I'm in a burned down forest. Nothing is left standing. The place has (somehow) been flooded as well. I don't remember feeling any cold from the water. I'm not sure if I was standing in it or on it. There's an orangutan trapped below the water. I think because he's somehow stuck under a tree trunk. I'm not sure if he's still alive. I think I see some movement. Above the water level are two straws. I consider giving them to him, for him to use to get some air. Will he know what to do with it though? And will it even work well enough, considering how thin they are? The final question I ask myself is if I wouldn't just be extending his suffering and giving him false hope, as there isn't really a way out. The fact that the Borneo orangutang is now critically endangered got thrown into my face a lot yesterday.
