i started spinning just my eyes, which of course didn't work. I woke up, completely frustrated and pissed off... :S
    14. First night of attempted SD and nightmare-fixing

      My cousin is sleeping over for a few days, and we are trying to have a shared dream together. As she was falling alseep she twitched a lot. She told me it was from bad dreams. We will fix this

      NIGHT 1:

      Dream 1:

      I was with a few friends outside my house. It was cloudy. We were just playing around and having fun, then we went inside and there was something wrong, like a feeling of imminent danger. I thought how cool it would be if it was a dream. I said it out loud, and everyone in the room was all like "Does this LOOK like a dream to you?".

      The dream looked and FELT so real. It was the most convincing dream I have ever had. Nevertheless, I said "This is a dream," just to be sure. Then the lucidity "unlocked" and I got goosebumps. I ran out the door and I think I flew, then a noise woke me up instantly.

      Dream 2:

      I was at primary school (OMG) doing work experience. I hadn't been there the last few days in the dream, so when I went to my supervising teacher to ask where to go, she said "Who were you with before?". I tried to remember, but no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't remember the teacher's name. So I tried to describe her and how she had curly hair but it's naturally straight, and she curls it using those cylinder things you put in your hair. She had no idea who I was talking about, so I just went to a random classroom.

      Turns out she was another teacher I had. She was angry at me for not being here for a few days, but in my head I thought it was a public holiday. The kids were grade 1 so they were being taught the first five letters of the alphabet, and they all repeated it.

      Later I was in the main concrete area, and I saw my church friends. IRL, we had just come back from a camp in a place called Toowoomba, which is having horrific floods at the moment. We escaped one day before the place flooded.
      Suddenly we were at a campsite (didn't see THAT coming) and we were walking around some random bush track, but the bush wasn't very thick, and the path was very wide like a road.
      There was water on the path, like a massive puddle about 30 metres long. We had just walked through it when we heard an announcement saying that the water was electrified from lightning and was poisonous as well. I stayed at the edge of the puddle, but my friend LostInLA started wading back through the water to where we came from, thinking it was better. I called out but she didn't hear me.

      Dream 3:

      I was at a beach place, like where I normally go for a holiday. My mum and dad were driving me to the unit we have rented. It was a nice day, but the whole time there was a feeling of imminent danger. We were inside the unit, and my dad was in the bathroom grooming in the mirror as if for a special occasion. My mum was nearby. In my room, there was a toilet next to my bed.
      For some reason, I asked my mum if I could jerk off before we go (seriously wtf?), to which she explained that I'm not supposed to ask, just not be caught :S.
      We were outside again and I think that "danger" came and I woke up


      In all the dreams, it was cloudy. Today it was cloudy.


      Cousin's dream:

      She was with me and her mum at the shops near her house, and it flooded.

    15. Night Hike on the Freeway

      About a week ago, I went to bed worried. I recently lost a very important journal and I was attempting to clear my mind to remember where I might have hidden in. I started to dream instantly when I fell asleep - which has only occurred a few times in my life. I was not attempting a W.I.L.D.:

      I suddenly found myself walking on 101 (a 5-lane freeway in California) in the middle of the last lane before the fast lane. I paused to look around. Even though it was a starless night, I could see in perfect clarity and the visuals were photo realistic or better. I walked a few steps forward towards an overpass that was maybe 20-ft ahead. In the dark, I heard a car crash in the lane ahead just beyond the freeway overpass. I couldn't see that far in the darkness... But, I could hear car parts flying everywhere.

      One large piece of a car door came skidding directly towards me and stopped just at my feet. The visuals were so vivid, that I instantly suspected I was dreaming. I looked around again, no other cars or people were around. I moved my hand up as if to direct myself into the air. I levitated off the ground, above the height of the overpass with complete ease and control.

      Stationed on top of the overpass was something like an unused construction piece with a tower like structure. Atop that structure was something large with multiple points, covered in a tarp. The dream began to fade. I thrashed around to keep it going, and I remember thinking: this is my chance to search my subconscious for information.
      Instead, I woke a minute-or-two after I had laid down.

      I still haven't found the journal. If my subconscious was providing me with some sort of clue, at present, I have no idea what it was. Nearest I could figure, the journal might have slid underneath something. However, I searched my floor thoroughly. Any and all possible interpretations are welcome...
