I'm going to try to explain this dream to the best of my abilities, but I don't remember all the details.
First, I need to tell you how i recalled this dream, as i feel like it might be pretty significant, or not significant at all...

So, I either had this dream last night or the night before, I can't remember because, i forgot about it. Like completely forgot about this dream.
Anyways, I just got a new dream-catcher, and I was trying to figure out where to put it, and if i should do something with my other one.

Basically, I found myself looking in to articles about dream-catchers. As i was reading one article; and glancing at my dream-catcher on my wall, the articles listed something with the word "spider."
And then i remembered the dream. Not necessarily that i had the dream, but like i remembered something happened with a spider very recently, then i remembered it was a giant spider(Like the size of a big dog), and that it was talking, Then, i remembered that spiders don't talk and are not huge, so i must have dreamed of this spider!
It was just so odd that reading about dream-catchers, and then seeing the word "spider," caused me to remember this strange dream.

So onto the dream.
Now, i don't remember much of the dream but basically, I was in my house, and i'm pretty sure my family or one of my family members was there as well.
I was in my house and this giant spider appeared.
Now, it wasn't a naturally big spider, It was big like the size of a big dog, maybe taller.
She had really long legs, which took up the majority of her height, and i'm not sure what type of spider she was. She was eiither a Daddy Longlegs, or a black widow. I'm more certain she was a daddy longlegs, because in the dream i considered a daddy longlegs, but i could be wrong?
Anyways, we were, or i was, freaked out that she was there, and debating whether to kill her.
As we thought it through, i was thinking to myself that if i didn't kill her and let her stay, she would protect me from other insects.
I'm not sure if she mentioned this throughout the dream or if it was just me thinking about it, but i know i had that feeling.
I also read that when spiders talk in your ream that you need to listen to their message carefully, but i don't remember what she said. Maybe she was saying that?
I just know that my instinct was that if i don't kill her, then she'll protect me from the other insects.
I don't know if we actually killed her or not, I don't think we did...

So, I just want to know, who could this spider really be? and, who are these "insects" i need protection from? Could they be people in my life, and she's a angelic being sending me a message that she's trying to protect me from these people?
Could the spider really be bad, and trying to manipulate me?

I looked into what the meaning of spider dreams are, and some of the interpretations make sense, in what i'm going through in life right now. But, i feel like this dream had more to it. Like the scenario was a message about something more specific?

I don't even know if all of this made sense, but i hope you guys understood it enough.

Also, i want to point out that this isn't the first dream about an animal i've had, but i'll explain that more if I tell you about my other dream.

I'm playing Sonic the Hedgehog II. I know I used to be able to do the first level in about 15 seconds, but its taking forever.

I'm working for this guy. There's a baby I'm trying to protect. The government would kill it if they found it. There are two others working for the guy, one male, one female. The room(s) we're in is quite crowded. I am male, dressed in black, and I think I have a sword. The setting is medieval.

I go out looking for a new place. I find someone who tells me there's a good, hidden room above the gate, but for some reason its not available. Then he shows me a small house that has a secret basement. There are three hidden entrances: a grate just outside the house, a hidden trapdoor in the bedroom, and a secret panel in the back of the freezer (problematic, as we have a hard time keeping the freezer clear). Behind the freezer there's a netting thing, which when moved goes to a narrow opening and then down. I take the house.

We move in and spend some time trying to make the house part look lived in, and distract from the secret room. In the bedroom, there's a bed and couch. The bedsheets are blue, so I put blue pillows on the couch to match.

Later, I'm Vaarsuvius (from The Order of the Stick), and I'm fighting Xykon, who's just decided to move into the house. I inevitably lose and run away. I'm in bad shape and collapse on the couch. Xykon follows. The secret room is discovered. The man in black comes out and attacks Xykon with a sword, but, of course, swords don't do much against a skeleton. I tell him to try smashing, rather than cutting, the skeleton. That damn goblin is there, too.

I am on a relatively small boat at sea. There is some sort of tv show or party going on. Penny (from the Big Bang Theory) is really drunk, and she kisses Sheldon and falls overboard. She is helped back on the boat. I fall overboard as well. I swim to the guy helping people back on board. He has some sort of huge tame fish, the size of a small whale. At the top of the boat, drunk people who fell overboard are being ?chained up?. Penny is livid. She blames Sheldon for manipulating her into the kiss.

Something is written on a white board. It seems clear and unchanging, if a bit weird, but the only word I remember is 'yucky.'

In a tomb/vault. A raider is talking to the guards and a fratboy. He does something with mixing white powder and runs away, up the ladder. He comes back a bit later and the three are dead. He enters the inner chamber. There is a stream or waterfall and some green stuff growing on rock.

A scene in a bathroom. There are beetles. My little brother (I have no little brother) loves collecting bugs and is mad at me for some reason.

I am trying to capture a bad guy in a theater. I am a fantasy character named Simon. I capture the bad guy and kill him, but it doesn't quite work. I have to fight/trick him again, and this time when I capture him I kill him for good. I think I am trying to protect a little girl. I feel guilty over something I don't remember and am explaining/apologizing to the girl.

There is a shop selling underwear (or diapers?) with stuff written on it, which has something to do with the fratboy.
