    1. "Why did Osiris cross the road?" (Travel through space)

      by , 07-23-2013 at 01:23 PM
Morning of July 23, 2013. Tuesday.

I am in Egypt (although it sometimes seems to be Italy), but some areas seem like urban areas in the USA (New York), and I am in an area where there are a lot of unusual ancient structures, some of the area being like a desert. There is a lot of folklore and even books about one larger pyramid, especially. It is a four-sided pyramid with various faces, seemingly carved just inside from the outer walls and looking out in mostly even rows, probably at about five levels - almost like a “people looking out the windows of the bus” effect on each row, but more separated in individual “windows” or frames. There is some work near the base, but it is not quite determined as to what it is. Somehow, what exists now or what is “left” is thought by some to be the remains of people from another planet with the pyramid being a spacecraft, so that the “carvings” are actually some sort of skeletal or mummified heads of beings like Osiris (from another planet) who came to Earth. Other people have no belief in the various theories about the “spacecraft” and say it is just a pyramid with statues, carvings, and such. There are even indications that certain restorations had been made to the structure over many years and some of the original content is missing now.

There is one part that makes little sense relating to supposed evidence of the spacecraft having left a very large, wide area of empty or changed ground from rocket exhaust or something along those lines - plants do not grow and buildings have never been built there - proof at any rate, of the supposed spacecraft landing. However, it is said that the area was as it was from thousands of people killing themselves at the same time centuries ago(?) I get this impression of an extremely large group of people - seemingly soldiers of some kind, facing away from the pyramid from all four sides and somehow dying all at the same time in a “perfect” position - but really, it makes little sense at all, especially as the ground is supposedly all barren and with no human remains, either. I almost am able to imagine the spacecraft full of “people” having landed all those centuries ago. Later, I notice what seems to be plumbing or tubes in some outer areas. Time passes and I and a few others walk around in other areas, including near a few barns and what seems like smaller businesses.

There is another “real spacecraft” from ancient times, supposedly - this one inside a modern building, but it is almost more like a model of the other one (without the faces) - about the size of a refrigerator. A lot of it is different from the original now. It is sort of like a four-sided pyramid, but not quite. There is a half-circle gauge of some kind near the top that looks fairly new and there are other newer mechanical parts as well as more plumbing of some kind. A few people seem to think it is hilarious that people in the region think that what is left of the ancient structures was related to space travel or other beings. There is some sort of business meeting or lecture where it is pondered “Why did Osiris cross the road?” (meaning why did he travel through space to Earth, although one idea is why did he travel from Egypt to Italy) - one answer being understood to be “to become the Pope”. However, one “ancient spacecraft” seemingly turns out to be the “Optical, Spectroscopic, and Infrared Remote Imaging System” of the European Space Agency (OSIRIS) or possibly “Origins Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification and Security” (OSIRIS but of USA - NASA) or something equally confusing.

Some of the ancient artifacts (but not all - including the large pyramid) turn out to be combinations of defunct satellites and parts of plumbing and abandoned prototypes of inventions.

A life-sized Egyptian image/painting of “Osiris” is on display - but turns out to be the Pope, even though he looks exactly like some images of Osiris, including the white robes and “tall white hat” (mitre). “The Pope is Osiris” someone says - believing he somehow came from the ancient “spacecraft” pyramid - even though the “remains” back at the pyramid were still there.

Later, there is a large business office with a long rectangular table that is also supposedly an ancient structure of some kind, yet looks more like a modern display case. I actually say “it looks like a display case” in my dream even though it was once supposedly a tomb/sarcophagus. I do not see anything inside it through the glass, though.

      Ahsaka's Dreams

Dream 1: I attended the funeral of my uncle. I forgot to bring something to eat for the gathering after the funeral. I went to a place that is supposed to give away free food. I stood in line for a long time, ignored. Frustrated, I slammed my hands on the counter and started yelling at the workers behind it. One big guy yelled back. We argued for a very long time.
The arguing was getting me no where. I calmed and explained my situation. They all laughed when I told them my uncle died. I became enraged again but before I could begin yelling a young woman with dark, empathetic eyes took me by the arm and lead me to a seat. She assured me that she will help me when she is done with her current customer. She handed me a book to read. It was a travel magazine about Egypt. I sat it aside for a few seconds as I took the time to simply breathe and to calm my racing mind.
Once calm I took up the travel magazine and began flipping through it. I found the images of pyramids very intriguing. They were almost 3-D. I forgot about the funeral and the food.

Dream 2: I was driving to school, the client folder project was due at 9am sharp. I had to hurry but every single traffic light I hit was red. And every single red traffic light blinked in a sequence that reminded me of Morse Code. I was too anxious and frustrated to even bother to remember the blink pattern. I was only worried about getting the project submitted on time.

      Hope i submitted this correctly

      So here's a tip:
If you ever find yourself with no time to lucid dream, do NOT stop updating your dream journal. :/
I stopped updating mine for a few weeks, and when I tried to LD again I noticed my dream recall was nearly nonexistent.
It took me the past two weeks to have a moderately long lucid, and going through this after having had sort of regular lucids is quite a frustrating experience.
So yeah, dream journals seem to be quite a bit more important than I thought.
      Anyways, enough rambling.

I'm taking a bath. The water is very soapy and I'm sort of lost in thoughts.
Somehow I feel that it is weird that I have a bathtub, I used to have only a shower.
But I make up some excuse to justify the presence of the tub and continue idling.
I think about a girl I met a few days ago for some reason, and suddenly I notice that someone is with me in the bathtub.
There's a naked girl right in front of me, though not the one I was thinking of, I don't know her.

I don't really realize that this situation is weird, I even sort of ignore the girl until I feel the urge to touch her arm because I have the impression that it's supposed to feel weird.
I touch her arm and gently brush over it with a finger, and I notice that it feels extremely realistic even though it shouldn't.

Wait... why is it supposed to... oh!
      Am I dreaming?
I look at the girl, whom is smiling at me and she proceeds to vanish into thin air.

I am now certain that I am dreaming, but I feel the urge to RC, I feel like I need the shock of awareness.

As I do the nose pinch RC I remember that I haven't RC'ed like this in a long time.
Usually I just become aware that I am dreaming, or I realize inconsistencies as to how I ended up where I am.
I think I stopped doing 'standard' RC's after WakingNomad had suggested other forms of increasing awareness on these forums.

The RC succeeds and I get quite excited that I finally induced an LD again, and I immediately feel the urge to do something with the limited time that is given to me.
I jump out of the tub ready to search my house for anything exciting.

      Stop! What am I doing?
I haven't stabilized the dream, I'm running around aimlessly, this is bad!
I try to calm down and attempt to stabilize the dream.
That was close, my surroundings had already darkened quite a bit.

I try to open a portal on a wall. I have no destination in mind, I have no goals and just seem to do the first thing that crosses my mind.
As I walk through it I wonder why I've bothered with a portal when I can just teleport with my wings, plus I'm assuming the portal won't work
because I haven't set a destination... but it does!

I find myself in the desert, on a sand dune.
This is odd, usually my dreams are dominated by cold colors and watery landscapes.
This is pretty much the exact opposite.
I see some construction work going on and approach it.
As I look at my surroundings, I realize that I must be in the past, considering what people are wearing and the kinds of buildings that exist.

This place seems oddly familiar though... and then I finally get it.
They're building the pyramids! I'm in Egypt!
Of course! I've been here before in waking life, how interesting!

      "It is, isn't it?"
      "Yeah..."

Huh? It's the girl from the bathtub again, except she's dressed now.
She's wearing some sort of white gown and her hair is braided.

      "You're the girl from before!"
      "Yeeees... ?"
      "Do I know you?"
      "... are you fucking serious?"
      "Err... oh! Faye?"
      "Yes Faye! Dude!"
"I'm sorry... haven't had a lucid in a while, I feel like I've forgotten everything"
      "You'll be fine."
"Yeah this is good, if I remember this dream it'll boost my confidence."
"Good good, time to wake up now."
      "Huh, why?"
      "Your phone is ringing"

I wake up and sure enough, my mobile is ringing.

      Pyramids and Statues

I remember that I was traveling through a narrow trench between two very large cliffs.

We arrived to an area with pyramids and statues of gods and goddesses.

In one area, instead of steps to the top of the pyramids, there were statues of gods that you had to walk on and climb to reach the top. I fell at the top, but landed on both feet safely.

      Sean the Stalker

I might omit this dream, I haven't decided yet.

I was with a friend in the park. There was something chasing us. It looked like a skeleton man. It was chasing more than just us though. Sometimes the man would disappear for awhile, then come back to haunt us. We watched in horror as it killed another man about a half mile away from us.

      The dream skips here.

Her and I are now in my house. We are being stalked by a man named Sean. He was about 5'8-9, around 18-19 years old, and Asian. We know that he is the same guy as before, and we think that he is not from my dream (which should have caused me to become lucid). I have seen him before, but I don't know where.

He has a knife, and he is sadistically waving it around in front of us. My friend and I are hiding in the closet, trying to be quiet so he won't know where we are. The suspense is killing us.

I know that he is in the same room and I know I need to attack him. But attacking him won't do anything. I need to surprise him.

I burst out of the closet and leap into his arms with a giant kiss. He was surprised, alright, and wildly amused.

He told us that he had to leave for awhile, and that he would come back in another dream.

      He did.

Rest of the dream is secret!

    5. Pyramids

      by , 12-22-2010 at 01:00 PM (Eonnn's Akashic Records)
This was a non lucid dream but it was pretty cool. Me and a couple of other people (don't know who they were) teleported (somehow?) way back into the past (perhaps around the year 5000BC?). The place we teleported to looked like Egypt as I could see a massive stone pyramid in the distance. There was a massive fight going on as far as the eye could see, there were thousands of japanese soldiers fighting each other with swords. I still haven't got to the weird bit... the air was so fresh and cripsy clean, your body would get energised just by breathing, and the pyramid was giving off this energy pulse every 10 seconds that swept through the entire land, I could actually feel the energy wave sweep through us each time it approached and it felt really good. Perhaps this is the real purpose of the pyramids? that when they are working, they give off an energy pulse? anyway, it was quite strange but in a good way, i just don't understand how i was able to breathe in such clean air? or how i felt pulses of energy? the window was closed in my bedroom so it couldn't have been the wind... the only conclusion i can come to is that there must have been an angel or some kind of enlightened spiritual being in my presence.
