I thought I was about to wake up, so I told MoSh and Asuka that. MoSh asked if I couldn't dilate time, I said I certainly could try that, so I focused on Allura's method of time dilation. That seemed to work, the dream became stable again, so I figured we could keep going. I focused on opening a portal to find Kaomea, then MoSh and I went through the portal.

As MoSh and I stepped out of the portal, I looked around to see we were now on a beach next to what I thought looked a bit like a lagoon, or it at least looked like the lagoon I used to see when watching old reruns of Gilligan's Island… I looked closer and spotted Kaomea on the beach, she was looking out over the water and didn't seem to have noticed us yet. MoSh said her name, and she looked over at us with a weird smile on her face. She climbed up on a rock and slipped off all of her clothes, so she was now standing up there in the nude… I wasn't sure what to make of that… She looked directly at MoSh and then jumped into the water, turning into a mermaid on her way down and entering the lagoon with a splash. She surfaced and looked over at MoSh again, then proclaimed she likes swimming naked with men who have old souls… uh… I wasn't sure what to make of that, did it confirm she needed healing? Was that her normal behavior? I had no clue…

MoSh apparently took it as in invitation, as he waded out into the lagoon, I'm not sure if his clothes disappeared, but if they did, they didn't vanish until that part was underwater. Kaomea giggled a bit, it appeared to me she was a bit amused by his modesty, which I figured was because I was there. Kaomea hadn't really acknowledged my presence at all, and if she was going to want to get hot and wild with MoSh, that was something I didn't really want to hang around and see. But MoSh had seemed so sure that she needed healing, so I figured I would stick around for a bit longer and make sure nothing bad happened.

As MoSh and Kaomea moved farther out into the lagoon, I saw there was a whirlpool out there that hadn’t been there just a moment before. There were figures coming out of the whirlpool, too, which didn't seem too likely, and the things coming out of it were butt ugly. There were zombies coming out of the whirlpool, zombies that distinctly reminded me of the evil pirates in the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie, the ones that turned into zombies when the light of the moon shined on them. Of course right now it was daylight, and these zombies looked every bit as disgusting as the ones on Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and the strangest thing was a couple of them were whispering something to Kaomea. She was listening intently to them, then she turned towards MoSh and smirked. She said if he was her soul mate, she was going to kill herself right now so she could spend eternity with the zombie pirate to her right. My stomach churned and I thought I might vomit when she kissed the thing, kissing a zombie? That was truly disgusting, and when she pulled away I could see the slime of decaying flesh sticking to her face, though she seemed completely unaware of it.

First MoSh looked stunned, then he looked mad, leading me to wonder if he had somehow forgotten the reason we'd had for tracking Kaomea down in the first place, to heal her from dark energy infection. Apparently she was still infected, and those zombies weren't making things any better. And she was getting nasty, too, she was telling MoSh that there was no way that any woman would put up with the likes of him, that he would grow old and die a complete no one and when he did die, no one would give a shit, that all that would be left is for him to sink into the realm of the forgotten souls and rot there for eternity, she was laughing in a nasty manner…

While she was coming up with nasty things to say to MoSh, I had turned into a mermaid and swam out towards her, she still wasn't paying any attention at all to me, I figured that was fine… she didn't need to be paying attention for me to do a healing spell. She was saying more nasty things to MoSh that I didn't catch, and then I was focusing on Touch My Heart. Before the spell could really get started, however, MoSh was charging at Kaomea, getting mad at her for deceiving him, for playing games with him when she knew perfectly well he was seriously looking for Asuka's twinner in his waking life. I did a brief double take, but then I swam away from Kaomea and grabbed MoSh, I saw all the zombies standing around Kaomea laughing at us, she was laughing right along with them, I told MoSh to quit it, we had known before coming here that Kaomea was infected with dark energy, this was just a symptom of that. He didn't seem to quite get that, so I told him that I would take care of healing Kaomea if he could just keep the zombies off of us while I was doing it. He finally agreed to that.

So while MoSh was attacking the zombies, I went over to Kaomea and focused again on the song Touch My Heart, using it to pull dark energy out of her and replace it with light energy… if she was Asuka's twinner, then she should be using light energy… This time the song played through without interruption. I saw MoSh off to the side a couple of times doing an interesting version of underwater martial arts… and kicking serious zombie ass with it. One of the zombies got almost close enough to interfere with my spell, but MoSh interfered with him and kicked him so hard in the face that his head flew off. I was thinking MoSh had been acting a bit negative himself, so I finished Touch My Heart, directing some of the healing energy at MoSh, as well. After this was done I woke.

Note: I don't have any solid memories of when I was going to share a dream with both of them to try to remember music, but I am remembering some music that I don't think I've actually heard IWL.

Note: I had even more plans tonight than last night, it seems that when I have a lot of stuff planned that I have an easier time remembering the goals and remembering the dreams. That might be one reason my drought went on for so long, when I couldn't count on a lucid, I didn't really make any plans… This night I had plans to meet up with Kaomea, MoSh, and Asuka, and we were going to try to play some music and then remember it IWL. In addition to that I had a Law and Order: SVU dream planned with Tigress, so I figured I would be able to remember something and accomplish something… I started by using my light sound machine and slipping into a WILD…

I entered the WILD, the scene around me slowly became solid as the patterns of colors solidified into a consistent scene. Once the scene had resolved itself I realized I was in the front yard of MoSh's house inside his inner world, I was thinking that hadn't happened much lately and it seemed a good sign that I was appearing there now. MoSh was outside the house, I'm not sure what he was trying to do, but when he saw me he stopped and came running over to me, something was clearly wrong. He said now they were both infected, both Asukas were infected. Both Asukas? He said yeah, both the Asuka he has known for a long time and the dream self of the waking life twinner of Asuka. Kaomea was also infected with dark energy. I wondered who had been attacking Kaomea, but I figured that didn't matter until after she and Asuka were healed, cleared of the dark energy infecting them. I asked MoSh where they were, he said Asuka was in the house being kept there by Data, but he didn't know where Kaomea was right then. Ok, then, Asuka first. Both MoSh and I went into his house.

Inside the house I saw the normal place I am used to seeing, though I knew it had been a while since I had successfully visited there, MoSh indicated the stairs, so we went up there. Data was at the door to one of the bedrooms, I could hear Asuka in the room getting all kinds of angry and letting out expletives that might even make a drunken sailor blush… that was definitely not the Asuka I know… So I went into the room, I saw Asuka lying on the bed by herself, but as soon as she saw there was someone coming she summoned a naked DC and started making out with him. The DC was one of those guys that is pretty good looking, but looked like he was all good looks and physique and absolutely no brains. Of course since it was a DC, that was no doubt true. MoSh came into the room behind me and saw Asuka making out with the himbo, Asuka looked over at us as if she was just now noticing us. She told us to leave, she was making out with a real man for a change instead of the loser she normally hung around with. She looked over at MoSh as if she had spotted him for the first time, then she said there the loser was right now, maybe if he took some notes he could figure out how to be a real man, too.

That was just absurd, suggesting that her stupid DC was any kind of a real man, so I used my own dream control to alter her DC into a little wimp who got up off of her and revealed his 'manhood' was about the size of a small earthworm and just as floppy as a dead worm, too. He chuckled at it as he played with it for a bit, then he shriveled up and blew out the window on a light breeze, I told her that was how much of a man her DC really was. Now to take care of things, I went over to Asuka, who was a bit annoyed at me for bursting her illusion of the hot DC boyfriend, and I focused on the song Touch My Heart, drawing the dark energy out of Asuka and into myself, replacing it with light energy which she was supposed to have. The song finished with no difficulty, and Asuka was sitting on the bed looking at me, then she looked at MoSh, then she had tears in her eyes, though I wasn't sure if they were tears of sadness over what had just happened or tears of rage at the assholes who had done it… Asuka said this couldn't happen again, not right when MoSh might be meeting the girl he was meant to find, no one could be allowed to fuck that up…

MoSh said that Kaomea had been infected, too, so we should go find her and heal her. Asuka was apologizing to MoSh, and she was also cursing whoever had infected her, and she was fluently cursing them for infecting Kaomea… She said it wasn't fair for them to start attacking Kaomea, before Kaomea even had a chance to get used to the idea of shared dreaming and finding MoSh in dreams and that MoSh was her soul mate and… and… She said no only was it unfair, it is just flat out wrong, there was no way they should be allowed to do that. MoSh said we needed to go find Kaomea, then we could heal her and make sure everything was ok. I thought I was about to wake up, so I told MoSh and Asuka that. MoSh asked if I couldn't dilate time, I said I certainly could try that, so I focused on Allura's method of time dilation. That seemed to work, the dream became stable again, so I figured we could keep going. I focused on opening a portal to find Kaomea, then MoSh and I went through the portal.

I was in a bedroom with my ex boyfriend, James, and we were both sitting on his bed and talking just like we used to before I found out that he didn't really care about me at all… Well, at this point we were both sitting on his bed and talking about a bunch of random stuff, about video games, movies, music, etc. We both had iPods there with us, they had been set aside since it was hard to talk to each other while listening to music. I noticed absently that James was playing with my earphones, just fiddling with them, but I didn't really care about that as long as he wasn't damaging anything. I was looking through a strategy guide for some video game, then when I looked back at James I saw he had a knife and was cutting at my earphone cord. WTF? I told him to stop that, and he did, but there was already an area of the wire left exposed, possibly damaged. I got mad at him, he said to fix it with electrical tape, I said it wouldn't help if he had damaged the wire… I tested it on the iPod, and the sound was compromised… I said I would have to buy a new pair now, and those aren't cheap. He didn't seem to have much of a response to that, when I repeated myself, he said the store down the road sells them. I knew he had a spare pair of earphones, and it was pissing me off that he hadn't offered that to me to make up for damaging my pair. For some reason, instead of coming out and saying that, I bitched more until he finally offered them.

I took his spare pair of earphones and I was leaving, I had to go home. Now he was the one bitching at me, complaining about not having his spare pair of earphones and why should I get his earphones instead of just buying new ones for myself. He was pissing me off, I said those things aren't cheap, and he had deliberately destroyed mine, so he owed me the replacement pair. If he was that set on having a backup pair, he should go to the store and buy them. The argument escalated, and changed topics several times, moving on to money problems and then on to him bitching that I don't have sex with him enough and then on to my not liking his way of trying to initiate sex by saying, "Let's fuck," when he wanted to go… I got more and more pissed, and I finally drove away, really upset and pissed off.

I was now driving down the street, driving rather recklessly, and muttering expletives about James, from what he had said I could tell perfectly well he didn't really care about me at all, much less love me. What a crock of shit! I didn't really feel like going home now, so I drove until I came to the store James had indicated had the earphones in it, and even though I didn't need to buy earphones, I went into the parking lot and parked. They also had a lot of other cool electronics, and I needed to calm myself down before I got into a massive wreck. I got out and went into the store, not only did they have their usual stock, they had some special stuff on display, too. Virtual reality gear, and lots of it, every kind of it from gloves to head mounted displays to 3D goggles and glasses… they even had one full virtual reality setup, where the player stood inside a sphere and the computer could scan out their every movement. The person in the system now was wearing an HMD, and other than that she was just going through the movements needed for the game, and the computer was doing the rest. As she walked, the sphere turned like a ball made for a hamster. I really wanted to try that, but there were so many people waiting and watching it… I would never get up there.

I wandered around a bit more and found there were smaller virtual reality setups around, most of them had the form of vehicles that the player sat in. I was heading towards one that looked like a miniature version of Star Tours, thinking maybe I could at least check that one out. I went over to the machine and waited a few minutes for the person currently using it to finish. While I was waiting, my mind went back to James and I got pissed again, and I was also able to spot clear indications that he was cheating… I had no doubt in my mind. So I was just sitting there getting more and more upset.

The machine finally came to a stop, so I got up and waited impatiently for the person to get out… they were taking forever! What was taking so long? I just wanted to kill something since James had been stabbing me in the back… I just wanted to hurt someone… I just wanted… someone to care about me… my anger turned to depression, I felt like I might cry now, which I really didn't want to do where other people could see me. I could do it once I was in the machine… and finally the door opened and a man came out. I was about to get into the machine when I recognized the man, it was MoSh! I felt like I really needed a friend, maybe it wasn't a coincidence that I had met him here… I didn't say anything to him, I just put my arms around him, and though I was ashamed of it, I was crying anyhow. MoSh seemed confused by my behavior, but he finally returned the hug. That's all I remember before I woke.

Note: The rest of the night was filled with fragmented non-lucid dreams which I will post here, partially to get me back in the habit of posting in my journal regularly. After missing so long it would be easy to get lazy…

I was with Tigress at a couple of desktop computers, I was working on one of the computers and Tigress was working on the other. I was designing a video game, it was a 3D space game that looked like it had similarities to both Star Wars and Star Trek. The graphics looked awesome. The part I was testing involved the ship coming around a planet into range of a target, the targeting system on the screen looked really cool and high tech, and I was doing this over and over again as I tried to time a certain feature just right. Tigress was saying that feature wasn't really that important when I finally got it right…

I was inside an arcade in a casino, the casino was so huge that there was a small city actually inside it. I was playing the game I had been developing in the previous dream, but I was running out of quarters, so I needed more. I kept a few quarters out and figured that with my programming knowledge it would be no problem for me to hack into one of the electronic slot machines and make it give me a big payout without anyone noticing…

My mom and I were putting a new screen on my window. The old screen had been damaged quite a while ago, this is also true IWL. So I went and got the screen and brought it back. After fighting with it for a while, my mom and I finally got it placed back in the frame… only to see it was the wrong one. We had just put the busted screen back in the window, which did absolutely no good. My mom was annoyed that I had brought the wrong screen, I kept asking her why she had even bothered to keep the old screen…

I have apparently been playing too much Farmville, as now I was sorting a bunch of miniature animals in my own house. I was putting a bunch of cows and calves in my mom's room, a bunch of goats in the living room, foals and horses in the kitchen, and all the felines in my own room. There were just a couple of problems. My mom was complaining about the manure all over the place, the wild cat cubs in my bedroom were chasing the kitty cats, and I was trying to figure out where to put the fish… even though there are no fish in Farmville…

I was in my car driving down a street near my house, it is a long two lane street through a desert area with a few gentle hills and no houses around. It was mostly the same in the dream as IWL, but there were more trees in the dream version. I was driving very fast, and I had classical music blasting out of the speakers, I don't know what composer since I am not too knowledgeable about classical composers. But I liked it. MoSh was sitting in the passenger seat, he was clutching the sides of his seat and seemed to think I was insane for driving so fast. I had the idea I was taking MoSh back to my house, and that it was urgent for me to get him there quickly…

I was in my living room with Tigress, I was on the couch with my laptop and Tigress was behind the couch looking over my shoulder as I worked on the computer. She was telling me about an idea she had for the game I was currently working on, it was a platformer, and it looked pretty cool. It was a futuristic looking setting in the game and Tigress was describing how she thought the next level should go…

I was in my bedroom, but it was quite a bit bigger than it is IWL. There were quite a few musical instruments in there as well, all hooked up to some pretty cool looking speakers. MoSh was there with me, he was playing a guitar. I wanted to learn to play the guitar, I really wanted to try playing it for a bit and see if I could get any decent sound out of it. I told MoSh I wanted to try it, he said sure, but he wanted to try something on it first. He played it for a bit longer, playing something I didn't recognize but I definitely liked. I wasn't sure if I wanted to play after that, but it didn't matter, since that's where the memories end.

Note: I fell asleep with the goal of meeting up with MoSh, who said he wants to get in contact with his guide and ask him a few questions, but before that MoSh had said he would help out in an attempt to heal my ailing pet, Frodo, who is a guinea pig who seems to be suffering from a serious illness. I don't know how much chance there is of doing a dream healing on that, but I figure there is nothing to be lost by trying. I fell asleep, aiming for a WILD, but epic fail…

I got up out of bed, annoyed at myself that I had been unable to successfully enter a WILD, I wondered what is going on with me that it seems to be so much trouble getting into a WILD. It either works wonderfully or epic fails, and I am getting pretty tired of it. I went into the bathroom to use the facilities before going back to bed, somewhere around the bathroom door I thought I had better do a RC , I did that, and discovered I was already in a dream! Now that I was lucid I completely forgot my need to use the bathroom and considered what my goals were, I didn't remember everything clearly, but I remembered MoSh was part of it, so I would start by getting to MoSh's inner world. I tried to open a portal, but nothing happened, wtf? I knew I was dreaming and that I should be able to open a portal, but it wasn't working, which was just another annoyance. I saw the closed door to my game room and focused on it leading to MoSh's inner world, but when I opened it, all I found was my game room. Frodo was in his cage making some soft noises that sounded more like groans of pain that purrs, so I went over to check on him, he didn't look good at all. That was when I remembered the goal of healing him, and I remembered MoSh and Pablo had both offered to help, so maybe I could do that first if I wasn't able to open a portal to find MoSh… um… but I still had to find MoSh…

I decided maybe if I could just get out of my own inner world I might be able to go find MoSh and Pablo, but I wasn't even sure how to do that… I cursed out loud at the fact I was lucid and yet I didn't seem to remember how to use my abilities that I have been using for so long. How to open a portal 101, sounded corny, but that's what went through my mind. Step 1: Decide on a destination. Done, I was going to Pablo's inner world. Step 2: Focus on the image clearly in my mind. Done, I had a nice image of the forest I have seen repeatedly in Pablo's inner world. Step 3: Use Through the Never by Metallica while tracing a circle in the air to indicate where the portal will open. Through the Never, that was the problem, I didn't have any way to play music. I went back to my bedroom to find my purse, I needed my iPod, that would have the song I needed… but I couldn't find it, there was nothing but $20 bills stuffed in my purse. I finally found a music player of some kind… it was weird, but I knew it would do, and I somehow knew Through the Never was on it… so I played the song and opened a portal, which I went through.

On the other side of the portal I was exactly where I wanted to be, I took a step forward as I scanned the forest for any sign of Pablo, I tripped, and I face planted right there in the grass. What had I just tripped over? I turned to look and I saw there had been a fox right at my feet, and he was what I had tripped over, now the fox was just eyeing me with a mixture of amusement and concern. I got up and dusted myself off, since I had landed in the grass it hadn't hurt at all, and I asked the fox if he had somehow planned that. The fox shook his head, but I hadn't really meant it seriously anyway. I said I had come looking for Pablo, he had said he would help me heal my pet, which triggered the fox to transform from an adult fox to an adorable little cub and then jump into my arms. I caught the cute little bundle and gave him a hug before returning to my inner world through the same portal I had used to get there in the first place.

Once I was back in my own house, still holding a cute little fox pup, I saw MoSh was already there and seemed a bit surprised to see me back. He asked me where I had been, I just responded by holding up the fox, he said he had thought I was going to come see him. I said I had tried, but my portals weren't working very well. He said ok, then said he wanted to visit his guide, I said he'd agreed to help me heal Frodo, he said ok to that. We went into my game room where Frodo was in his cage, still huddled in the corner making some noises that didn't sound good, so we did a healing spell on him, then Nomad showed up and we did it again. I wondered if the healing spells had any chance of working if the little guy had cancer… I didn't want to be thinking like that, but I couldn't help it. MoSh said he hoped the little guy got to feeling better soon, I said I also hoped for that. MoSh asked if we could go meet up with his guide now, I said sure, I was not sure if I could open the portal, but I tried it… nothing happened. I still wasn't getting anywhere towards opening a portal, so I grabbed my music player and opened the portal as I ignored MoSh saying he would do that. I didn't want to admit I couldn't do it myself, it was too annoying. MoSh and I went through the portal and exited into his inner world. I looked around to see if I could find his guide, but I didn't see anyone else anywhere around. MoSh said he knew where his guide wanted to meet up, so he would open the portal. He did that, we went through, and we met up with MoSh's guardian.

It turned out that MoSh wanted to know if his guide knew anything about what might happen in the year 2012. I don't remember exactly how the conversation went, but Victor and MoSh were talking about it for a time, and this is what I remember. Victor said that the year 2012 doesn't indicate the date of some kind of fire and brimstone / rapture type end of the world, he said the end that could be beginning in 2012 is caused by much more mundane sources… people. And it's not something that will happen overnight, rather it is something that is already in progress, but will be more apparent after 2012. It basically has to do with consuming more resources than can be replenished, leading to some serious issues, basically if people don't start being more careful with how they take care of natural resources, there won't be anything left. But there is still time to change things before it's too late, so there is not necessarily anything serious to be started after 2012…

Victor talked about the different things that people are doing to self-destruct as well as destroying the rest of the world. Using too many resources will lead to shortages worldwide, famines, droughts, war… As he was talking about all of the negative predictions my mind wandered, and I realized I wasn't paying as much attention to that as maybe I should have since I have basically heard it all before, and I have little hope that anything is going to change before it's too late. The next thing I noticed was that MoSh was asking me if I was hearing anything Victor was saying at all. I said sure, I was, but I've heard it all before, and nothing is going to change, so what's the point? Victor was now talking about music, he was talking about remembering dream music in waking life. This was something I was quite interested in, so I was paying attention again.

Victor was talking about remembering the first part of the song being the most important part, because if we make sure and remember the first part then the rest of it will be much easier to recall. MoSh and I were practicing on a song I didn't recognize, he was playing his guitar while I played on an electronic keyboard. I tried the song the first time… epic fail. I thought I heard MoSh laughing… I was going to be annoyed, but I didn't allow that since I really had epic failed at the song… I tried again, and this time I did a bit better. MoSh was doing very well on his guitar, my keyboard playing still left much to be desired. We tried it one more time. I still thought that while his music rocked, mine was still second rate, but at least it seemed to be passable.. I was happy at the improvement I had accomplished, MoSh was talking to Victor about what else helps. Victor said that it is important to play the song ourselves instead of just listening to it. It can be done with just hearing it, but playing it makes the tune stay in the mind much better. I continued playing the song on the keyboard, and MoSh was playing along with the guitar, and I was wondering if I might be able to remember this IWL. I was hoping I could, then I woke.

I was on the street in a normal looking neighborhood, walking along the sidewalk. I had absolutely no idea that I was dreaming, but I knew exactly what I was doing. My plans were to go down the street to meet up with and spend some time hanging out with MoSh. His house was just a short way down the street, and the weather was beautiful, so I had decided to walk instead of drive so I could save some gas and reduce pollution. I reached MoSh's house in just a short time at which point I went right up to the door and knocked. It didn't take long before the door opened to reveal MoSh inside, smiling. He said I don't really need to knock every time, I can just come on in whenever I want to. He stepped aside to let me in.

I went inside and looked around, MoSh had a very nice place there, it looked like a really welcoming place. I was about to say something to MoSh when line of kids came running down the stairs from the second floor, they all charged right out the door with Data right behind them and a couple of dogs right behind him. They left the front door wide open, though MoSh didn't really seem to care, he seemed more interested in getting me to follow him into the living room. Since the weather was so nice outside, I didn't bother closing the door before following MoSh into the living room.

The living room was a fairly large room, MoSh was standing beside a comfortable looking couch and pointing at the largest wall in the room, which was completely taken up by a huge flat screen television. The flat screen television was mounted on the wall, or maybe the television was the wall... I couldn't be sure since there was not a single square inch of the wall was visible. I was wondering exactly how big the screen was. MoSh seemed quite pleased with the television, he stood there for a couple minutes as if waiting for me to say something, but all I could say was one word... Wow. Apparently that was an acceptable response, since MoSh continued to say he had an extensive library of movies and games, so let's watch or play something. I was thinking how awesome it would be to play games on that thing, so I immediately agreed and said we should play a game.

MoSh went over to a shelf and looked at some cases there, talking as he did. He was only halfway talking to me, however, he was mostly talking to himself. He said something about me not liking Starcraft, he muttered some more stuff, then he took a game out and slid it into a slot in the television. Wow! It even had a built in video game system! The game that started up on the screen was a space game, I had been right in thinking a game would look awesome on that television... The graphics looked absolutely amazing. MoSh and I were playing a co-op mission where it was the two of us against a fleet of enemy ships... Fortunately the enemies weren't very bright. MoSh and I came at them from different directions, each of us had a squad at our command, and we took them all out.

MoSh and I were playing a death match version of the game when Asuka came in, I blasted MoSh before I realized he was distracted... Asuka had sat down on his lap and kissed him... Not really a fair kill. MoSh won that part of the game, I have never been really good at death match games. Then we played a version of the game that was a race through an asteroid field, there were rings we had to fly through while avoiding running into the asteroids. I won that one, zipping in, out, and around the asteroids and through the rings to the finish line which was a space station inside a cool looking nebula. MoSh wasn't far behind me. I was wondering what other versions of the game were available, but I didn't get a chance to find out before I woke.

Note: It seems someone has come and kidnapped Asuka yet again, I'm not sure why that keeps happening or even how it keeps happening. There is supposed to be a shield around MoSh's inner world, but it doesn't seem to be doing a lot of good when it comes to protecting Asuka… I'm not sure exactly where the problems are originating, enemies might be getting to Asuka while she's outside of his inner world, but they keep doing it, and this is getting old. So that was my first goal for tonight's dream, to locate and bring Asuka back, also to do some healing on both her and MoSh. I fell asleep with my light / sound machine on and was successful in slipping in to a WILD…

I was inside MoSh's inner world, which is where I intended to be. I didn't pause, I just walked over to the closest house, which was MoSh's house, and I knocked on the door. There was no answer. I thought that was strange, there is always someone there, was there something else wrong? I was hoping there wasn't something more going on than I already knew about… I opened the door and went inside, once I was inside I saw Data coming down the stairs. There were kids there with him, several kids, Data said he would have come sooner but he kind of had his hands full right now. I told him I was looking for MoSh, we were going to go out and find Asuka. Data said MoSh wasn't dreaming at this time, so he couldn't help me there. I asked if he knew when MoSh might be entering the dream state, Data said he wasn't sure, it could be any time now, or it could be a while. I thought maybe I should go ahead and find Asuka on my own since I wasn't sure where he was right now. So I focused on opening a portal to locate Asuka, and after focusing for a bit, a portal opened and I went through.

On the other side of the portal I was in a weird place, it was night time there and it looked like a dock area, a warehouse district in some random town, and I somehow knew exactly where I needed to go, so I went towards one of the warehouses. There was nothing about that warehouse that looked any different than the other ones, but I somehow knew that was where I was heading. As I approached the warehouse some thugs came out and approached me, they looked like petty thugs, I knew right away that they weren't the brains behind this. There's no way they could be the brains behind anything… One of them walked over to me and tried to talk like a gangster, he told me I had better just turn around and go the other direction. One of the others said if the pretty girl wanted to join the party, she should be welcomed, he was licking his lips avidly as if he was looking at a particularly choice cut of meat. I told them I was here to get Asuka, so they had better just get the fuck out of my way. The one who had met me said that wasn't right, he said there was supposed to be a dude looking for Asuka… not a chick… he told me to go away and get the dude, because this wasn't how it was supposed to work. I told them I would give them one more chance to get out of my way, but then they were going to find themselves getting hurt. The one in front said those were big words for a little girl… I'd had enough of these idiots, so I formed Witchblade into a sword and kicked all of their asses, I instinctively knew that killing these idiots would be no loss to anyone… and then I went through the main door into the warehouse.

Once I was inside the warehouse, I looked around and saw that it was completely empty, or almost completely empty. There were some catwalks around the room at the second level, and I could see there was a small office area over there, and the rest of the room was completely empty except for a couple of crates in one area of the room. Those crates stuck out very clearly, they weren't directly in a corner, they were sitting right out in the middle of the floor, so I went to investigate that first. There were a couple more thugs around the back of the crates, I quickly dispatched one of them, but I had the idea the other one didn't really want to be there, he had kind of been tricked, so I threatened him, he was already shitting his pants after seeing me cut the first guy down with no hesitation, so he was not going to hesitate when he saw the chance to escape with his life. I walked back into an area between two of the crates and I saw a trap door in the floor, it was pretty hard to see, I thought it would have been better for them to not have anything hiding it than it was hidden behind those obvious crates. I opened the trap door and descended down into the darkness.

The trap door led to some underground passages, there were several of them, so I had to focus on finding Asuka again to determine which of the passages I should take. I followed the passage as it descended into the ground a bit farther, and then there was a single door at the end of the passage. The door wasn't even locked, so I opened it and went into the room beyond. Asuka was there, she was singing, in spite of her surroundings that looked like a dismal dungeon I might be able to include in my video game… There were rats scurrying on the ground, the room was damp and the walls were dripping, there was the smell of mold and decay, a skeleton hung on one of the walls, and the room was illuminated only by a single burning torch. I went over to Asuka, who was staring at a particularly disgusting patch on the wall and singing to it… I looked closer and saw a partially decayed, maggot infested rat corpse stuffed into a crack there, yuck! I touched Asuka on the shoulder, she turned towards me as if she was startled, then she said hello, greeting me just as she would always greet me. She handed me a rock with some blobs of goop on it, said I should eat as many cookies as I want. Blech!

I told Asuka I was there to take her home, so let's get out of there. I was actually surprised how easy this seemed to be, but if this was going to be an easy one, I would gladly take that. I took Asuka's arm and went to lead her out the door, but she pulled away from me and said no, she would not go. I said we had to go, MoSh would be waiting for her. She said the name 'MoSh' as if it had a foul taste to it, then said she was never going back to him again, she was free now and she was going to stay that way. I did a double take, I said I wasn't sure why she was saying those things, but I had the feeling we had to get out of there now before something else happened. She said she didn't want to go anywhere near MoSh… I didn't want to argue with her here and now, so I said fine, we would go to my inner world. She finally said ok, then I led Asuka out of the underground dungeon, through the warehouse, and outside before opening a portal and going through it to my inner world.

I stepped out of the portal into my inner world, but I saw that I was alone, Asuka was not there. Wtf? How had I lost Asuka on the way here? I should have known that it wouldn't work that easily to get her back, I had better go find her again, so I opened the portal to track her down. I went through the new portal to the area outside the warehouse… the same goons were in front of the warehouse, the same ones I had killed… I killed them again without even waiting to hear them bitch that I wasn't MoSh. Inside, the warehouse was the same, I killed the one thug and told the other to get lost, went down underground and found a reluctant Asuka in the dungeon. Everything had been exactly the same, which I found to be really annoying. This time I went ahead and used the song Liberate by Disturbed, and that effectively freed her of whatever illusions had her trapped in here. She looked around and saw how disgusting things were, then said she wanted to go home… to MoSh? Of course to MoSh, she said, was something wrong with MoSh? Had they done something to him, too? Asuka looked very worried now, she asked what about the kids? What about… I interrupted her and said the kids had been fine with Data, and I had no reason to think MoSh was in danger. So let's get back home. I opened a portal to MoSh's inner world, and holding tightly to Asuka's arm, I led her through the portal… and she was gone before I reached the other side. Damn!

Ok, it seemed there was something there to keep me from bringing Asuka back, and I would have to find a way to counteract that before I would be able to effectively rescue her this time. I focused on opening the portal again, I focused harder on it this time, I was thinking maybe I was only finding an illusion of Asuka that was there to distract me, so I had to try harder to find the real Asuka. So I ignored the first portal that opened, in fact I let it close, and I kept focusing on going beyond opening that portal, on finding Asuka… and finally a portal opened, though that one was considerably harder to keep stable. I was finally able to keep it stable long enough to go into the portal. The only problem was that once I was in the portal it completely fell apart, branching off in several different directions, all at once, creating a really divergent dream… I found myself functioning on several planes all at once, it felt quite confusing, though I have experienced similar feelings in other multiple-plane dreams. For this dream, I will record the events to keep things as easy to understand as possible.

Earth
So I stepped out of the portal into a medieval looking dungeon, and there were strange orc guards all around, and they immediately. They didn't even take the time to ask any questions or give a warning, they immediately came and attacked me, they all had clubs with spikes on them, I formed Witchblade into armor and a sword and engaged them in battle. They didn't seem to have a huge level of intelligence, and I dispatched them without much difficulty, then I was able to search the dungeon. I found the doors were locked, but after searching one of the dead orcs I found that they had keys. I began unlocking the dungeons, most of them were empty, one of them had a prisoner in it that was hanging from a chain in the middle of the room, he asked me to help him, please help him… so I unlocked his chains and said he was free to go, but he would have to find his own way out because I had to find someone else. He attacked me, grabbing a piece of scrap metal and trying to stab me with it, I ended up killing him with Witchblade, that was gratitude. I set him free and he attacks… lame. I found Asuka in a dungeon cell, used Liberate by Disturbed to free her from the illusions, and took her back to the healing glen, which seemed like the best choice at the time.

Water
I stepped through the portal and found I was under water, there was a bubble on the bottom of the ocean where I saw Asuka going about her business as if nothing was wrong, most definitely lost in another illusion. As I approached the bubble, I realized I was under attack by some reptilian enemies like some I might see in DDO, the sahuagin, and they attacked me with spears. I had to use Witchblade in combination with the same techniques I use to fly with energy to out maneuver the sahuagin and take them all out before I was able to head towards the bubble that Asuka was inside. I phased through the bubble and fell to the ground, there was no water in the bubble and I hadn't really considered that, but Asuka looked over at me as if she found my face plant to be quite amusing. I used Liberate to free her from the illusion, then opened a portal to the healing glen.

Fire
I exited the portal in a long passage, the passage had a faint red glow in it and it was very hot there, I already knew what I would find at the end of the passage. The end of the passage opened onto a huge open chamber which was actually the inside of an active volcano, the boiling lava down below looked quite agitated. On an island in the lava I saw Asuka going about her usual business. I flew out over the lava and realized there were several dragons heading towards me, breathing fire in my direction, but I didn't really want to take the time to fight several dragons at once… I counted five dragons coming at me… so instead, I swooped in, grabbed Asuka, and flew through a portal to the healing glen, taking a very shocked Asuka with me. The portal closed behind me in the face of the attacking dragons, a small burst of fire got through as the portal closed. Now that I was back to the healing glen I used Liberate to free Asuka's mind.

Wind
I stepped through the portal and found myself at a high altitude, I fell a short distance before I caught myself and flew. I was then able to take a look around, there were many floating islands in the area, one of them had Asuka on it, trapped in an illusion, and there were bird people circling the island to keep her from getting off of it even though she wasn't making any move to try to leave. I figured they were there to keep someone from coming to rescue her. There were a bunch of the bird people, all of them had staff weapons, and as they saw me, they all turned and started firing energy bolts from their staffs. There were so many of them I didn't really want to fight them all, so I chose to dive in at high speeds and grab Asuka, carrying her through a portal to the healing glen, where I used Liberate to free her mind.

Nightmare #1
I exited the portals into several nightmares at once, too. A normal looking living room in a normal looking house where MoSh was being tortured while Asuka was tied up and being forced to watch, some big ugly guy had MoSh tied up on the couch and he was working with a clippers of some kind, right now he was clipping off part of one of MoSh's fingers, he screamed in pain, Asuka screamed at him to stop that… Using Liberate destroyed the entire illusion, and it turned out both MoSh and the big ugly guy were fake, I was able to take Asuka to the healing glen.

Nightmare #2
In another one MoSh was facing her at the door to their house, he had a suitcase full of crap that was partially sticking out, and he shoved that at Asuka as he yelled at her with mean, mean, words! Asuka was crying, MoSh was saying he wished he had never met her. I used Liberate and destroyed that illusion, then took Asuka to the healing glen.

Nightmare #3
In the living room of MoSh's house, MoSh was tied up again and Asuka was standing there with a machete, and there was a big guy there, big and ugly, with a gun. He told Asuka she had to kill MoSh, Asuka said no that she couldn't. The man said she could either kill him and make it quick and relatively painless, or he would start killing MoSh slowly and painfully and Asuka could watch, it was up to her. She was crying, saying she couldn't do it, so the big guy shot MoSh in his right foot, drawing a scream of pain, making Asuka cry more. Liberate broke through this nightmare, at which point I took her through to the healing glen.

Nightmare #4
I exited the portal into a green meadow with some really beautiful trees, grass, and flowers. It was very peaceful there, looking around I realized it was a cemetery filled with very well tended grave sites, most of them had colorful flowers on them. I wandered through the grave sites until I spotted Asuka, she was dressed in black and crying, she was standing in front of a line of coffins, it seemed that not only one of her family had died, everyone in her family had died. I went over to her and saw there were more coffins than just her family, there was one that said MoSh, one for each kid, one said Nomad, one said Raven, and there were more, it appeared that there was a coffin for each person in her life right now. When I got closer to her I saw she was crying and muttering that something was all her fault, I touched her and she jumped, saying she thought I was dead… I destroyed the illusion with Liberate and took her through to the healing glen.

The Final Asuka
After completing all of those dream segments at the same time, I found I was in the healing glen with a bunch of Asukas, each Asuka was semi-translucent, I had the idea there was one more Asuka to go get, so I opened one more portal to go retrieve Asuka. I went through this portal, which I thought would be the final portal, and found myself once again outside of the warehouse that I had first found myself in front of… with the same thugs waiting for me and complaining that I wasn't MoSh. So I repeated myself one more time… killed the thugs outside, killed one of the inside thugs while the other ran away, went to the dungeon, found Asuka, Liberate to set her mind free, then took her back to the healing glen and the other Asukas.

When I got back to the healing glen, all of the Asukas merged back to one, and now she no longer looked semi-translucent. As if there was some cue for it to happen, MoSh came through a portal into the healing glen, I wasn't sure where he had come from, if he had opened his own portal or if someone had sent him through, but it didn't really matter. Asuka ran over to MoSh, throwing her arms around him, she said she had thought she would go mad with being in so many places at once… MoSh hugged her, and now there were other people there with us. I focused on using a healing spell on the both of them, I used Touch My Heart, and then I used Voices from the Macross Plus soundtrack to focus healing on MoSh's chest area, on his physical heart, due to chest pains I was worried about, possibly muscle pains, but the heart itself is a muscle… I continued the healing spells, and when they were over, everything around me faded to black and I woke.

I woke up from the previous dream and got out of bed, I had to go use the bathroom. I left my bedroom, went to the bathroom, and took care of business there before heading back to my room. A few days ago I got some letter stickers that I used to spell out "QUESTION REALITY" on the inside of my bedroom door. Those letters were not there when I had left my room, but they were there on the outside of my bedroom door as I was going back into my room. I pinched my nose, did the RC, and found I was dreaming. I became lucid.

Ok, now what was my first goal… to meet MoSh and find out about Romano! I used the door across my bedroom door and turned it into a portal to MoSh's inner world. I stepped through the door into the area outside MoSh's house, so I went right over to the house and knocked on the door, I wanted to be sure I got there and cloaked myself before Romano showed up, but I also wanted MoSh to know I was there. MoSh showed up, he opened the door and asked what was up, I told him why I was there, and he laughed a bit, then he said I was too late. Too late? I'd missed it? How could I have missed it already? I told him I had come right there as soon as I had become lucid… MoSh said Romano had already come and gone, so I had missed it… then he disappeared, apparently he had woken up.

Um… ok… that had not been expected… did I have another goal? I was pretty sure that I had more goals, but I was a bit unsure after the previous epic fail on reaching my goal… yeah. I remembered that the next goal involved meeting Nomad on the moon, we were going to talk to dolphins, which seemed unusual, but sounded interesting, so I opened a portal to the moon, to the biodome. When I got to the other side of the portal, Nomad was already there, he looked at me and smiled, then said we were going to go see the dolphins, at which point he jumped through a portal that had formed in the ground. I jumped through the portal after him and found we were falling from the sky into the ocean, I transformed into a mermaid as I dived into the water, Nomad also fell into the water, but I didn't see if he transformed.

Nomad and I swam for a short ways under the water until I spotted some dolphins, they were swimming around and playing with each other, then a couple of them came over when they spotted us. I noticed Nomad's form for the first time, he was part jaguar, and the first thing that came to mind was that he was a catfish… I started laughing, which drew weird looks from everyone, but I didn't mind. The dolphins, Nomad, and I were all communicating telepathically, Nomad asked if there was any hope for our world and those that live there, one of the dolphins clearly spoke above the others, she said there is always hope, as long as there is life there is hope. I was thinking to myself that yeah, there might be hope for the rest of the world once humans have all killed each other off… One of the dolphins said that all of that hatred is not good, he said to purge my heart of hatred. She said she had heard the saying that money is at the root of all evil, but it is not, it is hatred that is at the root of all evil.

I paused, then I asked if they didn't hate humans for destroying so much of the ocean, they responded that as a species, humans are young, like children, and when a young child pulls the tail of a dog, not understanding the harm they do, that child has to be taught, not hated. The dolphins were talking about how the purpose of living through this life was to learn and to teach, learn from those who know more and to teach those who know less, and thus exchange knowledge and allow everyone involved to advance to the next level. She said it is this knowledge that we all get to keep and take with us to the next world, the knowledge and the energy we create, whether it be positive or negative, is what we are, not these bodies. She said for an example, cats and dogs are working towards teaching humans about unconditional love, the dolphins had spent a lot of time watching humans and interacting with some, and were willing to both teach and learn, though they had found very few humans who were yet ready to learn what they have to teach. She said some other species were learning in the company of humans to care for other species, a mother tiger adopting piglets as her cubs, foxes befriending hound dogs, birds befriending cats, animals that are normally predators developing friendships with those who are usually their prey… She said that as with teaching any child, patience is needed.

I looked over to see what Nomad was doing, he was not there, I wondered where he had gone off to. Had he left with other dolphins? Had he woken up? Was there really any way to know for sure? I looked back to the dolphins I was speaking with, and I could tell they were smiling, they headed for the surface, got a breath of air, then came back down and floated in front of me again. She said that was enough of being serious… life is too short to be serious all the time… let's play! She swam off, grabbed a fish and ate it, then moved in strange patterns and pushed what seemed like a ball of denser water through the water at me. I caught it and threw it back, the dolphin batted it back with her tail, I used my mermaid tail to bat it to another dolphin, and we played with the ball of water for a while, it was fun to be in the ocean and playing with the dolphins. I continued having fun in that manner until I woke up.

Note: I started off this night with three major goals, the first was to meet up with MoSh and see if I am able to be with him when he meets up with Romano, the second was to meet up with Nomad and go into the oceans to communicate with dolphins, and the third was to go through time and view a dream Walms had where it seemed that some insane version of me was attacking him for no apparent reason. Unfortunately, I was not successful in entering my WILD upon falling asleep, which made remembering my goals in the dream state considerably harder than it would have been had I been able to use my WILD.

As I was heading to class at ITT Tech I was convinced that there was something I was supposed to be doing, someone I was supposed to meet with, but I couldn't think what I was supposed to be doing or where I was supposed to meet with someone or even who I was supposed to meet with! That was driving me nuts that I couldn't think of what I was supposed to be doing and who I was supposed to be meeting! I was so distracted by it that I drove right past ITT Tech… well, that was easy enough to fix, I would just have to make a U turn and head back to the school. There was a lot of traffic coming from the other direction, so I wouldn't be able to make a U turn, so instead I waited for a brief break in traffic and turned left into a neighborhood. I was going to just turn around and head back to the main street, but there was a concrete median in the middle of the road and I couldn't get to the other side to head back. So I continued driving down the street looking for some way to complete my U turn, some way to turn left and then head back in the direction I had just come from.

So I kept on driving along the winding road, there was no way I was going to make it to class on time now, so now not only would I end up defaulting on whatever it was I had agreed to do with whoever it was I was forgetting I would also be late for or miss my class. This was not going well at all. At least I had a pleasant drive, though, through a curvy road lined with nice houses and a lot of trees, it looked like a very nice neighborhood to live in. I came around a curve and drove up an incline towards some nice homes at the top of the hill. There was no longer a median in the center, but I had ceased caring about turning around and heading back to school. One of the houses at the top of the hill looked strikingly familiar, though I couldn't place where I had seen it before nor could I think of how I might have seen it before since I had never been down that road. I pulled up next to the house, going slowly as I tried to think of where I had seen the place before and what it might mean, when a man came out of the house and looked right at me… great… now he was going to think I was some kind of crazy person casing the joint or something…

I moved to drive away from the house, but right as I pushed on the gas my engine died even though there had not been any signs of trouble just seconds before. The man was coming over to the car now, I was wondering if he realized I was having problems or if he thought I was a nutter, I figured I could tell him I had slowed down because my engine was making noises and then it stalled. At least I would have a good excuse for having stopped right in front of his house. He came over to my car and peered in through the driver side window, smiling in a friendly manner, it was a young man who looked to be in his 20's, he had short dark hair and a nice smile and I found myself staring into his beautiful brown eyes… He asked me what I was doing, and I realized it was rude to stare at his eyes or any other part of him, and I said I was just having car problems… He looked at me strangely and asked what I was doing using a car for anyway when I normally just use portals.

The man paused, then he said what I needed to be doing was cloaking myself so Romano wouldn't see me if he was to come tonight. Romano? Who in the world was Romano? Was Romano the person I was supposed to meet? It didn't sound like it, since this man was saying I should be hidden… or cloaked… how was I supposed to be cloaked? I must have been giving him a puzzled look because he asked me what was wrong with me, get out of the car and get cloaked, Romano might be arriving at any moment, and he wanted it to look like he was alone here… I was still confused… He asked me if I really had no clue as to what was going on, he asked me if I wasn't lucid, didn't I realize this was a dream? A dream? This is a dream? The man said yes, it was a dream, so hurry up and cloak myself, Romano might be there at any minute, I still didn't know who Romano was, but I was realizing who this man was… it was MoSh… and this was a dream, so I would be able to cloak myself. I got out of the car and focused on making my energy invisible, then I focused on Of Wolf and Man and changed into a cat, a black house cat… I did that and hid my energy.

Now I followed MoSh back to the house, I was a little kitty trotting along behind him, he seemed a bit impatient and acted as if there was something that wasn't going well at all. I was going to ask him what was wrong, but all that came out was a meow. I rubbed around his legs and purred, purrs are supposed to soothe anxiety, and it seemed like he had too much anxiety right now, he absent mindedly reached down and scratched me behind the ears, so I purred louder. I saw a dog entering the room,

a big dog I didn't recognize, MoSh reached down and scooped me up into his arms and started petting me, I continued to purr. The big dog came over in our direction, and sat down in front of MoSh, he was looking at me strangely, then at MoSh. I thought I heard voices, telepathic communication? Between MoSh and the dog? Was the dog Romano? Maybe… I was trying to tune into the communication and hear the voices when everything faded to black and I woke… it seemed I woke awfully suddenly…

Notes: After successfully recalling a couple of nonsensical non-lucid dreams last night, I had a positive outlook for remembering more dreams this night… and I did! A few weird non-lucids, a couple of lucids… compared to my recall of late, my recall last night was downright epic! I am sooooo happy I seem to have broken my dry spell! On a side note, when I was about to go to bed, I checked my kitties' food dish to be sure they had food for the night. I found they did… but it was covered with ants! I was very annoyed at that, since I had to stay up long enough to clean up the ants before I could go to bed, and I think that influenced a couple of my unpleasant non-lucid dreams. I had some good recall last night, but when I fell asleep, I was not successful in slipping into my WILD…

FA - I rolled over in bed, not realizing that I was in a dream, and I felt I had a lot of itches all over my body. I tried to scratch a couple places, I didn't want to have to get up and wake myself up… I remembered cleaning up ants from my cats' food dish before bed, and I thought how strange it is that after seeing ants I often get the sensation that there are ants crawling on me even if there are not. Scratching wasn't working… and I thought I felt something. I reached for my lamp to turn on the light and see if there might be a few ants in my bed, which was really going to piss me off since now I would have to change my bed in the middle of night… The light came on and revealed that my bed, and I, was covered with ants! Hundreds of them, no, thousands of them! My first response was to get up, and try to brush them off, it wasn't working, I went to call for my mom to help and I got a mouth full of ants, I spat them out and finally did call out for my mom… and that woke me up.

FA - Wow… that had been a disturbing dream… I was still feeling the ants on me from my dream, crawling all over me. I sat up and turned on the lamp by my bed… no ants, thankfully. I sat there and thought about the dream I had just had, I heard something on the floor beside my bed. It sounded weird, but I figured it was most likely one of my cats down there doing something, most likely getting into something that she shouldn't be. I looked down to see which cat it was and stop the cat from doing something she shouldn't be… what I saw was the bloody carcass of a cat that was teeming with ants! The bloody cat moved, looking up at me and giving off a pained meow, as I was paralyzed by the sickening horror of what was happening to my poor kitty… A scream welled up in my throat and burst out, which woke me up.

FA - That was too much… I had to go check on my kitties! My poor kitties! I sat up quickly in bed, disturbing and chasing my one cat, Midna from the room. I saw a dark form of her as she ran from the room, well, at least she was ok, but I wanted to see my other two cats before I could go back to sleep. I left my room and went into my game room, my black cat, Shadow, met me at the door with a meow. I scooped her into my arms and cuddled her for a bit, then I left that room, looking to find Princess, my fluffy white cat. She wasn't in the living room or the kitchen, she was most likely in my mom's room sleeping with my mom… I didn't want to disturb my mother, but I couldn't go back to sleep without seeing that Princess was ok… I carefully opened the door to my mother's room, allowing just a small amount of light in, since Princess is white I would see her easily… I saw that the bed was moving, the whole bed was moving, it was nothing but a mound of ants! Ants! Why so many fucking ants?! Just like in my dream… wait… dream… I did a nose pinch RC and found out I was dreaming… just a dream… whew.

So I set the mound of ants on fire and burned them away without touching my mom or the two dogs and one cat on the bed… my mom looked over at me and sleepily asked me to turn up the air conditioner, she was hot. I said sure, then closed the door and moved away. Hmmm… enough playing with DC ants, my DC mom, DC dogs, and DC cats. What was my first goal? I remembered that my first goal was to go meet up with MoSh, we had wanted to see if Asuka knows anything about the enemies who most recently attacked her, to see if there was any connection between the attacks that happened earlier and the most recent attack, it seems like there are too many attacks for it to be random. So I opened a portal to MoSh's inner world and went through…

On the other side of the portal I found I was outside of MoSh's house in his inner world, MoSh was outside in his yard with a large black dog, I headed towards him and the dog. As I approached MoSh, however, the dog disappeared, MoSh looked a bit disappointed, though he didn't look like he was upset at me. I was hoping I hadn't interrupted anything important. MoSh said he was glad I was there, he gave me a big hug, I was a bit surprised, but I hugged him back and we went into the house. Asuka was inside the house, and we went into the living room, and there was a comfortable place to talk. MoSh wanted to know if Asuka knew the people who came after her the most recent time, she said no, she didn't know them, in fact, she didn't know any of the people who had come after her the first time they had done it… except those who had stolen her flame… and of course if they were trying it for a second or third time, of course she had recognized them. I asked her why, since she has been training with Vegeta and Tuvok, why she hadn't been doing more to defend herself… she said she thought I already knew that, she didn't want to lose control. I said I thought Tuvok and Vegeta had been helping her with that. She seemed a bit irritated about me asking that… She said she wasn't certain she could keep control.

Asuka added that someone had been trying to nab her off of Voyager one of the times she was there with Tuvok… but Q had interfered with that. I asked if Q had said who the asshole was. She said the guy had been hired by someone, but he hadn't known anything about whoever had hired him, just that he was going to get paid well and he was supposed to infiltrate Voyager to get someone. Great… more mysterious enemies. I was thinking it might still be a good idea to open a portal and try to track down and see if there might be any commonality that connects the various assholes who have gone after Asuka. I was about to say something about that and open a portal when everything faded and I woke.

Note: My recall has been bad lately, so my goal for this night was primarily get some of my recall back. I remember dreams better when I had a goal in mind, so my goals for tonight were to heal Asuka, MoSh said she needed healing after being in trouble recently, and also I had planned on playing a game with two other dreamers who will remain nameless because I want to see if they remember the dream. So I fell asleep using my light / sound machine, I had these goals in mind, but I only kept part of my lucidity as I slipped into a WILD… Unfortunately, I still had no recall, I had to channel this dream through my guide, Q

I was in a beautiful place. I looked around and realized I was in a beautiful forest clearing where there was a pond there, and I could see many colorful fish swimming around in the pond. Something in the back of my mind said I was dreaming right now, but I didn't really pay much attention to that voice since I was busy looking around at all the beauty of my environment. I went over to the edge of the pond and stood there watching the water and the fish for a short time, the fish were very colorful and beautiful. They looked like koi, though there were fish colored like no koi I have ever seen before. In addition to the usual oranges, reds, golds, yellows, and whites, there were also numerous blues, purples, greens, and blacks. The variety of colors in the fish was amazing, I was staring at the fish and not paying much attention to my surroundings when I realized there was someone behind me. I turned to look and I was so surprised at what I saw that I took an involuntary step backwards… and fell right into the pond, causing the colorful fish to scatter in every direction. Soaking wet, I looked up at the figure who had startled me.

I was now looking at a demon, there was really no other description that would do for this guy… he was a demon. He was very large, had bat wings folded behind him, horns on his head that curved to a point that looked quite sharp, dark colored skin with a bluish tint, a hole in his chest that looked like a gateway to Hell itself, and a big, goofy grin on his face revealed razor sharp teeth… I was doing a double take at seeing a big goofy grin on such a creature, it didn't seem to fit at all, but it was clearly there. Wait a minute… I knew that goofy grin! This was no demon standing there grinning at me, it was Nomad. I climbed out of the fish pond, dripping wet, I felt something cold and slimy in my shirt… I pulled out a fish that had been flopping around in there and threw it into the pond, and I shot Nomad what I hoped was an exacerbated look. He chuckled a bit and then said he had scared me. I said the more accurate word is startled, but that did succeed in getting me wet. Nomad blew a wall of flames around me, the fire felt warm instead of hot, and it effectively dried me off.

I said my first goal for the night was to heal Asuka, as MoSh had indicated she was in need of healing. So I figured the first thing to do would be to go get Asuka. Nomad said he would help with the healing, and while I went to get Asuka, he would bring back a couple more healers. I said that would be great as I opened a portal to MoSh's inner world and went through it. On the other side I found MoSh and Asuka were outside, near the street. MoSh was looking upset, Asuka was hanging off the arm of a big muscle bound guy that looked like he had the IQ of a rock, or maybe that assessment was insulting to the rock. Scanning everyone there, I could see the man was a DC, and not a real person… so that confirmed my assessment of a low IQ.

I heard Asuka talking to MoSh, and she was being a bitch. I heard her saying that maybe Mr. Muscle, she referred to him as Kyle, could protect her, because MoSh was continuing to have an epic fail at that one… She told MoSh she'd had enough of hanging around with a loser like him… she looked over and saw me for the first time… then she added that if MoSh wanted a gf, he should get together with me, and referred to me as another loser. She said she didn't know who was the bigger loser, MoSh or me. I told her it's not the sign of a winner to hang around with a guy that created his muscles with an air pump. She looked perplexed, so I elaborated by saying Kyle's muscles were fake, they were inflatable, put on just to impress girls. Kyle began flexing his muscles when I mentioned them, trying to show off how big they were. I went over to him and poked a needle in his right bicep muscle… and it popped! Since it was a DC, my intent had been able to influence it and make it so his muscles really were inflatable. I popped a few more of Kyle's fake muscles, he shrunk down to a scrawny little nerd with a whiny voice and really thick glasses that were held together with packing tape, he ran away from Asuka, calling to his mommy, saying the mean lady had hurt his feelings… of course he was a DC and not a real person, so I wasn't concerned with his feelings.

Asuka stood and watched Kyle disappear from sight, then she looked back at me, then at MoSh, she said if I like the dud so much I could have him. She told MoSh he had better accept that, because even though I am a complete loser, MoSh would never do any better. I told Asuka she needed healing, I opened a portal back to the biodome, MoSh and I pulled Asuka through the portal. On the other side we met up with Nomad, some angel, Basara, and a fox. The fox was already in the air, having jumped for my arms, and I reflexively caught him. I was now holding a cute fox! I hugged the soft fur and stroked the fox as all of us went over to the healing glen part of the biodome. When we got there, everyone went to healing spells, the glen filled with golden energy. The cute fox jumped from my arms and jumped into Asuka's arms where he started purring, the purr itself seemed to be generating golden energy, the rest of us were also doing healing spells. The golden energy was flowing through all of us, and it was very relaxing. We continued doing our healing spells until I got so relaxed that I finally woke.

Note: The final presentation is done and over, so the only thing to do for now was to try to get my dream control and recall back So with every intention of recalling dreams tonight, no special plans except to relax a bit after working so hard, and an attempt to WILD, I fell asleep with my light / sound machine on. Unfortunately I was unable to get into my WILD…

I was on a beach, it was nearly sunset, and the only sounds I could hear were the sounds of the waves hitting the shore, the cries of seagulls in the distance, and the sound of a gentle wind blowing in off of the ocean. The scene was very relaxing, which felt good. Even though I didn't realize I was dreaming, I still felt a need for relaxation and rest, so I sat down on the warm sand and stared out over the waves and into the colorful sky with the reds and oranges of the sunset, it was beautiful. I'm not sure how long I sat there and relaxed before I sensed that I was not alone there, there was someone else on the beach with me. I knew I wouldn't necessarily have the beach to myself for long, but I did want to see who I was sharing it with, if it was someone hot… someone creepy… someone with a dog… a psychotic looking clown… yes, that thought did enter my mind… What I did see when I turned around was an older man, he didn't look threatening or psychotic, he was by himself, he looked like an American Indian, and he was gazing off into the sunset just as I was. So I turned my attention from the man and back to the waves, birds, and the sunset.

I now sensed that the Indian man was right behind me, I could feel his gaze as he was looking right at me, and this caused me to turn around again. He was, indeed, staring at me now, and he had a disapproving look on his face. My first thought was that I was trespassing on a private beach, that would definitely explain why there weren't any other people there. He probably wanted me to leave. I felt a mixture of foolishness for wandering onto private property and annoyance at having to leave since I clearly wasn't hurting anything, but I got up, brushed sand off my pants, apologized to the man for trespassing on his beach, and started to walk away. He stopped me with a hand on my shoulder, he said he did not own the beach, no one owned the beach. Whew, that was good, so there was really nothing wrong with me being there. The man pointed out to the sea, asking if I saw something wrong. I said no, since I had been staring and not seeing anything wrong. He told me to look again, more closely. I did. The sun was hanging over the ocean, the sky was bright reds and oranges, fading to deep purple and blue overhead, and the waves flowed steadily out to sea… huh? The waves were weird… wrong somehow… I looked closer, and the water seemed to be emerging from the sand itself and flowing out to sea… that wasn't normal, so I did a RC and found I was dreaming…

I looked back at the man now, he said it was about time I became lucid, I found the way he said it to be a bit annoying, but he had made me lucid so I brushed it off. I asked him who he was, he said I should already know that now that I was lucid, unless of course I was completely blind, he said I should look at him and actually see who he was. I was getting a bit more impatient with his attitude, but I still didn't respond to that, resisting an impulse to call him an ass… there couldn't be any benefit to that. I looked at the man, focusing on seeing his energy this time, and I finally decided I was looking at don Juan, but there was something about his energy that was a bit off… right as I thought his energy was off, the frequency conformed to what I thought it should be, he said now I could see him. He pointed back out at the ocean and asked what I saw there… I saw dolphins swimming out in the ocean, so I watched them for a bit and told don Juan about the dolphins I saw even thought I thought he should be able to see them for himself.

I was watching the dolphins still when don Juan slipped a cold glass into my hand, I looked at it and it was full of a drink of some kind, he said to drink it… I sniffed the stuff, wondering what it could be, maybe I'd get my penticon implant to do a spectral analysis on the stuff before drinking it, that way I could be sure it wasn't dangerous… then that felt a bit dumb, I was in a dream, I could eat a cyanide and arsenic sandwich with cobra venom on it and a glass of bleach to wash it down, and it wouldn't be dangerous. It would be disgusting, but not dangerous… besides, I didn't remember any time where don Juan had seemed hostile, so I took a sip of the drink. It was actually pretty good, sweet and fruity, so I drank a bit more and looked back out over the ocean to see if the dolphins were still there.

The red sun was just about gone beneath the surface of the waves, and the full moon was rising a bit to the right of the sun… wtf? How could the moon be rising from the same direction the sun was setting? I rubbed my eyes, looked again, and the sun was rising now, and the moon was setting. Um… ok… well, it was a dream after all… so anything is possible in a dream, the laws of physics are not applicable here. I was absent mindedly drinking the juice when I noticed I felt strange, a bit light headed… wait a minute… the world was spinning, I was losing the dream! Damn! I focused on the moon and willed the dream to stabilize, I wasn't ready to wake up… The sun turned into a giant pacman with fangs and tore a large mouthful out of the moon, red color that looked like blood came out of the torn moon and added even brighter reds to the sky, and it caused the ocean itself to look like it was on fire. The sun ate the rest of the moon in one bite, then hundreds of stars fell from the sky and ate the sun until there was nothing left but a dark night sky filled with stars, although some of those stars were notably fatter than the others. I was just staring at that in silence until I finally muttered a, "What the FUCK was that all about?"

I took another drink and stared at the night sky for a bit longer, waiting for anything else odd to happen, and I felt something bite my lip. I looked in the glass and saw there was not much of the drink left, and there were weird worm things with lots of teeth squirming on the bottom of the glass, looking up at me and snarling, jumping to get to me to bite, one of them was hanging off of my face. I removed the worm, put it back in the glass, and felt like vomiting at the idea I might have actually swallowed one of those things… as I said, things like that won't hurt me in a dream, but it can still be extremely disgusting. I felt light headed and nauseated, what the fuck? I had been poisoned after all, though this guy hadn't seemed hostile in any way, I had been poisoned, I looked over where I knew don Juan was and I saw a clown… a weird clown with so many razor sharp fangs, blood dripping from his fangs… what the FUCK? I thought I was on a beach with don Juan, not Pennywise the Clown from Stephen King's It! The clown was grinning at me in a very evil manner, which was weird since the energy I sensed from the clown was still not hostile, maybe a bit amused, but not hostile. My penticon implant spoke to me, saying the foreign substance had been identified and was being neutralized… I closed my eyes and waited until the computer said the neutralization was complete… then I opened my eyes and looked around.

It was dark out now, there were stars in the sky, no sign of the moon, there was a faint red glow on the horizon, dolphins were playing in the ocean as the waves rolled in from the ocean instead of out to the ocean… and don Juan was standing beside me, not Pennywise the Clown, although he did look amused. I realized I was still holding the glass that had the juice in it, but when I looked it was just a bit of juice left, no worms or anything inside it. Hmmm… it seemed I was the butt of some kind of joke here… I took a deep breath and looked over at don Juan, I asked him what the point of that had been, because if it was a poison, he should know I can't be poisoned in the dream state… He looked into my eyes and got a strange look on his face. I had no doubt in my mind that the drink had been poisoned… my penticon said the drink would be safe now, since the substance to neutralize the poison was already in my system. Don Juan was still staring… I commented it's rude to stare… I then commented that the fruit drink was good, asked if he had any more of it… he said sure, and filled my glass from a flask, so I drank down the poison then deliberately smirked… then accidently burped… a long, loud, and embarrassing one that smelled like fruit… I said, "Excuse me," out of habit.

Don Juan asked if I could sense all the different way things are… he said I should be doing it effortlessly now, but… he seemed a bit puzzled… He said I have already done it in dreams, I have seen many worlds at once in the dream state… he indicated the ocean, I saw don Juan standing in front of the ocean (a gunslinger at the edge of a desert) (an old hic at the edge of a swamp) (a fire elemental beside an ocean of lava) (and Indian shaman at a fire at the edge of a thick forest) (a desolate ocean bed with a vampire in front of it) (a massive storm that was blowing with intense force, no sign of don Juan or anyone else) (a battlefield with many dead and dying soldiers lying everywhere, one not far from me was screaming as a vulture was eating him while he still lived as a soldier beside me pointed and laughed) (a field of colorful flowers and a country man standing beside me) (a vast level area of land with an army of Goa'uld marching across it, Teal'c was beside me) There were so many different versions I wasn't able to focus enough to take action in any of them, it was quite disorienting…

Then I heard don Juan speaking to me, focused on that, and pulled myself back into one world, seeing one place, one time… The beach was completely dark now, illuminated only by the dim glow of the stars, my eyes adjusted to the darkness and I could see don Juan was still there, and he was speaking. He said I have the ability to see into many worlds at once when in the dream state, and with practice, to take a different action in each one of those worlds, so why hadn't I yet tried to exist in even two worlds simultaneously while awake? I said it was because I would never believe it or trust it to be real. He asked why not, I said I would have no way of being certain I was having an effect on another world or just pulling fictional shit out of my ass. He said I have to learn not to question what my own senses tell me, be they physical senses or other senses, it is completely normal for a nagual to see many planes and interact with them simultaneously… ok, there's your problem… I am not a nagual, if you want to talk to a nagual, maybe I could bring MoSh to this dream… He said he will find MoSh on his own when it is time, but now he was telling me to use the powers I have IWL… I said I have no powers IWL. He said I do have powers there, he said my friend thinks he is full of shit, so was I saying I agree with that, was I also saying he was full of shit? I wondered how he was so sure I have a friend who thinks he is full of shit… he said he wasn't blind, and that is fine if she wants to think that, she will find her own path. So, did my opinion match hers? That he was full of shit? I wasn't sure what to say, I didn't want to be rude and say yes, he's full of shit, but I know I have no powers IWL… so I said nothing.

After waiting for a short time, don Juan said again to use my powers IWL, I repeated I have no power IWL, to me we were both starting to sound like broken records, repeating over and over and over… I was getting impatient. I said of course I have no powers IWL, that's why they locked me into the trash hole of a dimension where I am now imprisoned. I'm not sure why I said someone sealed me in my home dimension… he said the prison couldn't be secure if I was there, on that beach, with him right now… I said apparently there is a breach that allows for dream travels… but on the physical plane, any powers I had have been sealed. He asked who had sealed my powers. I said I didn't know, maybe the Templars? He laughed, said not even close. He said the only one who had sealed my powers in my waking world was me, sealed it with doubt and disbelief, self doubt and refusal to believe in myself, because without those two things nothing will ever be possible. Or, of course, if I prefer to think he is full of shit, then go ask someone else and they will say the same things using different words. I really wasn't sure what to say right now, but I didn't have a chance to say anything before the dream faded and I woke.

Raven and I meet up at the base of the Tower near the entrance to BanYanLand.

Along the way, a bunch of other dreamers appear: MoSh, Loaf, Tigress, mowglycdb, and Walms. Mosh is wearing a white robe with a hood and green trim. His eye are two green gems. I ask him why he's wearing the robe.

He grins at me: I AM A SPACE DRUID. His eyes sparkle, and lightning crackles across his teeth when he says it.

ok.. these are supposed to be notes.

We meet Bobby AKA DJ Sabertooth, AKA Saber. He is a giant were-saber-toothed tiger in a green smoking jacket. He is smoking a giant joint. We hop in a flying car, and he gives us a tour.

He talks about the ecology of the place, and how he set up everything to go in circles.

He says it's a prototype for a self-sustained Tree-House-Farm. Wow! Permaculture.

EXACTLY.

There is a silk factory, silkworms... koi... He says the silkworms are weaving dream fabric.

The place is HUGE.

One. Giant. Tree.

We become ant-people and crawl all over the tree.

Bobby and Raven laugh maniacally. MoSh is confused. Loaf freaks out. Walms doesn't seem to notice. Tigress shrugs. I gnaw at the tree.

Note: I fell asleep with my light / sound machine as I usually do, with the intent to accomplish a couple of goals. My goals included meeting with Nomad on the moon to share some energy with him because he said he has been so worn out lately, MoSh said he would help with this. Second I planned to go and view another dream from the past, another of MoSh's dreams, and then I had plans to locate Blake and maybe have an Oblivion dream with Tigress if I could get that. That seemed like a lot of dreams for one night, but I figured I would just get in what I had time for. I fell asleep and slipped into my WILD…

I didn't even have to take a look around to realize where I had entered the dream, no hesitation, I headed straight for the front door of MoSh's house and knocked. No one opened the door, but there was a voice behind me, and when I turned I saw MoSh there with Asuka. I asked MoSh if he was lucid, he said he was, I asked if he was going to remember the dream, he said no. Asuka pulled a Gibbs on him (a slap to the back of the head) and told him that he would remember the dream, not an option. I opened a portal to the moon, to get to the BanYan tree near the base of the tower, and it opened. MoSh and I went through the portal, but I was surprised Asuka didn't follow us. The portal closed behind us.

I followed MoSh over to a tree, a huge tree that was standing at the base of an even bigger tower, I stood there and stared at the tree for a few minutes, It was a huge tree that had numerous pod type structures connected by walkways in the branches, it was a pretty amazing looking tree… I was thinking that would be a cool thing to have in an RPG… a huge tree with all those different pods in it, it looked big enough to be an entire city in the tree. I went over to the tree, I spotted Nomad near the base of it, he was talking to someone that looked a bit familiar… Nomad was talking to someone who appeared to be part human, but mostly tiger… Nomad seemed to be enjoying talking to him, MoSh and I went over to the two of them. Nomad asked if we remembered his cousin, Bobby? Who now goes by Saber? I said I remembered seeing him once before, in a previous dream. I told Nomad I was there to give him some extra energy, MoSh was going to help with that… I saw there was a fox there with us, the fox came over to me and sat there, looking up at me… cute! It made me want to pick up the fox and hug it… So I scooped the fox into my arms… the fox allowed that… and I was petting the fox when MoSh was trying to get my attention, he said if I was through snuggling with Pablo maybe we could do what we came for. Snuggling with Pablo? I looked closer at the fox I was holding… yup. The energy signature was Pablo's… I asked if he was going to share positive energy with Nomad. The fox licked my nose… I set the fox down and then we went ahead and did healing spells to transfer positive energy to Nomad, golden energy formed and filled all of us there… it was a very pleasant energy.

After sharing energy with Nomad, his cousin, the tiger man, wanted to show off what he had done with the tree, the BanYan tree, which had once been Nomad's moon house and now had reached the scale of a small city. We looked through some of the various chambers inside the pods, and it was really an awesome place… it had everything, pods with various rooms, pods with natural habitats, pods with healing areas, many of the pods were much larger on the inside than they appeared to be from the outside. Some of the pods seemed to be there for production, growing crops of various kinds, some I recognized and many I didn't, pods with various animals and insects that were producing cloths… Saber said they would be sold in the city in the biodome and Nowhere, free, of course. There is no need of money there… MoSh seemed impatient, I thought about that for a bit and I remembered there were events from the past he wanted to take a second look at, so I told Nomad that MoSh and I had something to do, but we, or at least I, would be back to share more energy with him later.

I had said something about checking back on MoSh to see if he wanted to go on an adventure, but I figured I could accomplished another task of the month for Mortal Mist in the process. I would go through a mirror to get back to the biodome!

So with the goal of going through a mirror to get back into the biodome, and thus back to MoSh, I summoned a mirror right in front of Pablo and myself. The mirror was a full body mirror, oval in shape, and it was sitting up off of the ground on a stand. It would easily make a large enough portal for Pablo and me to go through. I am not very familiar with using mirrors for travel, so I tried a couple of times… I tried touching the mirror… it was solid. I then focused on making the surface of the mirror fluid, picturing it as if it weren't solid but instead was the perfectly still surface of a pool of water, so when it was touched it would ripple. I visualized that clearly in my mind and then reached out and touched the mirror again. I got the ripples I was looking for. So now I just had to set the destination. I focused on the portal leading to the hot springs in the biodome. As I was focusing, the mirror changed from a still reflective surface to an actual portal in the mirror… I thought that looked really cool, a wormhole starting at the mirror… so I picked up the Pablo fox, held him close against my body so we wouldn't possibly get separated, and stepped through the mirror into the wormhole.

The ride through the wormhole was a rather wild one, like going on a really intense roller coaster… only much faster than any roller coaster I have ever experienced. The wormhole seemed awfully long considering that the distance between the surface of the moon and the biodome isn't that far… It seemed to me that in that case it was senseless to use a wormhole since it seemed to be taking much longer than just teleporting there or using a normal portal. But whatever, I wasn't in a huge hurry, and the ride was rather fun… or at least I thought it was fun… the fox in my arms looked a little nauseated… and then we finally came out the other side of the portal… and fell down over a desert, I landed on the back of a horse… wtf? I was on Stardust's back, Pablo was clinging to me, no doubt as surprised by this turn of events as I was. I looked around and saw I wasn't alone, Nomad was with us… so was Angel… and MoSh… and Altaïr… Spike… they were also riding horses… and we were being chased by Templars also on horses… what the hell was going on here? I had set a portal to go to the biodome and now I was here…

Ok, while I wasn't sure what was going on or how I had ended up here, it was pretty clear that I would have to fight the Templars… I rode over closer to MoSh and asked him what was going on, had Nomad found him in the biodome? Were Asuka and the kids ok? He gave me a strange look, but I didn't have time to think about that, Templars were shooting arrows at us. I moved away from MoSh and started throwing fireballs at the Templars. Nomad was throwing white blasts of energy, MoSh was throwing what looked like small daggers that were sparking with a green light… We were doing that, then suddenly Angel jumped from her horse, pulled out a couple of short swords, and proceeded to hop from horse to horse, killing the Templar on the back of each horse before moving on. She soon got back to the rest of us and got back on her horse, which had continued running the whole time. I used Battery and called down lightning to strike as many Templars as possible, taking them out while leaving their mounts unharmed. I didn't want to hurt the horses… We rode farther across the desert until we came to an enormous sink hole… we got off our horses to investigate. The horses were getting fatigued, well Stardust wasn't, but the others just had normal horses… I looked and saw the Templars' horses had continued following us even though they had no riders. I focused on teleporting them… not sure where, but I could see that it had lots of green grass and plentiful water… it looked like paradise for horses. All of the horses disappeared, including Stardust.

Nomad was looking down into the sinkhole with obvious interest, he said he wanted to jump in it. I asked why, pointing out we had no idea where it might lead, he said it didn't matter since we were dreaming and could not be hurt. I felt movement under my Assassin's robes, which I was finally able to take the time to notice I had the Assassin's robes on, and I realized Pablo had burrowed down under the robes to where he apparently felt safe… or as safe as possible. All of the others were dressed in Assassin's robes, too. Altaïr commented that not all of them were dreamers, Angel, Spike, and himself were not dreaming… but at the same time he didn't really have any objections to exploring someplace new… he did that all the time. What's the worst that could happen? MoSh said death, Altaïr said no, death is not the worst thing that can happen, some things are much worse than death. Spike said he couldn't die since he was already dead. Nomad had already made up his mind and jumped into the sinkhole, I figured I had better follow him, and everyone else apparently decided to follow the both of us.

The sand was flowing through a hole at the bottom and into a cave underneath, I grabbed onto a ledge with a tendril of Witchblade… and felt claws digging into my stomach as Pablo grabbed onto me with his claws… then some weight hanging off of me as Altaïr had grabbed hold of me… Spike flew over the hole in the ground and landed on solid ground at the opening of a cave. Altaïr jumped to that ledge and also climbed out, Angel floated over there, Nomad and MoSh both flew over and Witchblade pulled me up with the tendril. So now we were all in the entrance of a cave watching sand fall past us just outside the cave… it seemed the sand must eventually stop, there couldn't be an infinite amount of sand… but the only way for us to go was forward.

I took a couple minutes to disengage Pablo's claws from my stomach… ow… and then I set the fox down, he immediately changed into a state that was half human and half fox, looking something like Fox McCloud from the Starfox games. He looked over at me and said he was sorry about the thing with the claws, it had just been an instinctive reaction, I told him not to worry about it as I quickly healed the stinging cuts in my stomach. So the group of us started walking down the passage, through the dark caves, we couldn't see much. We groped along a bit longer, I heard Angel up ahead saying something was hers… it sounded like Gollum talking about the ring of doom, I almost expected her to demand someone give her back her precious. Wtf? I also heard Nomad curse… something was going on around us, I needed to see what. I adjusted my eyesight to see in the dark… I did that a bit too soon, because a blindingly bright light extended from Nomad as he tried to light the area, I couldn't see anything! I heard a commotion all around us, sounded like a lot of bats, he had probably stirred up some sleeping bats… way to go… I finally got my sight back, and the bats weren't running for a darker part of the cave, they were viciously attacking us… scratching and biting… something was odd about their energy. Their energy was off because they weren't typical bats, they were vampire bats… and I don't mean the kind of bat that drinks a small amount of blood and moves on, I meant the type of bat some types of vampire are able to transform into… Nomad formed a shield around all of us just as I was about to use Enter Sandman, I told him to drop it long enough to do the spell… he looked at me strangely, then dropped it, and I activated the spell… the whirlwind of dark and light energy pulled a lot of the bats into it, burning them as it did, and the others headed off in different directions through small passages in the cave.

So now all of us were in the cave alone, we were actually in a small chamber rather than just another extent of cave, and there were many exits from the chamber. The only problem was that most of the exits were much too small for us to fit through, at least too small to fit through in our current forms. Someone asked what had been with those bats… I said those weren't bats, they were vampires, we had somehow wandered into a vampire lair. There were four passages that we were able to fit through. One of those was where we had come from, the other three were new and unexplored. MoSh and Spike went left, Nomad and Angel went right, Altaïr, Pablo, and I went straight. We traveled for a short distance before emerging into a huge chamber, there were platforms hanging precariously over molten magma, it looked like it was a volcano… if it erupted, those platforms were history… but for now it looked like a bad platformer game. There was a man on the highest platform, he was dressed in a dark cloak and completely covered, he was mouthing off about how we had made a big mistake to disturb him… but he had been expecting us.

This is the first time I really noticed that I was alone… Pablo and Altaïr were gone, probably they sensed the hostility in this creature just as I did, and they were getting into a good position to respond to an attack. I saw Nomad and Angel emerge from a cave and onto a platform to my right, Spike and MoSh emerged on my left… all roads lead to this hell hole… The cloaked figure turned around and faced us, he seemed to be looking mostly at me since I was in the middle, and he said he was assuming we had come to get our friend back… he indicated a cage hanging over the tallest platform, there was a man in the cage who looked an awful lot like Spike… but that was impossible, Spike was right here… I looked to my left to reassure myself Spike was still there with MoSh, which he was. I figured the one in the cage must be a twinner… The cloaked figure continued to say he would be glad to let our friend go, after we defeated him. So it was going to be a fight! His loss… or very soon it would be his loss… Nomad wanted to know who the fuck he was, and he just said he was known as Death.

So the fight started then, Death appeared to be made entirely of bats… he grew in size and then released a cloud of bats from his cloak, more bats than could possibly have fit in that cloak, and they all attacked us. I used Enter Sandman again, creating another whirlwind to destroy the bats closest to us… and then they all turned back to their master, re-joining him. I saw Altaïr and Pablo were right behind Death, each of them had a hidden blade stuck into Death's back… He was pissed and in pain, trying to reach back for them, but not getting anywhere… Now everyone there combined out attacks. MoSh was a naga, breathing green flames on the asshole right as Pablo and Altaïr jumped clear… Angel fired a white arrow, Nomad threw something that looked like a spear, Spike popped up right in front of him, which clearly caused him quite a surprise to see Spike healthy and free, and sucked the energy out of him… and then he collapsed and turned to dust. As the dust blew away I could hear Death's voice saying he would never die… for Death is immortal.

I flew over to the cage that the other Spike was in and forced the lock open, then I flew in and landed beside Spike, he looked horrible. He was battered and beaten horribly, parts of his flesh were hanging off in loose chunks… yuck… he looked deader than undead… I got beside him and spoke his name, he weakly looked up at me and managed a small smile. He called me Buffy, and said he knew I would come… the Vampire King had said I wouldn't, he had said no one would care what happened, but he had known all along that I would come. I didn't see the point in arguing that I wasn't Buffy… he needed blood, that much was clear, and a lot more healing than that could do… I commented to Spike that he needed to feed, he said nah… he wasn't hungry… he was being sarcastic… I told him to bite me, and take some of my blood. He said no, with the state he was in he wasn't certain he could stop himself before he took too much. I told him not to worry about that, it was complicated and I would explain later, but I wasn't the Buffy he knows, and there is no way he can kill me here. He looked at me blankly. I repeated to him to not be stubborn, to go ahead and bite me, dammit, and drink some of my blood. He finally did. If I had been a normal human, I think it probably would have killed me… but I also think he could have stopped. He paused a time or two to check on me, and only took more when he realized it had not had any ill effect on me. He finally stopped, he looked some better, but he was still in desperate need of healing. Everyone was there with me now, and I opened a portal to the healing glen…

On the other side we were in the healing glen, I heard the sound of the Crystal Golem approaching, shaking the ground as he approached. He wouldn't be sneaking up on anyone… I called out to him that we'd been in a big fight, and needed his healing! Nomad prepared his weapon… um… why was he going to threaten the Crystal Golem? I told Nomad there was no need to fight here… I thought maybe he had lost lucidity. The Crystal Golem said he would heal Spike… He applied some herbs, did some energy work, and then he and Nomad headed off to do something… I think for some reason Nomad wanted to fight the Crystal Golem… whatever. I stayed with Spike and contributed my healing energy to his recovery.

Note: My recall lately has been sucking, but last night it took a rocket ship right out of this world, straight to epic! My plans were simple enough… first to go pick up MoSh, Asuka, and the kids to take them to the healing hot springs in the biodome on the moon, and then to maybe complete a task from the list of tasks of the month from Mortal Mist which include a basic task of summoning a large thunder storm, an intermediate task of stepping through a mirror, and an advanced task of multiplying or cloning one's self. So I used my light / sound machine and slipped into a WILD that turned out to be much more epic than I expected. I will be breaking it into a few parts here…

Since my first goal was to fetch MoSh and his family, I appeared in the usual place within MoSh's inner world that I always appear. I went to the door and knocked on it, Asuka came to the door and said MoSh was just about to arrive into a deep dream state. She said she would get the kids and be ready to go, I could help myself to some cookies in the mean time. I saw a plate of steaming cookies on the table in the living room. I reached for a cookie, but before I could take one, a big black dog ate them all, seemed to grin at me, and then left the room. Soon Asuka returned with MoSh and the kids. Asuka looked at the empty cookie plate and commented that I must have been hungry, I was going to say I hadn't even eaten one, but everyone was in a hurry to go, so we left. I opened a portal back to the biodome, and entered the place near the koi pond.

When I got to the koi pond I saw there was someone there. It was a man, and he was looking into the koi pond, watching the fish, and I wondered if he was one of the people I had suggested meet me there. I went over to him and tried to get his attention. I told him I was Raven, asked who he was, but he didn't seem very lucid at all. He just stared into the water at the colorful fish, finally he made a comment as to how pretty they were, and then he looked at me with a blank look in his eyes. He asked me if I had ever seen the fish fly so beautifully… um… I said they aren't flying, they're swimming, but he still looked out of it. He looked back at the fish… he had dark hair that came to about the base of his neck, was wearing jeans and a solid black t-shirt, he had a pendant around his neck that was silver and had some blue gems set in it… I couldn't see it very well, though… then he disappeared.

So now I went with MoSh and the others down the path to the hot springs, where Asuka climbed slowly in, a small amount of dirty brown stuff washed off of her… and quickly dispersed into the water. MoSh did a graceless cannonball, soaking everyone in the vicinity, including me… I considered getting into the water, but then I stopped myself… I didn't want to do that, I had too much dark energy in me now, and I figured getting in there now wouldn't be of any benefit as it would take some of my energy away and put unnecessary contamination into the water. So I watched MoSh and Asuka in the water along with the kids. The kids were playing around and having fun, MoSh and Asuka were sitting close together on the other side of the spring. MoSh waved to me to come on it, the water is great, I commented to him about why I wasn't going to do that, and added that I had some other goals I wanted to accomplish. MoSh said if I needed help he could go with me after he spent a while in the spring. I said I was going to complete a task of the month for Mortal Mist first, but I could come back and maybe pick him up later.

I turned to walk away from the spring and was almost knocked back into the water by a ball of excited fur jumping into my arms. I kept my balance and realized the ball of fur was a cute fox, it was no doubt Pablo, showing up in his fox form yet again. Cute! So as I pondered where it would be safe to create a massive thunder storm I walked through the biodome and petted Pablo as I went, scratching him behind his ears to hear him purr. I finally decided that just outside the biodome, on the moon itself, would be a good place for a storm, so that's where I headed…
