Winter Competition 2024 One - Nap One (DILD) 01.07.2024

I think I wake up but it is a false awakening. Normally my false awakenings are at my childhood home at night but this one is my current bedroom during the day. I was planning on starting dating in a few months but in the dream I feel like making a Bumble account right away for some reason. I find myself staggering because gravity is all sorts of off. I do a reality check and confirm it's lucid. I am really suprised and remember my goal is simply to take off the VR headset. I reach up to my head and try but I can't feel one or force one to be there. I think it's because I didn't bother willing there to be one before trying. I wake up.

It is super hard to get out of bed. I sit up and do another nose pinch RC and it is still a dream. I am always in awe of how really flase awakenings feel. I sit up in bed and try swiping up the VR hud from my left wrist but nothing happens. I say, "Clara", the name of my AI assistant and she doesn't respond. These things never seem to work as well in FAs as they do in other lucid dreams.

I wake up into two more FAs before my real life eyes open and I am awake.


Winter Competition 2024 One - Nap Two (DILD) 01.07.2024

I am in a Dungeons and Dragons lucid dream. I don't remember the beginning of it. We defeat some hard enemies but one of our people gets cursed and becomes a powerful Oath Breaker Paladin or something he kills everyone, me last and I respawn inside my childhood home. It is dark. Familiar teritory. I know he is outside ready to chop me in half again. I have a bunch of D&D minis that I turn into full size fighters that I send outside. I hear them all get defeated and then the paladin comes inside and kills me for me to go back in time and start over. I send more and more minitures at him each time. The last time I send 8 powerful constructs after him and notice the house is getting surrounded by drow and vampires. "Even more trouble!", I think when I wake up.

I had a lot more dreams than this but I only remember the part where I was most lucid.

Winter Competition 2024 One (DILD) 01.07.2024

I am lucid and flying over a futuristic city. I have to find a kitten that went missing. I fly down to one of the tops of the buildings and found it hiding. I pick it up and then interact with some DCs. Unfortunately I can't remember much more than that.

I woke up at 5:00 AM to WBTB and took AlphaGPC and Galantamine. My recall of the dream isn't perfect because I had a couple hours of dreams after this dream was over.

Juliana Vs JadeGreen One (MILD) 12.06.2023

I am in a dream that is based on The Last of Us. The dream starts out with the beginning of the outbreak and gets to the point where there are survivors living in small walled-off communities. I remmeber part of the dream I was fighting a zombie with a can of beans, trying vainly to crush his skull in. Later on, it is a nice sunny day and I am outside the wall. There are no zombies around and I become lucid spontaneously from my MILD and supplements. I fly up in the air before thinking about my goals. It feels good to fly again because it has been a while. Then I remember I was supposed to spectate Jay and Hade sparring. I fly back down and find them in the road. I tell them to get ready and say, "Jay, take out your wand." She does and I say, "3, 2, 1, Fight!"

Hade fires up his jets (although the fire is invisible for some reason.) and Jay starts the somatic components to cast a spell. Hade closes the short distance and sumersaults in the air so he can kick Jay's wand out of her hand. Hre wand goes flying and he follows up with a kick to her center of mass.

I remmeber Manei should be here so I turn around and Manei is there. I give her a hug and turn around to see the fight is over and Hade won. I talked with Jay a bit after this but I can't remember what we said or what happens next.

I took a nap and had this dream! I wish I could remember more of it.

Elminster and Strangespace (DILD) 12.03.2023

I don't remember how this dream started or how I became lucid but I am moving into a new apartment and know it's a dream. I must have summoned Elminster (Elminster is one of my tulpas. This is the second time he has shown up in a dream!) or he showed up because I was talking to him. Later on, we went to the grocery store together to get ice cream. I lose lucidity while waiting for a woman to get out of the way for El and me to get our ice cream. After she is gone I am amazed that I can see him so clearly next to me. I am talking to him out loud and know that no one else can see him so I must look crazy. I wake up for a bit.

I quickly fall back asleep into a dream. I am in my new apartment with friends I don't recognize and we are playing D&D. I am DMing and the party gets trapped in a demi plane that might have been one in my setting called Strangespace. It was a maze of interconnecting rooms that sometimes loops back on itself in impossible ways and is filled with monsters. Suddenly, I found myself actually living out the life of a character in the game instead of sitting around a table. We are so scared and are trying to escape.

We finally make it far enough away from where we started to find other "friendly" humanoids. They strike a deal with us to show us the way out. Ultimately we fail to follow up on the deal and have to go to court to defend ourselves. Then I wake up again.

I am in a hotel or store and I put a photo of myself into a machine. It was a large machine looked almost like on of those old ATM machines in the bank built into the wall. It printed out a portrait of myself but it was blurred and not completely printed on the one side of my face. Then it printed out a few more photos of myself. It was only when I saw the photos I noticed I had two small braids in my hair one on either side of my temples. I wanted to redo the photo not only because I didn’t like my hair but because it did’nt print out correctly. There were two nice women working in there and I told them the machine wasn’t working properly. They were closing the hotel/shop I was in. I sat on a lobby couch and we started chatting and talking about life a bit. I then look on my iPad and the machine had sent a video. I clicked play and it was a video of my 20/30 something self talking. I looked very put together and I liked it. It continued playing memories. I thought “Wow, how nice this is!” Then it was a memory of me on a talk show and a women came out on stage that I had not seen in many years an old friend. I gave her a big hug. Someone handed us these aprons they were super cute and we put them on. I started thinking " wait… I remember those aprons my friend Laraina made them for me and two small matching ones for my daughters when they were little about 10 years ago, I didn’t get them on a talk show"! Then I started realizing that the memories I was watching were all pieces of my life reorganizing into a different context and not how it truly happened. I suddenly remembered AI and reading something about allowing AI into my computer to help with daily tasks such as typing, responding to emails, and organizing photos. As the movie continued there was a chase scene that appeared to be from some action scene. I didn’t recognize the actors
but the what they were saying were phrases I had used and maybe posted online at some point. The audio was decently from my real life interactions but the two men and the scene I did not recognize.
It was at this point I realized I was lucid. I was suddenly in the building I was watching the chase scene happening in. I started looking around the building it was very barren. There were white doors I opened one and there was a strange looking toilet. Only the toilet in a very small rectangular white room. I opened the lid and it was clean and empty. Then I was going to the next door when I woke up.
In WL I went down stairs to make coffee and I turned on Youtube and the first thing that popped up was Sky New Australia Interviews “free-thinking” AI.

Making this post now even though this dream was approximately a week ago, and I didn't have access to a computer then. Anyway, here goes the dream:

I wake up, and I look at the clock: 11:23 AM. I was wondering why I woke up now, considering I had set a timer for 8 AM. Then, I see the 3 disappear on the clock. I was confused at first, but my initial thought was to look at my fingers, and I was missing my pinky and ring finger on my right hand, so I immediately knew.

Though I have to say, it felt like a very low-level lucid, barely any awareness at all.

Anyways, I immediately thought about my cousin's house in Pennsylvania, and I wanted to teleport to it, so I did, and it was mind-blowingly accurate, even though I had a birds-eye view. I remember going on Google Earth (in real life) and looking at his house (my cousin's house) from the satellite view, and that's exactly how it looked in the dream.

That was about the end of the dream though, so pretty low-level, but cool I guess. I haven't even practiced reality checks in over a year, if not a year and a half now, so I'm confused why this happened. I guess it stuck with me which is a good thing I suppose.

I got lucid after going back to sleep
I kind of were subtle about realizing I'm asleep, carefully checked my hands, then just going on, I thought the dream is against me being lucid
I went out then everything turned into nothing
then I tried to stabilize because there was nothing infont of me really, just sludges of colour
I thought then I guess I can try imagine a scene, then it kind of came to me
now I was in a house, looking out of a window with no glasses
a swamp formed in front of me, there was.... water was everywhere, calm water, and green trees and a blueish lightish fog not too thick, made me feel like I'm in a closed comforting space
I heard some birds in the distance
I just stood there and absorbed the landscape, just chilling, it was really nice

Biker bar shenanigans

I am in a biker bar that is dimly lit
There were other instances before this that blurred together
I am looking around at the neon signs and people sitting around the bar
All of their facial features seem blurred and misshaped
I immediately know that I am dreaming
Looking at my hands, yup too many fingers and two thumbs per hand
I try to remember my dream tasks and decide to summon
Swinging my hand out and back in I have a gun in my hand
Nope, did that already, I de-summon it while looking at it, just fading into nothing
Remembering I’m in a bar I decide a beer would be nice!
A bottle slowly phases into my gripping hand while I look at it
The DCs around me are staring(through their deformed eyes)
I gather I am putting on a magic show of sorts for them lol
Hold the beer up to drink it exaggeratedly and feel the liquid going into my mouth
It tastes like nothing, like no carbonation or anything, almost like drinking air that has volume to it, I am let down because I wanted to drink something in a dream
It seems to be hard to remember the whole list of tasks from the competition
I remember thinking about telekinesis (this used to be my most reliable dream sign but had the thought the other day I haven't had any TK dreams in quite some time)
Reaching out with one hand I levitate all the bottles sitting on the bar
People sitting around stand up and audibly gasp
Oh boy now I’m causing a scene
I drop them all at once and hear some glass breaking
I walk around the bar just taking in the details
It seems dimly lit and not as clear as I would prefer so I say in my mind loudly “CLEAR”
The picture snaps into focus and brightens some, good enough
I then remember thinking how I’ve never made a portal in dream and that would be interesting
Holding my hand out with two fingers extended like Dr. Strange I start drawing semi-circles in the air
Greenish sparks start coming out of my fingers and I can see the outline of the portal forming
I’m unsure where I want to go, the portal seems to be fading in and out
It is now a large human-sized oval greenish portal like from rick’s portal gun
I sidestep into it without a clear idea of where I’ll end up
The dream pauses/does that screen shake thing that happens when you walk through a portal in VR chat
The dream destabilizes and I lose lucidity as the next dream locale boots up

I befriend a younger couple, and the girl has eyes for me
I attempt not to be disrespectful but the guy is constantly leaving us alone
It feels like a survival situation
We have a hole with cargo nets in it we can hide in to be safe

I throw a grenade through a window a great distance away, and hear the enemies yelp before it goes boom

I am with my friend who has started a fire in his backyard to keep us warm
He started the fire inside a dilapidated shed with no roof and missing a wall or two
I worry the fire could spread
Some time elapses and I go back to his backyard to check on things
The fire has completely engulfed the shed as it was mostly all dried aged wood frames
He doesn't seem to mind much because they were going to have to clear it away anyway
I am slightly concerned at the size of it and people might notice
Then we hear the news playing from inside his house
They are reporting a house fire seen from miles away
They describe the location as being exactly where we are
I think, oh boy here we go
The dream fades while we talk about how to deal with the tall flames

Cyberpunk Chase & Planet Mu

I am in a suburban neighborhood at night
One of my old friends is with me we are exploring different homes along the way
I gather we are also being pursued by some unnamed force
Random things keep happening, streetlights are changing shapes in front of me
I have an umbrella that has a tv antenna coming out of the end, it keeps getting longer like 15'
Try to show my friend next to me and he doesn't realize what's wrong
I look back and there is a pizza box-looking object now on the end of the umbrella
I wonder why nothing I'm looking at stays the same as we're exploring
We are at his friend's house with his friend sleeping on the couch, we try to be quiet to not wake her up and I wonder if they will be mad we just walked into their home
We go from building to building just exploring the street
The scenery turns into a cyberpunk-type city
Dingy streets with neon storefronts on the street level with high rises surrounding me
I realize I am trying to get a job maybe
I am very dirty like a vagabond with a dirty face as well, they are all put of by how I look
Entering a storefront that almost looks like a bank, I am applying for a loan and they turn me down without a second's hesitation
My friend is an alien now with an orange leopard face and time cop fatigues
The employee of the store are all alien cops coming after us
He shoots them with a red phaser-type alien weapon as we are in a shootout with different colored lasers flying all over the place
He tosses me an alien gun
I catch it midair and begin shooting the guys coming for us
The shape of the gun is compact like a toy with red accents and a short barrel that shoots red pew pew lasers
Seemingly ineffective with a single shot and gather I need to hit them multiple times for the stun to be effective
It feels like we are robbing the bank maybe
I notice other weapons on desks as we make our way through the office space
Grabbing one with my free hand it is larger, boxy, and gray with blue beams
So I'm dual-wielding laser weapons shooting our way out
The room opens up into a quite large atrium with many types of aliens scattered about almost like the MIB headquarters
We are on the 7th or 8th floor overlooking the open area with everyone down below
I somehow am able to change shape into an alien being while I hide
As we're leaning against the guardrail hiding the alien cops are still looking for us
I overhear one of them say to the other
"Tell me why the number one wanted delinquent kid in the city spends his entire time in virtual cafes"
I understand now I am VR-hopping to escape and can choose whatever I experience
The entire dream before makes sense now as reality keeps shifting right in front of me
My friend changes into another alien which is ~3' tall chubby gray with smooth features and large cartoonish white eyes with black pupils
Noticing all the changes I say to them "This has got to be a dream"
He responds "Well, yeah?"
I am instantly lucid but also frustrated because this is not what I wanted to experience
My friend responds "I TRIED TO MAKE IT SOMETHING YOU'D LIKE, WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?"
I say "I want the Pearls, I want to be on planet MU"
And he replies "SURE LETS GOOO!!" while waving his arms up with a magical motion
As I turn around the entire scene dissolves and in its place a very scenic ocean landscape manifests itself
All the dozens of aliens that were around us turn into variants of the pearls though none were shaped exactly like them
I see the bright beach in the distance with house-sized shells and a tropical shoreline
We are all in the ocean traveling that way as a group
Realize even more strongly that it's a dream I remember my lucid goals
First, to summon something, I think of summoning the phaser I had earlier
So I swing my arm out of vision intending the alien gun to appear feeling the weight of it in my hand
I swing my arm back and it's there, spinning it like a cowboy I laugh and toss it away
Also remembering I need to fly as well
So I pick up two people on either side of me as I slowly levitate out of the water and fly over the crowd of other beings
We are all still going toward the island now at greater speeds
I am above everyone moving quickly and remember I need to manipulate some elements as well
Tossing the people I was carrying forward I lift both arms from waist-high palms up to shoulder height watching the ocean in front of us swell into a massive quarter of a mile-high stationary tsunami
We are all rising up with the wall of water
People are caught up in the water but I am flying parallel straight up to the top
I fly over the crest of the wave which feels incredibly high up
Doing a sort of backflip turn in the air similar to the way a pole vaulter clears a jump
Feeling the mist of turbulent water on my face from the top as I cross with the water to my back, I am looking upwards towards the dark starlit sky with a bright sun still illuminating the setting
I feel the dream destabilize some so I turn my head to get the beach and shoreline back in my field of view
I am overcome with emotions and a pleasant sensation washes over my body as I freefall head-first down the face of the tsunami toward the island
There are several alien pearl beings on the shore along with pearls around me in the ocean
There is no violent crash of the water as the wave levels out with the ocean calmly again
We are all now just wading water a few feet from the shoreline
The dream fades as I take in the scenery completely overwhelmed with the realization that I finally had my lucid dream
It's beautiful and picturesque, just a sunny day in paradise
